Appartment and views were ideal,close to all facilities and only a 20 mins walk to the train station and 5 mins to various bars and restaurants.Just what we wanted and the weather for September was glorious.

Brilliant accommodation with amazing views over the rio formasa. Attention to detail, everything you needed in the apartment. Resort stunning, with an abundance of lovely restaurants and bars.

We enjoyed staying at this property, it was very comfortable and in a great location. The views from the balcony were beautiful, as was the area nearby. A very short walk to an amazing market and many great restaurants. We will return!

Comfortable modern apartment, great balcony with far reaching views across bay. Walking distance to restaurants of Olhao, which is a lovely local fishing village where you can also get ferries to the barrier beaches. The owner Julia was a pleasure to deal with and very flexible with arrangements.

Excellently located and well equipped property. Great views across the Ria Formosa. Took the gamble and travelled with Covid regulations in place - anti-bac gels provided in the apartment which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend.

property was excellent. however we were aware it was a fishing town and there would be alot of fish on the menu but little choice for non fish eaters. also the local Spar for necessities was closed. however beautiful place. Thanks

The apartmentment was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed both dining inside and sitting on the balcony to enjoy the wonderful view. The location is removed from the hustle and bustle but it is a pleasant walk along the waterfront. We appreciated emailed directions to help guide us to the property and arrangements made to help us check in without a cell phone. We had a very pleasant stay!!!

Easy process and great communication

This is an outstanding apartment with a good view of the National Park (Ria Formosa) and the sea beyond. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and furnished with a comfortable bed which made our stay a delight. Two toilets and a good shower, together with a fully furnished kitchen and a TV with multi channels in english, met almost every need. Olhão is a pleasant town, full of interest, without the overwhelming commercialism of elsewhere. Fabulous beaches (cheaply accessed by ferries to the islands beyond the lagoons) are just 30 minutes away and numerous boat trips are available from the nearby quay. We also enjoyed the balcony of the apartment which catches the afternoon sun and the pool on the top floor of the block which provides this throughout the day. A car is really an asset, with ample parking spaces and two supermarkets - a 2 minute drive away - makes self catering easy. We particularly liked travelling to the towns of Tavira and Silves and use of the toll motorway means any part of the Algarve is reachably easily. Unsurprisingly there is plenty of helpful information in the apartment which easily surpasses the often closed tourist office. Overall a very highly recommended place to stay.

The property is in a fantastic location. Well kept and everything inside for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Hope to revisit.

Good apartment to one end of the seafront with great views of the salt marshes and birdlife. Pleasant flat walk into the centre and to the wonderful daily market (closed Sunday). Very good kitchen, cutlery and crockery a bit sparse but glasses in abundance. Lovely big balcony and there is a rooftop pool should you be there when it's warm enough to enjoy it. The only thing that would stop us going to this property again is the bed. Advertised as a double but was actually two singles made up as two and pushed together and one was a little higher than the other. When the linen was changed we asked for a double duvet cover as there were double duvets in the wardrobe. The other thing was that the bed was very hard, rather like sleeping on a plank but we put the single duvets between the mattress and sheet so that helped. If you like a hard bed and aren't bothered about a double it's a pretty good place to stay. The people we were dealing with were very helpful too which is a big plus. Olhao is a good place to base yourself with plenty to do and more than enough eateries etc even in January.

Everything immaculate in apartment,had everything we needed. Beds are very comfy, loved having two bathrooms, huge balcony and great views, roof top pool never crowded no sun bed run here, short walk from old town and ferries to the islands,will definitely return loved everything

We very much enjoyed our 9 night stay . We have been to Olhao before so are familiar with the area. It provides a wonderful home from home environment with some wonderful views. A small maintenance issue was dealt with in in a timely manner. We had great weather and some lovely food. Hope to go back again next year.

