perfect accommodation for a short visit to the city ... can't fault it ... taxi dropped us at torres del serrans on arrival in the city centre ... short 5 minute stroll to apartment ... host was flexible with the check-in time ... did not have any issues with street noise ... would recommend highly ... host kindly booked a taxi for our early morning departure ... 10/10 ... thanks juan

The property is in a perfect location for exploring Valencia. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. I loved the balcony which is over a very busy tourist street. There is a lot of noise at night. We live downtown in a large city and we are used to noise. It did not interrupt our sleep much but there is a constant hum of noise, talking, etc until 4am on weekends. On Sunday I thought the Church processional was happening in the bedroom. We loved the spot but be prepared for noise at night and garbage trucks, cleaning, etc in the morning. The stairs up a couple flights are also steep and narrow so be aware if you have any mobility issue or heavy luggage that may be an issue.

This apartment is homey and comfortable. Juan was easy to communicate with and kindly left oranges and wine for us. Everything was well stocked and thoughtfully arranged. The only downside was the bar noise from the street at night. It was easily managed with ear plugs...that were provided!

The flat was so easy to walk from in the historic center of Valencia. So many sights and restaurants in close proximity. Unexpected bonus was the balcony giving us a front row seat to the parade of neighbors and bands celebrating the Falla Festival. We had an issue with the refrigerator not getting cold. Juan called a repair person immediately and had a new one brought in and made an additional gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. It was great customer service.

My wife and I enjoyed four nights in this beautiful historic apartment. The apartment was spacious and we loved the charm. It was in a perfect location, close to so many of Valencia’s famous sites.

Valencia is a hard city to navigate if you’re not a local. We got lost and Juan met us at our car so we could follow him to the apartment where he spent time identifying places of interest in this amazing city. He was an excellent host. The apartment itself is gorgeous and well stocked. It’s Lso an excellent location close to everything. Would highly recommend.

The apartment was everything that we had hoped for based on the listing and could not have been better located to explore both Valencia's old town and the wider area around Valencia.

The apartment was a great location for sightseeing. It was in a busy location though so there was quite a bit of noise in the night because of Fallas etc. We didn’t mind because it was a central location but if you want a quiet spot, this isn’t the right place for you. The amenities were as advertised and everything worked without a problem - shower and bathroom had good water pressure, coffee maker worked, Wi-Fi was strong , laundry machine was all good. We stayed 10 days and enjoyed it.

This beautiful apartment is in a fantastic location, embedded in the historic old city center. We had a wonderful time experiencing the sites, sounds, and tastes of Valencia.
Speaking of sounds, the street noise seems to come from everywhere, bouncing around the old streets and alleyways and in thru the windows! I found this very quaint and endearing, as the city enveloped around us. Some might find this annoying.
The apartment itself is a joy to experience! Very roomy for a couple, or small family, or a few friends. The beds were very comfortable as well as the bedding.
Juan and his wife, Raquel were very helpful and even arranged for our transportation back to the train station!
All in all, Valencia and this lovely apartment opened its arms to us and we fell right in!

Loved our stay at this apartment in Old Town Valencia. Excellent location for wondering the streets and tapas bars, a short walk from the Cathedral and the Central Market. The area does get busy at night but it all adds to the charm. The apartment was exactly as listed, full of old features, beautiful high ceilings and wonderful old wooden shutters.
Juan met us on our arrival even though it was 8pm on a Saturday night and gave us a map and orientated us for our stay. He also kindly arranged a taxi to the airport on our departure. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Apartment was centrally located and comfortable. Host was very kind and accommodating. We arrived late due to transport challenges and the host met us at the apartment and stayed to provide tips on places to visit and places to eat. The apartment was beautiful spacious and our host prepped it with items for our 3 year old (blocks, stuffed animals, bath toys, baby shampoo and children’s utensils. It was very thoughtful and appreciated. Our son was very excited!

