El Jardín: El jardín, rodeado de seto vegetal está equipado con mobiliario que os permitirá descansar, leer o comer al aire libre. Desde allí podréis observar los pájaros que anidan en la casa o que vienen a comer mientras disfrutáis del aroma de la hierbaluisa, la menta, el romero…

El entorno: La Vall es el pulmón de la ciudad de Girona, con diversas fuentes y abundantes caminos señalizados para pasear. También podréis hacer excursiones de una o dos horas, subiendo al castillo de Sant Miquel desde donde en un día claro disfrutareis de una magnífica panorámica hacia el Pirineo por un lado o la llanura de l´Empordày el mar hacia el otro, podéis andar hasta el Santuari del Àngels (en dos horas) donde os prepararán un buen arroz!

The accommodation was just right for us, and the location is the perfect combination because it’s both rural and city at the same time. Landlady Roser is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only downside is finding the place! Try putting Carrer Tambor Ansó in your satnav cos Carme Auguet is definitely no good!

Riding our motorbike in Catalunia!
Amazing place to stay for few days or weeks,
20 minute, strol to the walls with lits to see drink and eat...
A little bus every hours or so, also goes to town if you are a but lazy.
Beaches are about 40/50 minutes away, very very clean, mixture of sand and gravel.
Great luttle holiday.

Fantastic location in a very picturesque part of the city, very clean and fully equipped property (even with the washing machine).
Roser is a perfect hostess, lives next door and is always available with any help/advice if needed. Fully recommend it for a visit to Girona and the surrounding area.

The property is well equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Has a space for parking a car (albeit on the narrow road in front of the property) and good garage for secure bike storage. There is a shady terrace for sitting out with views across the valley. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk into Girona along the Sant Daniel valley.
The property is quite dark, with some of the windows permanently shuttered, but maybe that is necessary in the summer. Roser is an excellent host, and lives next door so checkin was very easy.
Would recommend.

Beautiful house in the lovely valley of St Daniel. Our host, Roser, couldn't have been more friendly and kind. Great for cycling because a secure garage is available. Easy to get into the old town of Girona but a ten minute walk back to the house brings peaxe and tranquility.

Charming house near Girona
This was a very interesting stay in the quiet countryside. The house had all of the modern conveniences and plenty of room. There were lots of trails to hike, ancient buildings and it was a very short distance to walk to Girona. There was parking and a lovely back porch and garden. Roser was very helpful.

Wonderful Apartment for Exploring Girona
This was our second visit to Girona - the apartment is within a short walk to the historic city center and is in a quiet local neighborhood with a lovely view, terrace, and everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. There are walking and biking trails right in the neighborhood. Roser and her family are lovely and will make sure that you have a perfect stay!

The Perfect Place to Visit Girona
I cannot express how much I enjoyed staying at this cozy apartment.
Every aspect is perfect. Using the excellent directions, I had no problems finding the location. Roser then provided all the info needed to settle in. The apartment was spotless. There was a well appointed kitchen, with everything I needed to prepare all meals. The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet. The garden is lovely, perfect for enjoying coffee in the sun. The view was exquisite, overlooking the valley of the river Galligants with hills and walls of Girona on the far slopes. A short walk into the old town, puts one in the middle of the maze of tiny streets for which Girona is famous.
I visited Girona for the cycling, and this location provides easy access to many of the famous routes. Mountain bike trails are nearby, as well. I would stay here again to continue my exploration of this region.
Roser is a fantastic host, so very helpful. I cannot thank her enough for making my stay remarkable!

Just perfect!
Golden standard for Home Away service! Roser is a wonderful host. The house is sparkling clean, perfectly maintained and tastefully decorated. All appliances worked. No problems whatsoever. Everything you need to cook, bake, etc. was there neatly stored in designated places. The house is very quiet and comfortable. The place has a small private yard, which was awesome to sit in with coffee, or a glass of wine. Beautiful country side, yet just 10 minutes walk from old town Girona. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for the person who wants it all!
The accommodation has everything you could need for your stay. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Roser, the owner, lives next door to the apartment so is on hand should you require anything (including an extensive knowledge of the surrounding district). She is very friendly but respects your privacy. The apartment is on the edge of a small suburb of Girona, St Daniel within 15 - 20 minutes walk from the old town. There is also a bus service which will take you round a good part of the city. A taxi will cost you no more than 10 euros from the centre. If you are a keen walker or cyclist there are many routes you can access from St Daniel. The local municipal swimming pool is also a must - newly refurbished and extremely clean. It is a large pool with numerous sunbeds on the grass surrounding the pool. Access is only 7 euros for the day with no time limit on your stay. I have visited a number of cities and Girona is by far my favourite added to by superb accommodation, the holiday was a real winner! Thank you Roser!

Oasis of calm
Lovely stay in Girona during the flower festival in May. Everything we needed in the apartment, and the host was very helpful in providing information and help getting groceries, etc. There's a small hill en route to the apartment location; no problem, but just mentioning in case someone with reduced mobility may need to know this.

