Staying at Jungle Villa was the right decision for us. It's right next to the jungle, on the river, and abundant with wildlife. The staff was outstanding - very caring and attentive. And the views were great - loved sitting out on the deck at sunset with my Margarita. Food was very good too. I suppose we missed the energy of the tourist area, but living amidst nature was the best. You can't go wrong with staying here.

A large fire was being tended to next door to the resort for several days. Not the resort's fault, but after being in wonderful, but polluted Kathmandu, I was hoping for a respite. I don't regret a thing though - an outstanding experience with an outstanding staff. I felt sad leaving. I don't usually feel that way when I travel.

From the website we thought there was a pool so very disappointed
