Very well located in the North, close to the beach (walking distance) and about 2kms from malls. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Manager and owner were exceptionally good and helpful. I highly recommend this property for people on business who are looking for value for money and a quiet neighborhood

The continental breakfasts were fresh and tasty.

Host was welcoming and was there upon my arrival in the morning. Very well taken care of. Breakfast each morning was simple but good (toast, fresh croissant, juice, tea/coffee, yoghurt, fruit), and served by the pool. Secure parking behind a gate for the car. Short but easy car drive to other parts of the island as required. Room was nice, bed comfy, separate kitchenette and the staff provided me with cooking things as I was there for two weeks. Room cleaned every few days.

This is more of a bed-and-breakfast style setup than a traditional hotel. There are no staff in the afternoon around, although they are easily contactable if issues arise. Without a car it's quite a walk to anywhere, even the nearest beaches let alone any shops. There are a few close restaurants. I would recommend getting a rental car if you are planning on staying here, and then it's definitely worth the money. Wi-Fi could do with a little rework to get the extenders in the right places, but it worked well enough for me to work remotely.

The room was a spacious for one person. There is a private kitchen so I cooked instant food when I was lazy to go out at night. Also, a swimming pool is great. It was very hot so I enjoyed the pool when I came back to the hotel.

For going to the beach, you need a taxi. but it is difficult to find it on street. You need to walk. Hotel staff are away day time and after evening. so if you need to ask something, you can not find them. You can talk with them during breakfast. (e.g. extra toilet paper)

The staff were wonderful and always welcoming each morning when organising our breakfast, and always happy to help. Was nice to have a pool to take a dip in at the end of a busy day sightseeing or lounging on one of the public beaches. Mont Choisy was by far the best anc just a 25-30 minute walk. Bed was nice and firm (I like that, less so the wife)

It will take about an hour to get to Grand Baie to connect with local buses, but using buses to get around is also easier enough. Give yourselves time to wait around a little though. We rented a scooter/moped to go about some sights, as it is a bit isolated. Particularly if coming back late at night.

Great place and the host is excellent! We were surprised to have breakfast included and because we went diving early each morning we stopped by the host's brothers' bakery each morning. The whole family is friendly and kind. The place has access to a nice sized pool, and several beaches are really close by. We really enjoyed our stay

The apartment is nice, comfortable bed, two air conditioning and a swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious! Fresh baked croissants every morning! The personal service was really friendly too.

It wasn't really what we were expecting... Not views at all to the sea, all the views are to the swimming pool. Fridge was disconnected when we arrived and it took more than 24 hours to refrigerate properly. Kitchen needed important things like a proper knife to cook, proper pan, washing up liquid... One of the air conditioning start dropping water in the middle of the night and we had to close it... Terrace was always flooded of water... It needs a bit of upgrade for the price it is.

We loved the pool, AC in the room was great too. The staff here were really friendly, polite and helpful, and had a great knowledge of the area, and recommendations for everything from transport to restaurants and nightlife. Sunset views from the roof were beautiful - and you could see all the fireworks from here on New Years eve!

While we really enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that certainly could have been better and would have made such a difference to our trip. Three things in particular stand out - 1) The breakfast is included, but it is a very small breakfast and the choice is the same everyday (one pastry per person, dry toast with a small amount of spread and jam, a small bit of fruit and tea/coffee/juice) - they have a large kitchen and yet this is all that is offered which is a little disappointing. 2) While there is free WiFi included, it was temperamental and cannot be used within the privacy of your room - of course it is nice to disconnect but it wasn't great having to stand outside the door to your room if you wanted to use the WiFi. 3.) We stayed in Lotus Room B for 11 nights, and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Both of us woke up with back ache in the morning on most days, and later realised the mattress had been propped up by some wood. Other than this, it is worth mentioning that while it is in a good location, we would strongly recommend you hire a car - in advance if possible, particularly during peak season (around Christmas). Buses to Grand Baie are cheap and regular, however the nearest stop is on the main road about 10-15 minutes walk. The nearest public beach is Mont Choisy which is a good half an hour walk also.. worth bearing in mind.
