Acerca de este alojamiento vacacional
Historic detached cottage, on the banks of the River Severn Nr Upton & Malvern
The Three Counties Show Ground, a solo 4 millas de distancia, también alberga muchos eventos anuales conocidos.

Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn!
The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter.
As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel of some sort which worried me slightly but no one suffered any ill effects.
We would happily return to enjoy this beautiful spot again.

Enjoyed a short break with family, fantastic location right on the banks of the river. Lots to do within a short drive of the property. Would definitely recommend.

Location, wow - beautiful vistas, lovely gardens, lovely cottage. Inside is also very nice indeed, well appointed and comfortable - only negative there was that there was a bit of a paraffin smell near the boiler, not sure if there had been a spillage. Otherwise great and extremely convenient for the RHS show.
We cooked, we BBQd, we ate on the deck, we watch the wildlife. Alpaca farm is a short walk and was a lovely little trip for brekkie and animal watching.
We will be back! Thanks Alison :)

The location of the property is amazing, right on the bank of the River Severn which meant the television was never turned on.
This historic house is spacious, there was seven of us staying, a great layout and very comfy.
Our host Alison provided great communication, made sure we had arrived OK and that all was well upon our arrival.
The house was clean and homely with a lovely surprise of a cake and milk in the fridge.
If you're looking for a peaceful break in a stunning location then we would highly recommend it.

Bank Cottage is ideal for a relaxing holiday. I spent all week fishing very successfully and the wife was more than happy to relax in the comfortable cottage and peaceful surroundings. A perfect week for both of us.

This is a lovely location, looking right over the river. It would have been much nicer if the weather was better when we were there! The communication from the owner was very good, and they were kind enough to leave a cake. A couple of slight glitches - a slow leak to the toilet, and the blind in the triple bedroom was broken and so we had to hook it up, but all most enjoyable. We'd come again.

This stay has been long awaited and did not disappoint. The setting is idyllic ( I love the River Severn). Well over 50 kingfisher sightings plus cormorants, herons, buzzards, swans etc. No fish for us this time, but it's called fishing, not catching!
Alison could not have been more thoughtful and even left a cake for my birthday.

Upon arrival at the property we were blown away by the location and the view. Within 5-10 minutes of being sat outside we saw kingfishers flying upstream ( this became a regular occurrence throughout our stay).
As the weather was very hot while we were there the fishing was very slow through the day but if you make the effort and get up early you will be rewarded with much better fishing. We caught Bream, pike, perch, roach, bleak and chub.
Would definitely return at a later date and highly recommend.

This is a marvellous, well equipped property, right on the river with a pleasant walking route (not long) along the riverbank to the North. It is a short drive to Great Malvern and the Malvern Hills and there is a good choice of nearby options to eat out. The cottage is warm and very comfortable - and I recommend it if you're looking for pleasant, relaxing accommodation close to the Malverns.

Beautiful location
We had a lovely short break with friends at Bank Cottage. On arriving we were worried about being cold as the place was freezing but once we got the central heating on and lit the wood burner the place was very warm and comfortable. The welcome cake was a lovely bonus. Enjoyed watching the birds and walking.

Had a fantastic winter getaway at banks cottage!
Our family spent 10 days at banks cottage in the middle of January for a winter getaway from London. Firstly the cottage is really beautiful and clean and is equipped with everything you need. As you can imagine is was freezing that time of year but the cottage was nice and toasty with the fire place and central heating going! The surrounding countryside was full of wildlife and my son enjoyed some great fishing right outside the cottage. Also some great walks nearby and lots of pubs within short driving distance. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks again Alison

Great New Year's Break
From the minute we booked the cottage, the communication from the owner was great. On arrival small messages and cake were left (along with the essentials) which was a great surprise. Small things made the difference, such as pre lining the baking trays. On departure, the owners checked to make sure everything was ok too. We had a great stay with amazing views in a very quiet secluded location. Many thanks for a relaxing stay and great start to the new year!

Peaceful fishing break in tranquil setting
Beautiful riverside cottage in picturesque location on the banks of the Severn. The host, Alison, was very welcoming and informative, making the holiday a relaxing experience. The cottage is very well equipped and ideally suited for the angler or outdoor enthusiast. Ideally placed for exploring the Malvern hills or going further afield but there are short walks nearby and an abundance of wildlife can be seen from the cottage

A great long weekend spent at Bank Cottage. Great location with lots of private fishing. The property itself is very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Excellent location with great fishing from the garden. Lovely views of the river from one of the sitting rooms and breakfast area. Log burning fire with free wood for when it's cold was a bonus. The house has everything you need for self catering including utensils and crockery. Tea and coffee was provided along with an amazing cake as a welcome gift. Communication with the owner was great and we were made to feel at home from the off. The grounds the house sits in are lovely and well maintained. We loved our break here and would definitely return.

