Stunning location, super-comfy rooms, perfect breakfast and amazing staff.

Cape Vue is a beautiful property in a stunning location. Deano and his team are so friendly & make you feel part of the Vue family. The rooms are lovely & felt very private. The garden, pool area & patio area are all very well maintained and are the perfect place to watch the amazing sun sets.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen; es hat eine tolle zentrale Lage, man kommt sehr bequem in den Ort zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Sehr ruhig und toller Garten mit einem sehr sauberen Pool

Die Stromausfälle, aber dafür kann ja das Hotel nichts. Es ist ein generelles Problem in Südafrika. Was wiederum sehr hilfreich war, dass am Frühstücksbuffet die Zeiten der Stromsperrung angebracht waren, somit konnte man sich sehr gut darauf einstellen.

Die Anlage, das Personal, die Zimmer - es war einfach alles perfekt!!

The location. The property. Butiful place in a outstanding landscape.

We had a tribal rain storm.and it was a traumatic stay. So, we didn't have electricity for 12 hours. No one! No one, contact us! The town was unexesiba, everything's close. stayed 4 rooms, 8 people alone with security guard. No food! Cold!!! No information, we wanted someone to come, but all the staff deseperd! We fix ourselves food, from the leftover in the fridge!!! When I contact the honeres, and ask him , how come is not contact us, to ask us, how are we, if we have food, do we need help, something!!! He just mumbled!!! So no help, no food, no information , not a little emppetite!!!! Nothing. He showed at 19 pm, fixed us something from left over, and left again. This is not a way to treat your guests! We took care of ourselves. We miss our flight, and for him, it was nothing. Great place, when all ok. If you will need help.... prayers to God! And we had ants in the bathroom.

Beautiful room, great staff and location and good value for money.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We loved the Country house and it was a pleasure from start to finish. Basil and his team are wonderful and we would recommend this house to anyone looking for a break.

Nice hotel in FranschHoek. Large and clean room and relaxed atmosphere. Close walk to the monument and around 500 m from WineTram pick up.

the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. location was good - near to town, but quiet. staff were all very kind and helpful, with a great breakfast. Nice fireplace in the main dining/ living room - v necessary as it was pretty cold when I visited. Bedrooms have heaters.

Exceptional location, beautiful views of the Boland mountains with amazing sunsets, well appointed rooms, quiet, comfortable bed, heated pool, close to Franschhoek town and close to amazing wineries.

We arrived with a warm wellcome, the place is bucolic, walking distance to the village. The room nicely decorated. The breakfast just delicious, don't go without trying the eggs benedict and chill close to the chimene

Loved our stay at Cape Vue. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great every day. Unfortunately we were not blessed with great weather and therefore we didn’t get chance to try the pool.

Excellent breakfast and fantastic views

Lovely house and gardens surrounded by its own vineyards. Our room was beautifully furnished, modern and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent, taken on the outside veranda.

I have to search hard to find something negative. Perhaps the fact that we were advised not to walk back the hotel after dark for safety reasons. It was however easy to walk into town before dark, as it is only 5 to 10 minutes at most. A very minor complaint against what is overall an outstanding hotel.

Gorgeous house and surroundings, absolutely stunning. Nice room and veranda.

There was nothing we disliked but in terms of location, it’s about half a km from the main strip which is very dark on a main road which feels dangerous to walk. we didn’t have a car and it was nearly impossible to get taxis or Ubers to take you such a short distance, we would have loved a short shuttle service by the hotel or would have stayed on the main Franschoek strip next time. Also, breakfast was fairly limited, specials were the same the entire time. We are vegetarian and don’t eat egg so our options were poor, would have appreciated some alternatives or something like a croissant as an alternative. Lastly, the staff are lovely but often nowhere to be seen, the cushions for the sun beds and surrounding benches had to be requested each time. We did enjoy our stay, but having stayed at a few other places in Cape Town and Franschoek, the customer service could have been slightly better. Thanks for a good stay.
