Everything was perfect. We loved it. Can't wait to go back again. Rooms are beautiful with wooden furniture and a very shabby chic concept. Stunning 😍 I traveled with my 10 year old, and the hotel sent a car to the Wengen station to pick up. That was just amazing. Food is amazing, 5* feeling!! 4 courses meals, servers are walking around to serve you. We loved it ❤️ View from my room was facing the mountains, which was the highlight .✨️ There is a garden that stole my heart. Overall, I loved it ,love it, and will go back again, no doubt.

For this kind of Money I would have liked a Kettle and a min fridge in the room.

The location is great. There are lots of places to sit and relax both inside and out with awe inspiring views of Lauterbrunnen Valley and the mountains.

It would have been useful to have had a fridge in the room. The room was a little small and a bit tired .

We loved our room and the fabulous view of the mountains! We loved hiking on the nearby trails and appreciated hiking tips from the staff. We were grateful for early check-in and having our bags held after check-out. The room was very nicely appointed. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was great. Breakfast was generous. We were very impressed by the 4 course dinners offered for only 20SF. The staff was kind and helpful. It was wonderful to get a ride to and from the train station. The dining and lounge areas are extensive and beautiful in the best mountain lodge traditions. Lastly, we enjoyed our balcony and the nice furniture on it. We were very happy to have stayed here and hope to return!

Would be nice to have an electric kettle and small fridge in the room. This is a minor point, really a wonderful family run lodge.

The corner room had plenty of mountain views, and the balcony was very nice. The restaurant prepared very good food. The breads at breakfast were wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the shuttle to the train station is useful. The lobby is very attractive. I've stayed here before and it is my top choice in Wengen.

It's a bit of a walk downhill from the train station, but that's not unexpected in a mountain town. Some of the main courses were very small, but the cheese buffet usually included with dessert gave a second chance for ample food.

Nothing much except that it is a steep walk to the train station however they provide free shuttle service if you do not want to walk :)

Fantastic location with amazing views and in quieter area of Wengen, just outside hotel hike to Marys caffe which has wonderful panoramic scenery. Proximity to train station, cable car to ski, local ski place is additional benefit. Food is authentic, homemade with great selection of alcohol, eg: Scottish artisan gin Very useful shuffle bus from and to the hotel - no need to carry luggage. Hotel is cosy, well maintained.

location, views, every comfort and cosy alpine style yet ultra clean and modern conveniences, v friendly and attentive staff, good food, warm and cosy family feel -it felt more like a family chalet rather than a hotel. V comfortable room, bed and bathroom with good water pressure. Family owners very much visible and in charge. We couldn’t really fault a thing! Other guests we spoke to felt the same way - wonderful.

Everything was pretty perfect. If there was one small improvement to make, particularly for we Brits, it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Wengen is a beautiful town nestled in the Swiss Alps. The Hotel Alpenrose is located a bit outside of the main part of town which makes me perhaps a quieter location. The quality of the dining for both dinner and breakfast is very high. There are no private cars inside of Wengen. The hotel does a good job in transporting you to the train station or other places as needed.

The rooms are certainly not large (I had a single room), but sufficiently comfortable. The beds were great. After a day of hiking, the bed comfort was much appreciated.

Peaceful country setting with magnificent views of the valley and mountainside. Hotel provided a shuttle and met us at the train station when we arrived. Very helpful staff. made great recommendations for hikes and activities in the area. Very nice to be able to have dinner and breakfast on the hotel premises (included)

We loved Alpenrose. Rooms, service, and especially the views were outstanding. it was quiet and convenient to the train.

The only negative was the walk to the hotel was challenging for me. They did deliver us to the station upon checkout.
