The toilet was flooded when we arrive. Very small room for the price we paid and falling apart hotel.

Excellent location, with comfortable and spacious rooms, and a good breakfast

The building is somewhat old, with noisy, cranky lifts, noisy air conditioning. The shower had just lukewarm water at lunch time (it was ok in the morning). In general, the room was clean. However the shelf inside the wardrobe was very dusty.

The location of the hotel is definitely the highlight, being less than 10 min by car to the National Congress and a walking distance from the main park and two shopping malls, which makes it very convenient and accessible. There is also a laundromat right at the corner. The staff was attentive and the front desk is 24h.

There are many small issues with the hotel. At first glance, one can notice that the facilities are very old and definitely need renovation. The air conditioner was weak and did not always work. The elevators wouldn't always show which floor it was in and the buttons sometimes would not properly function. The breakfast was definitely underwhelming, the coffee was terrible and my colleagues had to go outside to buy it and there were very few vegan-friendly options, everything seemed a bit old and low quality.

The windows doesn't close properly so you can hear quite loud the traffic and the city below. The price does NOT include the parking and the region is not safe to park outside so keep in mind to add more to use it.

The staff was really friendly and polite

The location was wonderful, close to two shopping malls and most touristic attractions. But that's not really relevant, since all hotels in the city are in the exact same place. The room was very comfortable, with clean and soft sheets, a nice mattress and lots of decent pillows. By far the best thing was the shower: lots of pressure either warm or cold, with nice temperature adjustments. The towels were also very soft and clean.

Overall the hotel is old and in need of renovation. The elevators are old and noisy and may not fit a lot of luggage. The place seems to be understaffed, given that the same guy and lady were the only ones I ever saw at the lobby. But by far the two most unacceptable things are: - The front door, which was clearly broken and didn't move properly. This made it difficult to open it, especially when carrying luggage. I also didn't feel safe because of that, so I decided to keep my computer and money locked in the safe at all times. - The AC was nonexistent. I mean, it was there but made no difference at all, especially during daytime, since my room got the hot afternoon sun from Brazilian Highlands. During night it was more acceptable, but never got really cold there.
