Amazing welcome, wonderful hospitality. A way to really live with the island. It's also away from town so it's quieter

This is a beautiful unrestored 98 year old wooden Caribbean house with a balcony overlooking tropical scenery and the Caribbean sea. It's a 15 minute walk to the best beach on the island. If you are not looking for modern facilities, this hotel is by far the best value on the island. Most hotels on San Andres are overpriced, this place is really a bargain.

Very cozy old house located in a safe part in San Andres. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.

There are a lot of mosquitoes as it is close to the island vegetation.

We had a great stay at Coconut Paradise lodge, it really felt like home for the time we were there. The house is pretty rustic and could maybe do with a bit of updating, but it definitely had its own charm. We felt well looked after by our hosts and really appreciated the ease of loaning their two scooters while we were there.

We had breakfast one one day which could have been a bit better for the price. Also the wifi wasnt working.

Janete, who stays in the house taking care of everything, is really caring, nice and helpful. She helped us with absolutely everything we needed: from arranging a cab to take us to the airport to finding a motorcycle to rent, to lending us her phone charger (since ours didn't match the plugs of the house). Besides that, she made us feel at ease and talking to her was really nice too. There is no AC, but the ceiling fan was more than enough for us to feel good.

The living room has a musty smell. The house lacks maintenance. In our bedroom, the furniture was ok, but there were broken furniture in other areas of the house. The shared TV room was messy, flooded with the owners' books and papers. And, despite our bedroom was clean, other areas of the house looked dirty (including the kitchen itens we were allowed to use). Also, there were no adaptors to power plugs different from the ones they have in the house. Janete, very keenly, lent us her charger for our mobiles not to run completely out of energy. About the location: it is further from downtown than we had thought, and commuting in the island is not very easy. My advice would be: if you can, stay closer to downtown.