Relaxing break
Great location right on the river. Spacious accommodation with amazing views over the river to watch the sunrise and sunset. Large secure garden for the children to play in. Fishing good plenty bream, roach and perch. So relaxing sat out watching the boats go by. Easy drive to Great Malvern and Upton on Severn. Glorious weather all week. Visited Tewkesbury and saw the elephant sculptures - the children loved them. Thankyou Alison

Lovely little cottage for a short getaway
Me and my friends were looking for an isolated property in the country so we could get away from the hassles of work and COVID and this cottage Alison has lived up to that billing!
It was incredibly clean and presented when we arrived and was easy to maintain! A very homely cottage that did feel like a second home for us.
The location was lovely with a short drive / taxi to the city of Worcester and a good selection of pubs on offer which were walking distance! Overall a very lovely place which we may soon come back to.
Alison also left us a lovely welcome surprise and was easy to get in touch if we had any questions about the property! A very lovely host.
Would 100% recommend 😊

Spacious, Gorgeous and Tranquil
This is a beautiful large Cottage. Everything that may be needed (and more) was thoughtfully provided by the Owner Alison, plus a lovely welcoming gift on arrival, much appreciated. Very clean and comfortable. (Even electric fans are available in case they should be needed). The garden is big and secure. Immediately outside the garden is a pleasant path, which is ideal for walking dogs. The river runs just beyond this, and lovely for watching boats cruising along. Fishing can also be enjoyed from a private mooring. A perfect and relaxing holiday.

Incredible location ...
Wow what an amazing house right on the banks of the River Severn. Great dog walks from the front of the house and the enclosed garden ensured Biccie and Jim had the holiday of their lives. It is so quiet and peaceful, nature lovers will adore it - plus a lovely log fire in the evenings too so it was super cosy. There was just the two of us plus two doggies but you could take a large family here as there are two lounges and loads of outdoor seating too. Thanks to Alison for all the communication leading up to our arrival. We rented a boat from Upton Marina which was great as we then went as far as the house by river too - great morning's adventure.

Short stay
Such a beautiful place to stay. The children loved watching the boats go by, and a family of swans cake to say hello! Aside from the beautiful scenery, the cottage was immaculate, and the communication from the owner, Alison, was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble! I would definitely stay again.

A safe fishing getaway from coronovirus
We found this property whilst looking for a fishing break for my son and I that was by the River Severn and as virus safe as possible, for the wife and I as we have been and are to a greater part isolating due to age and health. The wife having been coaxed along as chief cook etc she was extremely Pleased to see and feel as safe as we did , away from our home with fishing for me and our eldest son.
Wow what a great time chilling out, made up meals from our local butcher, no need to shop, fantastic scenery and wild life activity, really looking forward to coming back when the country is in better times.
We will definitely be booking next year virus or no virus.

Spacious, Gorgeous and Tranquil
This is an absolutely beautiful Country Cottage. Everything well thought out and equipped by a very friendly and genuine caring person. Alison clearly delights in guests feeling very much at home and enjoying the Cottage and surroundings. So comfortable. Private Fishing just outside. A beautiful river-side walk just outside too, which was great for dog walking. You will certainly not be disappointed in any way. We have booked to come her again next year. Thank you Alison for being so helpful. Kindest thoughts, Chris & Derek and dogs x

Lovely place
We had a great week here in Sept/Oct. Really nice to have the extra lounge - we used the front one in the day and switched to the cosy lounge with the log burner in the evening. Despite the dodgy weather we spent time sitting outside as soon as the sun came out. Lovely to watch the various little birds fitting about on the feeders. Would certainly stay again.

Lovely, Spacious Cottage – Ideal Location for the Fisherman
Just the two of us enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week at Bank Cottage and after reading reviews from previous guests, we were delighted to find that it most definitely did live up to everything (and more), that we had expected and hoped for.
Primarily chosen for its wonderful location and easy access to the River Severn, Bank Cottage is a fisherman’s dream. The fishing all week, was excellent and being able to just nip out of the door early in the morning and watch the sun rise over the water, whilst catching a variety of decent sized fish, (including a personal best 10lb 12oz Barbel - on a float rod), was just heaven.
The cottage itself, is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable and the garden / balcony area is the ideal spot for relaxing and taking in the beautiful sights of the river, birds, horses and wildlife.
We have already made bookings for further stays and are looking forward to return visits to this lovely, historic cottage and peaceful surroundings.
We would recommend this property, so thank you Alison.

A really lovely cottage and if you like fishing it’s perfect, but mind it’s very deep 12’ to 15’. Local pubs serve good food & ale. I can recommend Bank Cottage for a great holiday
