Incredible and unique place to stay in the San Pedro area. The surrounding Tulor oasis is beautiful. Nico was very helpful before and during the stay. You need a car to reach the property and to see the local sites, 10 minutes drive to San Pedro de Atacama.

The decor of the place is really nice and overall the vibe of the place is lovely. If you are looking for something accessible from town and you don't have a 4w or a jeep, this is not the place for you. If you look for something secluded, with animals and outdoor cooking/living, then book this. Also they let us check out in the afternoon, which was very helpful

Hot water wasn't working on each morning, only working in the afternoon. Internet worked on day 3 and 4 only. The outdoor tub's pump didn't work so we were able to use it only on day 1 as then the water became all dirty. The outdoor fireplace didn't have charcoal to be used (you have to buy your own charcoal). Shame because the idea of a swim under the atacama's stars and a night around the fireplace were the reasons why we booked.

View (but that was about all)

This accommodation has one positive point - the view, but that is about all I am afraid: The impression is that the hosts want to make as much money with the least possible effort and I am afraid our stay was the least pleasant one of all our trip. Some of the reasons why: 1) Flies, flies and yes...even more ...flies! Not just normal flies, but flies that go sit in your ear an mouth. Not too comfortable. When we mentioned this to the hosts, they texted us that we had to go inside the room and keep it closed...Consider that the room is very hot. They have no precaution taken such as fly screens...So either you have a room full of flies, either you are burning away because of the heat, because you cannot open any window. When we asked if they could buy some fly catcher equipment they said yes, but in the end they said sorry we forgot to buy it and left it like that... 2) Pool water extremely cold The water in the pool is extremely cold (like a coldwater bath in the sauna, but here you want to use it like a normal bath so you can at least sit in there for 10 minutes right?). One of the reasons is that it is not well maintained. The solar cell supposed to take care of the heating is full of dust and is overgrown with weed. Knowing that they did not reacted to our suggestions (see below) we dusted of the cell ourselves and took away the weed. This helped somewhat, but there seem to be a more structural problem as the water still kept being cold. If you advertise these kind of facilities you also need to make sure it is in order... 3) No refill of Water and toilet paper We run out of drinking water and toilet paper, asked for it and asked for it again. (Water is quite necessary in the desert, no?). After 24 hours still no reply. In the end we drove all the way to San Pedro (12 kms to get there) to get it ourselves. 4) We had booked this accommodation via booking. Even though the host bothered us again during our holiday to reconfirm. 5) No kitchen equipment
