A wonderful well appointed and equipped house with fantastic outdoor facilities. Property manager and owners were very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Location was quiet with an amazing view.

An amazing villa, with spectacular views. Every detail had been considered, so well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous pool.Lucy and Simon were so helpful with a couple of little issues( not their fault). Thank you.

We (4 adults, 3 children) stayed at the villa for a week and it more than met our expectations. The villa was spacious, clean and very well equipped. Lucy and Simon who look after the villa were really helpful with information and recommendations. Everyone loved the large swimming pool and the views are amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a great 11 day stay. The Villa had everything we needed. Lots of shaded areas and a nice breeze. Lots of different areas to gather as a family or go and get some piece and quiet. Pool was great and the views are spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend

The villa was perfect for us, we came in a family holiday with 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space for us all. The pool was perfect for children and the outdoor seating areas and the views really made it. The villa was well equipped with everything you could possibly need and all instructions and check in process was really easy.
The only downside was the local taverna was shut when we stayed but this is to no fault of the owners/ managers who went above and beyond to arrange the free meal at a great restaurant in town. Would recommend to any group or family.

I can only describe our stay as amazing! What a beautiful house with stunning views. Communication with the host was very good. They replied so quickly, answered our many questions and made really good recommendations. The house has everything you need and the kids (and adults) loved the pool. Hours of fun in the pool! We were 2 families and everyone had enough space, the house and outside area really is nice and spacious. You do need a car if you are planning on going down to Nidri. It was such a quick drive down and Nidri has lots of bakeries, restaurants and shops.
We definitely recommend this house!!

Wonderful stay at Villa Helidona
The villa was exactly as described in listing. A good location above Nidri, on the road but very minor so not an issue. The villa is a family house so well equipped and helpfully had left essentials and welcome items. The bedrooms were all of a resonable size. We loved the table tennis table and much fun was had by all both there and in the pool. Lots of places to sit outside both on the sun but also nice and shady as was very hot. Loses the sun in the early evening. Loved being so close to Nidri as easy to pop into town for watersports, shopping etc. All in all a great stay and Lucy very responsive although we never actually met. Would recommend Villa Helidona.

Amazing villa - exactly as described and perfect for an extended family
When you book a villa you assume the reality won't be quite as good as the pictures on the site - not in this case. The villa and local area is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. The managers were happy to answer questions in advance of our stay and organised some local activities - a private boat cruise and somewhere to go after checkout on the last day! All quickly arranged at a very reasonable cost. As suggested by the location you do definitely need a car to get out and about but the parking for 2 cars was fine.
We were an extended family aged 13-83 and the villa was exactly what we needed with different areas to sit in both sun and shade, together and more privately. The pool is a fantastic size and was well used in the August heat.
Having no bathroom door on the main bedroom was quirky but that is the best view from a toilet I have ever had!
Overall an amazing villa, exactly as described, what more could you want.

Good to be back!
Another lovely time at Helidona. Third time back and we love it, Sadly other people seem to have discovered Lefkas, so a bit busier than it used to be!
Very well equipped kitchen and lovely new garden table, and no wasps, so a very relaxing stay, thankyou!

Beautiful Villa!
We stayed for my wife’s 50th birthday with family and we all really loved the villa! The outside space was excellent - everyone loved the pool and the outside dinning and lounge areas worked really well.
The villa was really well equipped and the bedrooms were good - the downstairs bedroom was a godsend as I was there with a broken foot! The food locally was excellent with some good restaurants in Nidri, and down the road was Dimitris which we visited many times. Dimitri was brilliant with me, as I came down to the restaurant in my wheelchair and at the end of the evening either Dimitri or his sister would give me a lift back up to the villa whilst everyone else walked back (as pushing a wheelchair back up that hill would have been a nightmare!).
The villa management were also superb - Simon and Lucy - and we actually met Lucy and family down by Horizon Watersports one day!
We had a lot of questions and were looking for help with things locally for various reasons, and Lucy was amazing at helping us to arrange lots of things and help when I had problems with my foot. Thank you so much for your help!! Lucy definitely went above and beyond the call of duty!
We had a really brilliant and relaxing holiday and Villa Helidona and would definitely come again.
The one thing that we felt was a significant isssue though was the parking a the villa. We had a mini bus and a small car. The lay-by space was just about OK for the small car, but the “garage” space was very tight for a mini bus and you would have struggled to get more than one car into that space. As a property for 10 people, I would expect 3 cars for that sort of group size and I think we would have really struggled with that, which was our original plan before I broke my foot and we had to go for the mini bus option instead.

