Este es un lujoso, tranquilo, amplio y espacioso apartamento en el primer piso, que forma parte del popular complejo turístico Monte Dourado en el centro de Carvoeiro, literalmente a un par de minutos a pie de la icónica playa, fabulosos restaurantes y tiendas. Ocupando una de las mejores posiciones en la cima de la colina, el salón, el dormitorio principal, la terraza y la fabulosa terraza privada amueblada (60 metros cuadrados) tienen maravillosas vistas al mar. Después de una renovación significativa (nueva cocina adicional que se instalará en noviembre de 2019), el piso se beneficia de baños modernos, aire acondicionado / calefacción / calefacción de agua solar, azulejos nuevos y muebles nuevos.
También hemos instalado nuestro propio sistema wifi (no compartido con otros apartamentos Monte Dourado), para garantizar velocidades de banda ancha súper rápidas para nuestros huéspedes, en todo momento.

From the moment you drive into Carvoeiro you can sense you've picked the most picturesque Algarve city to stay. This property added immeasurably to our 8 wandering days. Modern kitchen was well outfitted to meet every need. Baths and beds were clean, modern and spotless. No rental "nicks and scratches" in this wonderful place. Both the balcony and the roof top deck stole the show, many hours spent whiling away gazing at the ocean or quiet village below. Easy albeit it very hilly walk to town, the apartment is within walking distance of most local restaurants (and their are some god ones.) While there was a local grocery in Carvoeiro, we found that a trip to close by Apolónia Supermercados provided the basics and luxury items. The apartment provides easy walking access to many great coastal hikes and a short drive to some of the most famous hikes in the Algarve. I can't imagine staying anywhere else for an Algarve holiday!

We stayed at this lovely place for a week. The hills to get back up from the center of town are not for the faint of heart but a quick taxi ride is always available if needed. That said, the views are spectacular and worth it. The unit was clean and very comfortable and the resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This property is fabulous. My wife and I stayed for 6 nights at the height of the summer season. The apartment was large enough for four to six. The kitchen was well equipped, clean and well set up. The washing machine worked wonders and the porch was large enough for a drying rack to be set up with room to eat at the outside table and relax and watch the sunrise/sunset. Clothes dried really fast. The air conditioning works really well despite the elevated temperatures of late August. The check in and check out procedure were easy and the property company was able to set up outings that were enjoyable. It is only a short walk down the shops and markets in the town. One word of warning, the hill that this property tops is no joke... even the twenty somethings would take breaks while hiking back up the hill. The pools were terrrific and offered a break from the heat and were clearly loved by the kids. We loved our stay so much we are looking to become owners of an apartment in the Monte Dourado development (it's location is not nearly as nice as this one though).

This is a well taken care of property and the owner has covered off all yours needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Great view of the sea from the balcony and rooftop deck, it’s across the street from the heated pool, it’s quiet, comfortable and an easy walk to beaches and restaurants. What an enchanting town.

We had a fantastic stay in Monte Dourado - the apartment was just brilliant, in a wonderful complex in Carvoeiro.
The apartment is so well situated, with fantastic views down towards Praia de Carvoeiro. Everything you could need is in the beautifully decorated apartment. The private roof terrace is excellent with large table and comfy chairs, brolly, bbq, and comfy sunbeds, commanding glorious panoramic views of the town. The kitchen is very well stocked with washing machine, dishwasher, cooking utensils etc. The apartment is very comfortable, and the balcony is large with plenty of space for eating out and relaxing whilst overlooking the sea!
The town can be accessed via the road entrance or via stairs down to Restaurant Hill, and you can literally be in the main areas of Carvoeiro within minutes. The town is buzzing with great restaurants and bars, offering a brilliant choice. We had two great meals in the beautiful Villa Medici and visited the new Sky Bar that overlooks the square. There is a huge choice of restaurants, offering everything from high-end fine dining through to takeaway and snacks, so you’ll always be able to find somewhere you like. Just a word of warning - check your bill before paying as we had a few experiences of being overcharged - not at Villa Medici, but at a couple of other venues in town. This can happen anytime, anywhere., so is good practice.
There are loads of things to do in the area - plenty of pretty towns to visit within a short drive, such as Lagos, Alvor, Ferragudo, and loads of beaches nearby, many activities, water parks, shopping. You’ll not be bored!!!
Monte Dourado is a fantastic complex, which is beautifully kept, with multiple swimming pools with loads of sunbeds, tennis courts, lovely gardens and a helpful reception. The gardens and pools are very well maintained. There is no bar or entertainment onsite, which is a huge positive as it keeps the complex quiet and is great for families and couples.

We enjoyed another 10 days staying in this lovely apartment. Top attraction for us is the private roof top terrace where we spend most of the day with a drink in one hand and a kindle in the other. Everything is very clean & comfortable. The walk back up the hill from the town in the evening became a bit of a stumbling block for me this time (ankle osteoarthritis) so we just called Ubers & went to some lovely restaurants further out. Will definitely go back. Thanks Sarah

Great two bedroom, two bath villa with nice balcony and roof top terrace with wonderal ocean views. Nice size for two couples and the pool close by was welcome with the warmer temperatures we experienced. Fresh towels and bedding provided by the complex was nice. The use of the kitchen for many meals was beneficial and the walk to the downtown was handy....a bit of an uphill climb back but that was good exercise! Loved the atmosphere and the people in Carvoeiro. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this villa for anyone wishing to stay on the Algarve.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung genossen. Der Blick auf den Atlantik ist toll. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben die normale Terrsehr genutzt, die Dachterrasse haben wir kaum genutzt, da es zwischendurch sehr windig war und es auch aufwendig ist,Dinge hochzufrieden. Der Ausblick von dort ist aber wirklich toll. Die Kommunikation bezüglich der Wohnung klappte problemlos.

