-Très éloigné de la ville -accueil quasi militaire -électricité fournie par générateur situé contre le mur de la chambre donc très très bruyant - paiement complet pris sur compte bancaire donc taxes supplémentaires…

Beautiful gardens and the restaurant is simple yet satisfying, with tasty food at a great price. The whole place made me feel like I was living in a 1950s movie.

The forest wardens will chase after you and tell you off if you wander into the reserve without permission. I walked all the way to Parsons Valley Dam without getting eaten by a tiger, but five separate wardens scolded me. Another one just talked to me about cricket, he was my favourite.

Beautiful location within the grounds of the large horticultural gardens in Ooty. The hotel channels heritage vibes with a feeling you've stepped back in time, loads of character, the deluxe room was huge with tasteful furniture and great views. The staff maintain the facilities well and were always helpful. The simple restaurant serves up delicious food throughout the day, offering good value and the team serving were always friendly.
