When I was upgraded to a better room this then meet the photo displayed on booking.com that's was the only nice thing.

The run down room issued initially, no towels, no bathmat (which I ended up slipping and hurting myself) room service but no phone to call to have room service, the broken toilet that they had someone come to look at 4 times said it was fixed and it never was,the giant cockroaches in both rooms that I stayed in, the ants, the hotel management who showed no empathy at all and never offered a room change with all the above issues I had to request it. The whole stay was uncomfortable and disappointing and can you believe no refund or even part refund was offered even when my complaint was issued.

- pool was great, always someone cleaning and maintaining the area (there’s a lot of construction in Malta currently making it dusty when it’s windy, but it’s clear the staff are doing their best to avoid dusty. - always sun loungers available - every staff member was so lovely - Aircon and fan in room worked very well and definitely a necessity in the July heat - location was good, very close walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops, but also cheap reliable taxis available on bolt to Valletta (€20), the airport (€22) and to Rivera beach (€21 return) for a group of 3. - I saw a lot of dramatic reviews, I was nervous to stay here but had a great holiday, if you don’t need anything too fancy and want a pool this is the perfect hotel.

- Room we were in was a bit outdated which made it feel less clean - however, we paid a low price for this hotel and definitely got value for money - We had cockroaches in our room one night- I don’t think this is a problem with our room or the hotel, everywhere on the paths in St. Paul’s bay had cockroaches at night so I think its unavoidable

The location of the property was good in terms of getting around using bolt was very reasonable and local buses in and around town was accessible. However having said that if your looking for a location with beautiful scenery, no dust then the area St Paul’s is not for you. I would highly recommend Messrs I think that’s how it’s spelt. Bugibba more towards Silema or Valletta. There was a fantastic beautiful beach called Golden Bay. Ibis hotel or H hotel in bugibba is a good stay. Whatever avoid St Paul’s it’s run down and deserted which is a shame as the locals are friendly but it appears that many have now left that area. Overall because I complained to the hotel manager and booking.com as well as other guest who approached us and had the same thoughts my room was upgraded not by much but at least my actual room was not flooded with ants and riddle with damp. I would never return and urge no one else to. It could of ruined my first impression and holiday to Malta but thankfully myself and my partner managed to make the most of it.

The property was extremely poor the hygiene facilities, cockroaches, bugs you name it the property had it. Initially we were due to stay at the Bora Bora hotel via Long-stay travel but due to poor communication and bad management our hotel was cancelled 3 days before we were due to fly out I was devastated and highly anxious. Once refunded we then found on booking.com the San Anton hotel and booked the images on the your site did not reflect the real images once we arrived. I basically left my home to be surrounded by cockroaches, ants, bugs, damp and bad smelling sewage issues ;(

Walking distance to bus serviced rooms everyday. Staff very helpful. Moved us to new room as first one had one curtain on window and only closed halfway and we were on the front side of hotel with street lights outside the room.

Old, noisy staff seem to stay in rooms they talked very loudly washing hanging on the balcony floor tiles uneven creaky. Bathrooms mouldy. No where to keep water cold.

Service was spot on and prompt. The staff were super friendly and very helpful.

The hotel as a structure didn't meet my expectations but my stay was great.

People at the reception desk- super nice, hepful,they are the best from thes hotel, then swimming pool areálu, which was clean.

The staff is amazing, they were all super nice, kind, welcoming and available for all requests. Also the area of the swimming pool is nice.

The hotel is quite old, a lot of things were not working like sockets, hairdryer, the fan on the ceiling was really really noisy and the air conditioning was not so powerful so it took a while to cool down the temperature in the room. The shower is old and lacks of maintenance. We also found one host not really appreciated in our room, if you know what I mean..