Great house in a great location
The house is situated about in a rural valley 20 to 25 minutes walk from the centre of Girona and so is good for visiting the town. We did our shopping in the small and friendly local store redolent of Catalonia of past decades. There is a good and inexpensive restaurant 10 minutes walk from the house and which caters mainly for locals. Thus it is a good place in which to try a Catalan menu which is not directed towards the usual touristic menu.
The house was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable and the host, who lives next door, was very wecoming. I can very highly recommend this rental.

Lovely place
A delightful cottage with everything one could need. The house is very well equipped and it was lovely to have the patio and garden, offering several different places to sit outside. The walk into the city (20 minutes) is very pleasant, along the banks of a stream, bringing you into town just behind the cathedral. In the other direction, there are footpaths out into the hills - we climbed to a tower at St Miguel, which offered wonderful views all around. This was the best of both worlds - like being in the countryside, yet also close to the city centre.
Roser was very friendly and welcoming; she explained local buses, shops and provided maps to help. She left us to enjoy the space, but was there to help if we needed anything.

Perfect
This accommodation was perfect for us. Overall it is spacious and clean, and everything is in very good order. There's all you need, including a washing machine and a dishwasher.
There are highlights. Roser the owner is next door, and she's very helpful and available if you need her. There's a balcony off the kitchen, which we sat on very happily every evening. There's a lovely walk into Girona centre, which takes only 10 to 15 minutes. In spite of being so close to the city centre, it is very quiet, apart from birdsong and croaking frogs. There's a shop within 5 minutes, and the nearby restaurant is excellent. The wifi was good.
We are cyclists and had our bikes with us. It was great that we could keep our bikes securely in the garage. We could work on the bikes in the garden, and also used the hosepipe to clean the bikes.
We would stay here again, and recommend it to everyone, especially cyclists.

Lovely apartment in perfect location
We stayed in this lovely apartment for nine nights. On arrival Roser gave us a warm welcome and showed us around this immaculate apartment. The apartment was as described, but the photos don't do it justice, it has many lovely touches which make it a home from home. The location is perfect for peace snd tranquility with the hustle and bustle of Girona a 15 min stroll away. Roser was very helpful and very easy to deal with. We hope to return soon.

Charming, clean and economical
My husband and I stayed for a week in May. The apartment was exactly as pictured in the photographs. It was very clean, and very comfortable. We liked being so close to Old Town ( 15 minute walk) year out in the country. It was pretty special. There is a nature park just down the lane. The apartment view is of the woodlands below in the valley. We came to cycle, and were able to,park our rental car right outside the door,and lock our bikes in the attached garage. We prepared most of our meals in the apartment and had adequate utensils to do that! There is a neighborhood market just down the lane open most mornings with a surprisingly good stock of essentials. We drove to Aldi (10 minutes) and stocked up for the week. The weather was gorgeous while we were there and we dined several times in the garden and also washed several loads of cycling gear and dried them on the rack in the same sunny and private garden. Roser was an excellent hostess and very attentive to every need. If you want to live in the community and get a feel for being a local, this is the spot for you!

Perfect winter stay
My husband and I stayed for one month (February 2015) in this perfect little apartment just outside of Girona in Val Sant Daniel, an oasis of peace and nature but within walking distance to town and all the amenities we required. We did not have a car during our stay.
The apartment, which is more like a small house, is spotless and very well thought out, with sufficient electrical outlets, many wall radiators for heating (required in February.) The queen bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. There is also a daybed in the bedroom.There are lights everywhere for reading. Lots of towels and ample hot water. The kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals. For a longer stay like ours, I would have liked an oven, but I knew when I booked that there wasn’t one.
There are quality windows throughout so the apartment is bright and sunny.
The kitchen opens onto a fabulous private patio with table and chairs, and the patio drops one flight of stairs onto your own large garden area with additional seating. I used some of the herbs for cooking. A wide variety of birds have also made this their home and we awoke each morning to birdsong.
We are cyclists and were able to store our bikes in a garage just off the patio.
Roser and her husband live next door and are very kind and helpful, answering questions and providing information about what to see and do in the area. Roser enjoys hiking so I accompanied her a few times to places I would not have found on my own. They are wonderful hosts; there if you need them, unobtrusive otherwise.
We would absolutely return to Girona and this apartment, which was our best rental experience in years.

Wonderful
This apartment was lovely - clean, nicely furnished, well equipped, comfortable beds and within walking distance of Girona. We were there in November and although the weather was pleasant, it wasn't warm enough for us to use the outdoor patio - pity, it looked delightful. We used this apartment to not only visit Girona but to tour the Costa Brava and it worked well for that. We can highly recommend Monestir de San Pere de Rodes and also the ruins of Empuries as well as Girona itself. We enjoyed a meal at El Cui del Mon just a few minutes walk down the road from the apartment. The owner was lovely. If you are in Girona, this is the place to stay!
