Lovely one night stay on the way to silverstone GP

Only negative was the display glass unit in room was covered in dirt and so obviously hadn’t been cleaned in months but everything else was 10/10. Also windows need washing and painting desperately

The character of the property and the spacious room plus the amazing shower. The extras, ie two individual bottles of wine along with bottles of water and tea, coffee etc and toiletries were thoughtful. Tim was an excellent host offering the freedom to use the large kitchen at any time.

Cannot think of any criticism.

A lovely find. Breakfast was on the table precisely when we ordered it- tailored exactly to what we'd each requested (and we were a large group). Everything was delicious. The village was lovely to walk round, and beautiful gardens with a hammock to chill in. Wonderful showers and comfy beds. Great complimentary room package. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, unique, quiet, great host and breakfast and nice canal walks in the village.

everything was fantastic

An amazing stay at a beautiful country house in a tiny village, but very close to the M1, which broke up our journey nicely! We had a big comfortable bedroom which was lovely and toasty warm (it was below zero outside!). Fantastic power shower in our private bathroom, and an amazing full English breakfast cooked by Vivi, which was the best we've ever had! Friendly, warm, and comfortable, and fantastic value for money – strongly recommended. This will be our regular stop over now for long journeys.

Nothing I didn't like

Another great stay in the Hollies! The shower in our bedroom is amazing – worth the visit on its own! Tim and Vivi cooked the most amazing English breakfast – eight ingredients and beautifully presented. This time, we had time to explore the lovely patio and garden in the morning. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, warm & comfy, and the little touches were appreciated – shower gel, a complimentary drink, chocolates, etc. We will definitely return to the Hollies next time we come to the UK.

Good stop off place if travelling North and South. Big room and spaces and Internet good enough to do work from.

Booked last minute and check in was difficult. Luckily there were other guests in the place who eventually after a lot of knocking let us in. Not suitable for same day booking.

Lovely place with a very nice owner who goes above and beyond

The breakfast was lovely. The location was good and easy to find.

the property was just perfect modern and very comfortable. we stayed in the triple room that had its own bathroom with the most amazing shower that I have ever had.

A very spacious room with excellent shower facilities and much appreciated large towels, a very comfortable bed and ample storage space. Parking was straightforward. The owner went out of his way to contact me beforehand because he could not be there to greet us on arrival and needed to explain the alternative arrangements, which were fine.

Would have welcomed some explanatory notes regarding the TV because I struggled to get the TV channels.

What a wonderful place to stay! A HUGE bathroom and a really comfy iron bed. All the special touches and awesome contact. Extremely clean, will stay again!

We came here to stay for one night before going to a festival the next day. Our room was glorious, the bathtub was beautiful and a well welcomed preparation before a five day camping and rockin out….. Althoug, the best feature of this stay was the host Tim. He was very kind, super friendly and most helpful in any thinkable way. Thank you, we will see us definitely again!!