Winter break at Monte Dourado.
I have been to Carvoeiro before so was very aware of the town, its location and amenities. The Monte Dourado complex is one that i wanted to try and was not disappointed. The location is perfect for access into town a long as you don’t mind the steep walk back to the apartment. Our apartment on the complex was in a perfect location for views over the town and to enjoy the sun on the balcony and roof terrace. The apartment was decorated to a high standard and was very comfortable and clean. The host was very helpful and quick to respond should you have any question and made the whole process very easy.

Fab stay in the centre of Carvoeiro
Excellent apartment in a great location with fantastic views from both the balcony and roof terrace. Bright and airy rooms, well decorated with comfortable beds and quiet air conditioning. Fully equipped modern kitchen with all the mod cons that we could want including coffee machine and juicer. Great service from the reception team including check-in and out and efficient maid service. Sarah was a great host and gave us lots of useful information prior to our arrival. Would definitely stay in this apartment again!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment with a truly home feeling. Beach, restaurants and local shops very close by (walking distance). The apartment provides more than is needed for an amazing time with family. The fully furniture terrace with sea view is amazing for a sunset or simply for a delicious grilled dinner!
The communication with Sarah (the Host) it was just perfect! Always available and happy to accommodate our needs.

Just Perfect
Fantastic, well equipped apartment with amazing views down to Carvoeiro beach. We have stayed in a few properties in the area and this tops the list. The private roof terrace is amazing with 360 degree views and perfect for a sunrise coffee or a sundowner BBQ. Monte Dourado is a great little development with a choice of swimming pools and a friendly reception. Overall a great apartment in a great location.

Fabulous apartment - wonderful holiday
We had an amazing 10 days in such a lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need. So we have re-booked already for the same time next year. Comfy beds, good bedlinen, great beach towels, everything in the kitchen you need. Great air-con, fab tv with Netflix and Sky channels. 2 pools are just a step away. It's just a 5 min stroll down to great restaurants and the beach.
The best thing of all is the amazing private roof terrace with gorgeous views of the bay, we spent nearly every day up there just relaxing and reading. Oh and of course and having a couple of sundowners on the balcony. Everything was perfect.

Very comfortable
Stayed here in early December 2018. Very comfortable apartment which felt like home from home. Well equipped and unlike other apartments we have stayed in at Monte Dourado the owners allow access to the roof terrace. Absolutely stunning sea view from the terrace with lovely outdoor furniture. Owners were lovely to deal with through messages. We arrived after dark and it is chilly in the evenings when the sun has gone down. Sarah had very kindly set up the fire ready to be lit. Lovely welcoming gesture! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful clean well equipped property with excellent sea views.
We have just returned from a wonderful week in Portugal staying in this appointment. It was very clean,beautiful decor and furnishings,all you could ever need from a holiday apartment. It was wonderful to watch the sunset and sunrise each day with fabulous sea views. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need including a coffee machine, it was very clean with lots of cutlery. The cleaners came in twice while we were there ,did a great job and changed all the bath towels. Both bedrooms were good sized with lots of storage,and the bathrooms were spacious modern with powerful showers and plenty of hot water. Outside had everything you could want to have a lazy afternoon just sitting or lounging about with a glass of wine, on the modern comfortable sun beds. The whole apartment clearly reflects the love and care the owners put into it. Nice modern comfortable furniture and fittings. The outside complex on a whole was well looked after and the check in staff were friendly and helpful. All in all I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who likes a comfortable, modern beautiful apartment to stay in. It’s got everything you need for a fabulous holiday.

Fabulous apartment in the most beautiful location
The apartment was beautiful. It was well equipped, clean and had the most stunning sea views.The beds were comfortable, the two bathrooms both had lovely powerful showers.
The roof terrace was just lovely. We used the barbecue on the roof and had a fabulous evening.
The restaurants were as amazing as we rembered from our visit to Carvoeiro last year. (They were very helpful in catering for a Coeliac diet!)
I would most definitely recommend visiting Carvoeiro and have absolutely no reservations in recommending staying in this lovely apartment. The owner Sarah was very prompt in responding to any questions we had prior to our stay. We had a lovely week.

This is our third visit to Monte Dourado & this apartment was the best of them. Clean, very well presented & everything you need from a home away from home. There is nothing could fault about this property perfect roof terrace for sunbathing & a two min stroll to the main pool. Sarah & Laurence you should be very proud of what you have (we only wish it was ours haha). We will definitely return 😍

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. Lovely balcony and views. The roof terrace was dirty and had takeaway boxes left from previous occupants, also something was banging (perhaps the lights against the barrier?) up there at night when it was windy. The pools are lovely and the complex is well maintained. I'd be very happy to come back!
