We arrived with our reservationand the establishment was full (but our room) i hadnt well checked, and the family room had a bunk bed. We hoped we could change rooms so that my mother in law could sleep in a bed without climbing (we have 2 young children with whome my spouse and i both sleep with, so.we couldnt swap). The owner felt really bad for the misunderstanding, not only did he offer us breakfast but the next day when the establishment was less full, he offered us an wxtra room.for her no extra charge. All this even if was my mistake. The service is stupendous. The airconditionning is perfect with the hot weather. We shall come again when we visit montañita.

we had a top floor room with a view of the ocean, it was peaceful and far enough away from town that it wasn’t too loud. the Pool was a little dirty but so nice to have a dip after being at the beach.

We did not get breakfast. Great location we could walk everywhere.
We were on the second floor stair we dangerous, steep. No help taking up luggage.

Beds are comfortable, super close to the beach, close enough from the center. Friendly staff. TV with netflix. Great AC. Good price.
Over all I was happy with my stay.
The room was not dirty but there were black hair all over, and my hair is not dark. Shower was not to good. Other then that I was happy for this price I did not expected anything more.

The place was very well located, close to the beach, clean and comfy, also the staff and the host were very kind, cared a lot about the image of the place and made sure guests are enjoying their stay

Everything. Within an hour of checking into this place, I made friends with most of the staff. Also, it's pretty much right on the beach, and around the corner from the city center. There is free coffee and the food they cook is so awesome(especially the Bolón). 10/10. You want to stay here if you come to Montañita.
If you're there on a weekend, they party really hard near the city center. It can get really loud. It didn't bother me, but one thing to keep in mind. If you love to party, disregard this 🤘