We were met by Stephan who was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is very comfortable with all mod cons and is a short walking distance from the harbour and town. There is a fish,meat and veg market just down the road where we brought fresh food and self catered but there are plenty of restaurants if you prefer to eat out. The TV has more chanels than you could wish for which was great for the two days we had terrible weather and if its impotant to you the WI FI is good. We are avid bird watchers and the view from the balcony was lovely we saw flamingo every day. The roof terrace pool is lovely and a real bonus. We hired bikes for the day and cycled to Fuesta which was lovely, got the Ferry to Armona also lovely and walked for miles. We loved this stay and would definately reccomend it.

We stayed in this property from 11 -17 September. It is in a very modern apartment block with spacious accommation and excellent security and a lift . The view from the large terrace was lovely although the road in front could get busy but not really a problem on the 3rd floor. The apartment was fitted to a high standard and was extremely clean. The owner Julia responded promptly to any queries we had before our arrival. We were able to get a early check in and the meet an greet went smoothly. We didn't have any issues during our stay so hadno need to contact the management company. Olhao is not the most scenic of towns but the harbour which is about 10 mins walk of the apartment has lovely views and is bustling and lively both day and night. Great choice of restaurants serving lovely fish but plenty of choice fo the meat lovers as well. It is also a lot cheaper than other places we have been to in the Algarve as well as being only 15 /20mins from the airport. Vino verde on tap for a large glass at 2 euros at the harbour hard to beat. The locals were also friendly and understand English but also French and Spainish as there were a lot of both nationalities. The train station is approx 15 minute walk and regular ferries to other islands. We went to Armona and views were amazing. There is a Lidl supermarket nearby but the local Pingo Doce near the harbour was more than adequate. A small grocery store a few blocks away has just opened and this was very convenient for small purchases. Would certainly go back to this apartment and also Olhao as I loved the non touristy feel and the morning market had lovely fresh fruit. We didn't hire a car as we have been to a lot of places in the Algarve and it's perfectly possible to do without one.Have stayed in a number of villas/ apartments and find a smallWelcome pack with water, coffee and milk is much appreciated after a early morning flight. As we were tired and thirsty when we arrived it meant to we to go out immediately and look for a supermarket. An information pack is provided by the management company but the guest comment book in the drawer in the lounge gives a lot of valuable insider tips

Great location away from the hustle and bustle brilliant views. Easy to get to other towns ferry, bus and train.

Just returned from a very lovely 11 night stay. The apartment was perfectly situated and had lovely views. Easy access to town by foot and easy to get to a local supermarket. The apartment was very well equipped and spacious. Large TV and good choice of channels. Very quick to get there from Faro and we were met at the apartment and given a guided tour and an explination to how the various appliances worked. Would defo return again as there is so much to do in this beautiful area.

We've had a fabulous time staying in this apartment. Julia has been very helpful & efficient in dealing with any queries we had before we went. On arriving we were met quickly by Hannah who gave us the keys to the apartment & spent time with us explaining how things worked around the place and also about the area and how to find shops, restaurants etc. First thing we did was to have a dip in the rooftop pool which was lovely, plenty sun beds & always quiet. The view up there is fantastic as is the view from the apartment balcony. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, we were even tempted to do a little self catering on a couple of occasions! The bed is rather hard but we managed & maybe some new pillows would be good. Two bathrooms was great to have as they both had basins with good storage underneath. Lounge was a good size with a comfortable suite & big television with DVD player etc. Air con was a blessing especially in the bedroom but it also helped having electric shutters on the windows to keep everywhere cool in the heat of the day. Olhao is 10 mins walk along the front, plenty restaurants & bars but nothing too touristy as it seems to be a town for locals as well to enjoy. Very inexpensive to eat out in comparison to other towns in the Algarve & the people are so friendly & helpful. We didn't hire a car but we still did some sightseeing as the trains are cheap & run to Faro, Tavira etc every hour. We also got the inexpensive ferries over to the nearby islands where the sandy beaches are amazing & the little villages are beautiful. We had really good weather which made the holiday perfect & would definitely return & stay at this apartment again.
