Very well equipped and well maintained apartment. Decent sized bedrooms and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Kitchen had everything you need. Location was great, close to good restaurants and 10 minutes walk to Morrisons. Car parking on site is so convenient. Good WiFi, nice TV and comfortable sofas - not that we spent a lot of time sitting as there is so much to do in the area . Key collection etc was very efficient and easy. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Mattress was a little tired. The apartment is on the corner of two roads, one residential and the other more of a through town road, so there was some traffic noise in the morning. Very quiet at night. Didn't bother us but some may be disturbed by it.

Bed linen and pillows really poor quality. As it was beginning of December Christmas pary's were taking place so very noisy. Unfortunately also witnessed awful fighting outside of apartment at 2 am.

The size of the property especially the 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were a bonus Also, the location and cleanliness. Ample Kitchen utensils etc.

No upfront info given provided re access to property. Needed to contact company several times. Attention to detail in the property, curtains hanging from the rail - the hooks were even left on the dresser but no-one bothered to replace hem. Beware - the front of the middles drawers on the lounge unit come right off in your hand - needs to be fixed immediately. HOWEVER THE MAIN ISUUE WAS THAT THE FRIDGE WAS NOT WORKING AND OBVIOUSLY HADNT BEEN FOR SOMETIME. WHEN THE ENGINEER FINALLY CAME HE SAID THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I feel for those arriving later today/tomorrow as they won’t be able to keep foods cold. Our milk etc went off !! - Good luck

Convenient location, everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights away. Off street parking space is a bonus and a ground floor apartment suited us after a long walk!

We have a holiday let of our own in Cumbria, so inevitably compared Percy's Place to ours. When we arrived there was a strong smell of gas. We found that one burner on the hob had been left on. We opened the windows, so luckily no harm done. There was food left in the freezer, which needed defrosting. The fridge didn't seem to be working. There was a jar of coffee left for us - but it was nearly empty and the granules had gone hard. The drawers in the living room unit were falling apart - the front came off as soon as we opened them. I would personally top up the soaps so they look full for new guests.
