Bed was comfortable but leans to one side. Not much room for parking a truck but we made it work.

We were able to "check in" early via door code sent to us via text message and email. So convenient and easy!

Location was great. The view was Amazing and relaxing. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked. Debbie was great answering all my questions. We will definitely recommend this cabin to all my family and friends.

Maybe more toilet paper. We had 2 roles for 4 people for 4 days. We had to buy some.

This is the cutest cabin! Even though it’s just up above the main road (on a hillside, covered with pine trees and facing a golf course), it’s very quite and seems very private. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and has a great deck with lovely grill. From the deck there are beautiful views with trees everywhere and mountains in the distance. The inside is comfortable, well equipped, and has a nice TV with satellite. Not that you’ll want to be inside! We went in the summer and the deer would walk right up to the cabin - two different does with fawns! One had twins. An elk came to visit and the horses wandered the golf course. Don’t miss the shopping in town, the hiking trails, and we really enjoyed Fort Stanton.

Ruidoso was hit hard economically during the pandemic. Many of the restaurants are on limited hours given their short staff or have closed completely. If you want to eat in town, be prepared to wait. Breakfast and lunch are easier to find as most restaurants were closed after 5.
