We had a lovely stay in this wonderful lodge overlooking Bassenthwaite lake. The lodge was immaculate and very well appointed and very spacious. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed amazing views over the lake from the terrace. Fantastic site which was lovely and peaceful with bird song. Perfectly located for exploring and close to Keswick. Great food in the local Sun Inn in Bassenthwaite village. Brilliant stay and definitely will return to this lovely place.

The lodge is perfectly situated on the site to make the most of that sensational view. It is modern and finished really well with a lovely interior. We had a fantastic three night stay and were very comfortable here… highly reccommend👌

Its a really lovely homily lodge. That has everything you need for a perfect holiday. We stayed here last year and loved it so we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Even if the weather wasnt as good 😂😂. Thanks to Christopher and Bridget once again for the lovely hamper on arrival xx

What a great little spot!! Easy to find, great access to local towns, villages, walks and views!!! The hosts have thought of everything you may need for a beautiful get away. A real home from home! Would definitely come back if we are up there again.

Fabulous property, beautifully presented as per photos on lovely quiet site with view of lake. Property furnished with everyday essentials to ease your vacation. A great location to explore north lakes and just a 10 minute drive into Keswick.

Cosy, clean and comfortable lodge right on Lake Bassenthwaite in the North Lakes. Amazing views of snow topped fells changing colours over the day. Dog loved being so close to the water. Wonderful long weekend.

A modern, large lodge in very good condition. The best we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended !

Lovely lodge, very clean and well maintained. Laid out well inside with everything you would need in the kitchen. Nice site with easy access to Bassenthwait lake and beautiful surroundings on all sides. Easy to get to most places around the Lakes, just off the A66. Would recommend and planning to go back.

The lodge we stayed in was fabulous it was very clean both inside and out, catered for every home comfort, the view was breathtaking and watching the stars on our last night was just amazing I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing, chilling holiday, just watching the butterflies alone was one of the most relaxing things I have ever done

We had an amazing weekend at this property. Great loaction. A short walk to the lake. We paddle boarded most days.15/20mins drive to keswick. Plenty to do and see within 30mins of the property.

Just got back from a 3 night stay the lodge was amazing very homely and clean with plenty of space it had every thing you needed. Beds was very comfortable. And the views from the lodge was amazing would definitely return. 5*

Lovely lodge in excellent, quiet location with assess to the lake and fantastic walks from the door. A couple of local pubs with excellent food Will come again

Liked it so much first time round, we came back for another visit, this time in February, taking a chance on the weather at this time of year. Property once again excellent, couldn't ask for more and weather was quite kind. Will return again at some point

Nice tidy site great views from lodge and lodge also very clean and well decorated. Bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. Couldn’t get the full experience due to very bad weather raining and strong winds all week. Would have loved to have chilled out on the deck overlooking the lake. But nice relaxing stay.

The lodge is lovely. Very clean and very well stocked. The owners have thought of everything. I’ve stayed in lots of lodges and this is without doubt the best we’ve had. They even had hair dryer and straighteners. Games, books DVD’s and every kitchen utensil you could think of. Lovely view of the lake, dog friendly and Mac enjoyed it too. There’s no washing machine which wasn’t an issue for us as we just had a weekend break but may be a problem if your there for a week and walking in mud etc. loads of nice areas to walk the dog around the site. Will deffo be back. Thanks for the wine and biscuits (left as a welcome gift)

Everything was perfect and everything you need is available. Great location to explore on foot or a short drive to other lakes. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location for us, lakeside . Views of lake and mountains. Very Quiet, clean site. Well off the beaten track. No shops nearby but not a problem for us. We have been here previously and hope to return. The Lodge was well furnished and comfortable.

Clean tidy lodge on a very peaceful site. Lovely view of Bassenthwaite Lake from the lodge. We had nice weather and enjoyed sitting on the patio area in the evening enjoying the sun.

A lovely, clean and spacious lodge in the perfect location, with fabulous views! This was our second visit for myself and my daughters, and sure it won't be our last.

Good location for swimming in the lakes (bassentwaite lake ar the base of lodges(1 _2 mins walk) . Brought our dog, great walks for him locally. Accommodation very clean on arrival, lovely showers. Recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, despite the heatwave. The lodge was clean and comfortable and its location on the east side of Bassenthwaite Lake is ideal for access to great walks and good eateries. The lodges are somewhat close together, but that's the only negative. Great holiday
