Historic building, Restaurant, house keeping very friendly, nice complimentary yoga class in the morning

We made a non-refundable booking providing our credit card. Checking out they charged us for the food, bar and the spa. Approximately 30 min after we had left they called our driver explaining that we have not paid for the room. I was shocked!!! I assumed they charged my credit card during booking. I asked the manager to bill my credit card which I provided with my non-refundable booking. Nothing worked via phone. So we returned to the hotel to make the payment. The whole procedure took more then one hour. I asked the manager since it was not our fault and we lost a lot of time to compensate at least the extra cost for the driver. When we arrived at our final destination it turned out that the extra cost for the additional trip back to the hotel was also on us 😳

Beds were really good. Staff very helpful.

Flooring not what you would expect at this price - does not give a luxury feel nor does it look clean. Bathrooms are small and not laid out well. The sink table wood is falling apart. Rubbish bins very dirty.

The breakfast was great, including a variety of food, and the kind behavior of the kitchen staff. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and very willing to assist with my needs.

A few electricity failures were there which could be fixed.
