Beautiful rooms, new furnishings inside. The owner Dinusha is very kind, the staff is honest and good, Sunshine Villa really made Sigiriya a beautiful destination. They picked us up at Colombo airport and picked us up safely. In the evening they took us to see elephants at Minneriya National Park. They also had a night safari planned to see the night beauty of Sigiriya. Luckily for us, Sunshine Villa was the place to stay. We had a great experience. I recommend it 100%.

La estructura e instalaciones del alojamiento, cómodas, limpias y amplias.
Nos tocó el proceso de ampliación y mejora de las instalaciones y esto deslucio la estancia.
Nos tocó el edificio que se está ampliando y falta igualar el detalle de las habitaciones a lo que aparece en las fotos.(sábanas, toallas, cojines)

- Personal eigentlich freundlich aber aufgrund des Besitzers leider aufdringlich (siehe unten)

- Der Besitzer und seine Mitarbeitenden (auf Anweisung des Besitzers) waren extrem aufdringlich. Bevor man mal im Zimmer war wollten sie einem alle möglichen Touren oder Transportmöglichkeiten und das Nachtessen andrehen. Man hat gar keine Zeit um erst einmal anzukommen. Im gleichen Stile ging es auch später am Pool weiter oder als sie nocheinmal an der Zimmertür klopften, was ziemlich unanständig ist. Hat man Touren oder Transport zu besseren Preisen gebucht, wird dies kaum akzeptiert und plötzlich wären bessere Preise möglich.

Great location in the forest environment. Rooms with all facilities and bathroom big and very clean. All beds equip with mosquito net and fans. Free parking facility and provided room for the driver. Vehicle available with experience driver for wild tour to see elephants. Great wild tour experience with reasonable rate.
Dinner booked was BBQ but served very normal food and not satisfied the taste. Dining area allowed smoking that disturb other non smokers and families with children during dinner time.

El desayuno completo (rollito, tostadas con mermelada y mantequilla, huevo, fruta y café/te). También cenamos un día allí y estaba muy rico.
Cogimos dos habitaciones y en la de arriba no llegaba muy bien el Wifi. Aunque avisan en la reserva, no se puede pagar con tarjeta.

Zeer warm onthaald, mocht de avond zelf gratis de brommer van de eigenaar gebruiken om te gaan eten. Ondersteunde ons zeer goed bij vragen, brommer en tours. Leuke safari naar de olifanten met aangename chauffeur, wel wat aan de duurdere kant. Goed ontbijt. Eigenaar heeft ons altijd vroeg in de ochtend voorzien van koffie of thee. Op onze laatste dag speciaal naar de bushalte gebracht en gewacht tot we veilig en wel opgestapt waren, met ontbijtpakket!
Zeker een aanrader!
Koud water uit de douche, wel een goed verfrissing (wij zijn ook niet gaan vragen of er warm water was).

The location, there isn't much restaurants or anything close, so you have to take a tuk tuk to go anywhere. If you are looking for a quiet, middle of nowhere vibe then this might be good for you!

The owner of the property is a good host. He arranged drivers to go Dambulla, Anudrahapura and Pollonnawura. He made discount for village tour. Also, he takes us to Spa center with his tuktuk.

Good beds, good airconditioning.
The host was very rude to our friend who drove us to the hotel. He told him to leave and made pictures of him and his vehicle to intimidate him. He was very pushy to sell us trips, we didn't like he's way of offering service. We definitely started on the wrong foot because of his rude behaviour to my friend and we didn't like he's overall demeanour.

The people working there were all great and very very helpful. The food was amazing. I booked the room and wanted airport pickup last minute and all was provided to me. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful when I wanted something or to go somewhere anytime. I really recommend this place.

We loved our stay! Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and equipped with amenities, hairdryer, mosquito nets, clean towels, a fan and the A/C. Beds are very confortable, with clean sheets and even memory foam pillows. The owner and staff are very accommodating, they would drop us for free in town, or prepare tea/coffee whenever we would ask, also for free. The included breakfast is very nice, with fruits, eggs and toasts. Big thank you to the owner and the staff.

We had a nice stay at the Sunshine Villa. Beautiful place and a nice room. The food was very good. The owner has his own Tuk Tuk so it was very useful he arranged for us pick up and drop off when needed :)

This stay was perfect! Llcation was stunning and the host Dinusha was super helpful as was Dinu! The beds where so comfortable, room was spacious and it was the cleanest bathroom we've had yet! We also loved Lily the fluffy dog! The only slight issue was that the WiFi didn't quite reach our room but it was very fast in the restaurant area. The breakfast was also great as was the curry we ordered one night. Definitely reccomend people to stay at Sigiriya Sun Shine Villa!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The house had a nice open area with a view to the garden, which we really enjoyed.
We had a nice local dinner and breakfasts. We were very well taken care of - always had local beer stocked up in the fridge, got a lift Pidurangala rock early in the morning and they organised bicycles to rent for us from next door.
The best part of the stay were the people running Sun Shine Villa - really warm, helpful and nice, always checking if we had everything we needed.

The hosts are the lovliest people, very attentive and welcoming. They have 2 sweet dogs. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They also cooked a nice dinner and breakfast for us.