Lovely well equiped family home. The property has everything needed for a relaxing holiday.
We were delighted with the property and the views from the terrace are fantastic. Although a car is essential to get to shops, restaurants, beaches etc; nearby Nidri had everything we needed. We enjoyed the activities at Horizon watersports; paddleboarding, sailing and windsurfing. We also took a tourist boat tour to explore some of the fantastic beaches of Lefkada, Ithaca, Sparti and so on. The children in our party loved the pool and table tennis at the villa as did the adults. We would heartily recommend this villa. Thank you.

Beautiful villa!
We had an amazing week in the villa. It is a beautiful building, with more than enough space inside and out. The outside dining area and sofas in particular were fantastic.
Could not recommend this villa enough. Also thanks to Lucy who we were able to contact throughout our stay- very quick to reply and extremely helpful.
Thank you!!

Perfect accommodation
The Villa Helidona is fantastic! It has a wonderful sea view and a great swimming pool. There's also a barbecue. In the house you can find everything you need - it's really perfectly accommodated. The villa is very spacious - there's a lot of place for everybody and everything. In the kitchen you can find all you can imagine. We spent 8 unforgettable days at the Villa Helidona. We only had an issue with the water supply for a couple of days but it was a problem with the general supply that hadn't to do with our hosts.

Fantastic villa, fantastic views
This villa is really spacious. Rooms are big and there are lots of them. The main bedroom upstairs is really cool with it's own shower, wc and a private sun terrace! There are many terraces and and a superb view. Lots of sunbeds and many tables and sofas.
Everything was clean and nice. Pool is big enough. The kitchen is large and very well equipped(With an ice cube maker!)
And it's only ten minutes drive to a natural waterfall swimming pool!
And there were very helpful guys (Simon and Simon:) to guide you if needed.
It's a perfect destination for a family vacation and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to chilled out holiday.

Excellent villa with great views
Great villa with plenty of space inside and out. Very peaceful but not too far by car to local facilities, beaches and many tavernas. But with great kitchen, dining and sun bathing terraces, lovely pool and table tennis no need to wander far if you don't want to. Lots of nice touches, well looked after while there, have stayed before and hope to stay again.

Modern villa with maginificent views
We stayed here for a family celebration. This villa is fantastic.
It has an amazing kitchen with all the mod cons you could possibly ask for. All our meals were taken out on the covered verandah where you can soak up the panoramic views. The views are also seen from the swimming pool.
The owners supply plenty of information about places to visit, and interesting walks to go on. There is also the local taverna serving very tasty meals and a bar, both a short walk away.
This very well maintained, clean villa is definitely to be recomended and we are looking forward to a return trip soon.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY
WE LOVED OUR STAY AT THIS VILLA AS IT IS IN AN EXCELLENT POSITION WITH STUNNING VIEWS DOWN TOWARDS THE SEA AND THE ISLANDS BEYOND.THE VILLA ITSELF WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE DESCRIPTION AND EVERYTHING IS OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD,REALLY WELL MAINTAINED AND PRESENTED.NOTHING ABOUT THE VILLA DISAPPOINTED US AND WE WOULD MOST CERTAINLY CHOOSE TO VISIT AGAIN.

Well designed stone villa with beautiful views across hills, islands and the sea. Good comfortable rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Delightful pool and patio with room for all guests. Table tennis table too. Easy access to Nidri. Traditional Greek taverna is a short walk away. What's not to like?
