Flawless, would be the only way to describe our stay. The merging of authentic Portuguese hospitality and new world comforts makes this farm to table boutique property a gem amongst the Douro Valley. From my morning runs through the vineyard, to my husband and I taking the paddle boards at our leisure out on the Douro with the whole river to ourselves. The incredible sunsets we witnessed from our private pool villa and sunrises we enjoyed accompanied with the most deliciously customisable breakfasts. The details, it’s all about the details and with João leading the team, everything we required was consistently attended to with utmost care. The creative young chefs provided Michelin star level dishes and to be able to celebrate my husbands 40th in the beautiful outdoor glasshouse with the most gorgeous of meals and birthday cake amongst friends was surreal. After a long year in London we felt revived from our short stay and would return in a heart beat. O melhor de Portugal! @dr.mcas @brb.travel

We stayed two nights in room 6 in the main house. Not large but cosy and well decorated room. Outside own parking available at the property, located ~500m from the main house with readly available shuttle service provided in nice electric UTVs. + Beautiful farmhouse, great facilities and privileged view of the D'Ouro river + Free outdoor activities such as bike, kayak, stand-up paddle, walking around the vineyards, etc + Nice options of tasting experiences to book + Amazing breakfast: good variety and quality of fruits, breads, ham, cheese, coffee, eggs, etc + Confortable and clean rooms: everything working perfectly in the room + Very quiet and private rooms + Good quality sheets and pillows + Staff super friendly and helpful + Good quality wines locally produced + Great pool area and bar service + Complimentary coffee, tea and water in the room

Not many alternatives of restaurants in ~5km range (not the easiest roads to be driving around all the time).

Absolutely stunning stay in the Duoro Valley. We only had one night unfortunately- but we wish we could have stayed longer. Tricky to get to- our GPS sent us the wrong way a few times- but well worth it to get away from the crowds and find a little private slice of paradise.

Everything was EXCELLENT. The food was the best we’ve ever had and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive.