The old city is very noise at all times of the day and night because of the tall buildings on narrow streets and their echoing effect. As well, what makes this apartment so interesting is its 18th century features. However this also means that there is no soundproofing. We are a retired couple, and we did sleep. Perhaps light sleepers would have some difficulty.

Juan is a very friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. I would recommend this apartment over any hotel I have stayed at in the city previously and will return.

We spent one week in the apartment in Valencia in July 2021. The owner was the perfect host: waited for us, gave all instructions, always available to communicate. The apartment dates back to Victorian era but is very functional yet romantic. A perfect mix of old world charm with modern times amenities. We loved everything! We also had a bottle of white wine waiting for us in the refrigerator upon arrival!! This is TRUE hospitality! We will return! Muchas gracias Juan!!

A romantic 1850 apartment in medieval Valencia
We spent one week in the apartment in Valencia in July 2021. The owner was the perfect host: waited for us, gave all instructions, always available to communicate. The apartment dates back to Victorian era but is very functional yet romantic. A perfect mix of old world charm with modern times amenities. We loved everything! Amazing apartment with tons of character in the heart of the old city
It's a great apartment in the middle of the old city. Everything was within ten minutes walking. Kitchen was adorable, but the windows were amazing and all the exposed brick and beams--not to mention the mural on the ceiling in the bedroom.
Only downsides--the noise could be annoying to some people, but we didn't find it so. The second bedroom does not have a wall that goes all the way up to the ceiling (like 15 feet), so there would not be much privacy if it was two couples renting the place. But perfect for a couple and kids.

incredible location and super clean
steps from everything. literally steps. very charming place and comfortable for a family. host was incredibly helpful. sometimes loud late at night but its what you get for being right in the center. just download a white noise app. beds and bathroom comfy and kitchen fully equipped including washing machine.

Perfect Valencia Location
Loved our stay in this Old City Valencia apartment. Really appreciated how responsive Juan was answering messages promptly and making sure we had all the information needed. The apartment was historical and charming, very clean. Had all the modern amenities we needed, and loved the two large balconies for morning coffee and evening wine & people watching. Perfect walkable location to all the great parts of the city. Neighborhood with lots of nightlife - a bit loud late at night, but didn’t bother us too much or change our experience. Would stay again and recommend!

A perfect location in the heart of old Valencia.
Apartment is roomy and airy with 12 foot ceilings. Lots of windows overlooking a charming street. Owners were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching both tourists and locals enjoy the city. Great restaurants only steps away. Especially handy was the bike rental shop next door. Biking on the turia greenbelt was wonderful. And it was easy to continue on to the beautiful beaches. Our time in Valencia and this apartment was the highlight of our trip.

Great Weekend in Valencia
I would highly recommend this cute apartment located in old town. It is close to everything and the longest I had to walk to see the sights was 7 minutes. It's in a very safe neighborhood, if a little loud, but it's the price to pay to stay right in old town. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. My train got in before check-in and they were amiable to me leaving luggage as I went sightseeing. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was great.
The apartment was cozy and charming. The location was great. It had everything for a comfortable stay. Juan was very helpful and took his time with us. When we arrived there was fruit, water and wine. The only down side (if you are a light sleeper) that by the bedroom window the garbage pick/drop off up during the night was very loud. But it didn’t ruined the experience and I would highly recommend the apartment!

My two children and I rented this apartment for our two night stay in Valencia. We loved it. The apartment is right in the heart of Old Valencia and surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The apartment itself had great character and a very comfortable living room. We loved the classic old world feel to the apartment. The air conditioning was helpful as Valencia was hot! Juan was excellent at communicating with us and ensured we got checked in ok. One note - it will likely be noisy at night as there seems to be garbage pick up around 2AM right outside the main bedroom and you are right in the heart of the old town. However we knew that going in and the location was worth it. Juan was also very prompt returning our damage deposit. We would stay here again!
