Beautiful cottage with stunning views with a good location for local attractions. We had a lovely stay and the beds were very comfortable for well rested nights sleep. We will definitely be returning.

We loved the house very cosy and the view was beauiful it had everything we need and i would love to stay again. Very good location.

The head board on the bed are lose so they made noise when you would move in your sleep.

The property was absolutely perfect for a short break away while attending the nearby Open Championship in Hoylake. The views and location of the property are stunning, and the area is very peaceful. The property has all the necessary facilities, and the rooms are clean and comfy. Access was super easy, and communication with the host was excellent. Wifi was provided free of charge and was ample for our trip needs.

The living room sofas were okay but not necessarily comfy for long periods of time. My father is over 70, and he found them a little uncomfortable. Also, there is only one toilet located upstairs, which means that when staying with others, you have to time toilet breaks and limit bathroom activity. There were also not many obvious places to put down drinks and or food when sitting in the living room. A small coffee table would have made a great addition. Finally, the access hill is steep and windy (albeit breathtaking too) and the parking room is good but quite tight for a larger vehicle. We managed with one Volvo XC90 but anything larger than that or multiple cars much bigger than a Ford Focus would struggle I think. The property do mention this but it's well worth being aware of prior to your arrival.

Loved the outside area, but didn't get to enjoy it much because of the rain. It was spacious enough for 2 small families, a group of 7.

The parking was tight, but thats understandable considering the location. Also getting there was a bit scary, and the automatic stair lights not working didnt help, but Ian did say he would come and have a look at it, but we didn't want to bother.

The views were amazing. The garden was really nice. We thinking about getting ours done. The dogs loved it. The accommodation was lovely.

Beautiful cottage in a great setting views was awesome cottage was so homely with lots of room. All the accessities was there as needed very clean and well presented. Ian was a too host helps with any questions you may have and gave very clear and detailed instructions with directions which was good as pretty high up a hill to get to but we found it in no time so we had no issues. Nice retail park with shops not far at all. In all nice lil town walked to the beach there which only takes around 25 mins walk was a real lovely sandy beach was just the little get away that was needed. 10 out of 10 for us.

There was not much to deslike but if had to be picky would be found the sofa not 100% comfortable if lying on for along time.

Loved the layout of the property, very spacious. The garden with views was great. The kitchen had everything that we needed.

It is a beautiful property just let down slightly by the bathroom as this wasn’t as thoroughly clean as you may expect. A little more attention to detail here and the scores would have been excellent.

Having an estate car, it was a little awkward to get along the last section of road and get parked, particularly during the recent snow. This could be daunting for some drivers.

Everything. One of the best stays you could wish for. Beautiful location with spectacular views. Peaceful and quiet. Really kind owner. Spotlessly clean. Smart TVs for enjoyment of viewing when in the cottage. Powerful and instant hot water and heating system, during the winter it was very welcome. I look forward to returning already in the future.

we would have liked a welcome pack perhaps some Milk , coffee ☕️ and tea some of the bed pillows were very hard

Absolutely stunning views. The cottage was spotless. lots of space for 5 of us. The high chair, stair gates and travel cot were an added bonus and made our stay so much more comfortable as we knew our little one was safe which meant we could relax. Enclosed front and rear garden added to this also. The property is up a hill with a few narrow roads but this just added to the sense of seclusion, although the shops are a 5 min drive away. Best of both worlds. Great communication from the hosts too.
