Staff was nice when I interacted with them

Looks nothing like the website Is not maintained at all Smells and has no locking outside keyless entry. It’s open to the public essentially. AC unit and fan do not work Very dusty rooms and a lot of paint missing Just not a nice hotel at all

I think the entry of the hotel could be more inviting. Lobby looked more like a motel. Walking to the room had a little smell probably the carpet. Maybe shampooing the carpet twice a week could help and in the rooms. Lastly, I could hear the people from above me late night. I can also hear the sliding door. I been in a lot of hotels and this is the first time I heard people above me.

Beds were awful. The hotel does not have a convenient setup. The hallways feel like your in The Shining. They smell old, and are very narrow and go on forever. Only one elevator that broke twice while we stayed for a week. Grills caught fire, toilets got clogged. Definitely needs an overhaul but the positives were the views we had, the pool inside and outside, and the hot tub. I was told it's being sold/demolished so I see why it's not the top priority to put money into it. It was clean though, and it was away from big crowds....and the bar right in the hotels pool vicinity outside. Always live music.

Hotel is like navigating through a maze at your local carnival. Maps would have been helpful. It’s supposedly to be a private pool, NOT, they let anyone in the pool that is at the Riptide bar use the pool. My family couldn’t even utilize the pool on Monday June 17th, due to a promotional tent of free alcohol tea that was displayed poolside. Young drunk adults jumping in the pool, drinking their tea, ppl tossing cans of alcohol into the pool, that I paid for and couldn’t utilize until after 5:00 pm when the drunk fest was over. I lost a day at the pool due to this. Walking through the open bar every time you had to exit the pool to get to our rooms. No security at all. The hotel itself has very limited view of ocean and boardwalk. The smell of weed was everywhere, yes I just love the smell of skunk!! My son’s AC didn’t work, they didn’t care. They have three areas of parking, so if you get a good close parking spot, you are stuck there for the duration, or you’ll be walking a block or so. I don’t recommend this hotel, if brining children, due to the bar scene and the language, weed and drinking. It’s definitely for the younger crowd.
