Staff were amazing in this property! They even took the time to learn our names. The collection from the port was also very much appreciated and the motorbike rental was available in the property as well (although we did get a bike with no fuel in it which we only noticed after a couple of mins and had to turn around to a fuel station!). The food in the restaurant was also delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming warmth!!!

We were really looking forward to staying due to all the amazing reviews, however we were surprised to maybe miss something. In the garden bungalow, the aircon unit is extremely loud and we couldn’t leave it on overnight due to the noise which made the room very hot. There is also a lot of noise in the mornings between roosters, cats, music and geckos, I think maybe because the room isn’t so soundproof. The shower was also warm but not quite hot. Overall, we didn’t sleep that well due to these factors and therefore couldn’t quite give the property the high score we expected.

Downstairs restaurant and bar is very popular . Cleanliness: 10/10 - very good for a hostel, bed linen changed every day and new towel provided, the rooms are cleaned multiple times a day by the staff Value for money: 10/10 - For €7/$8 per night it’s extremely good value

Only 1 negative Wifi: 1/10 - Honestly the wifi is so bad, by far the worst ive used in the Philippines. Didnt work for the 3 nights i was there despite each floor having its own router (i tried all 3). All the other travellers i met had the same issue. This issue is made worse in Siquijor specifically because mobile data signal also doesnt work on the island so prepare to be off the grid completely

Echt een mega aanrader om deze te boeken, personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam. Je krijgt meteen een fijn gevoel als je aankomt. De kamer was erg fijn, het rook lekker in de kamer en er was een fijn bed. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet, je krijgt veel meer kwaliteit voor de prijs die je betaald.

La gentillesse du personnel, le lit était très confortable, la chambre était grande et propre. Il y avait une super pression dans la douche. Il y a une jolie terrasse au 2ème étage.

The staff was so nice and really did the extra things to make the stay wonderful. Everyday my bed was made and they were happy to help you with any questions. The restaurant is also very good and affordable. They all knew my name and it started to feel like coming home with how welcoming and sweet they were to me. Would definitely stay again!!

Bit too bright bed lights and bathroom in the room can be bit loud if you sleep close to it (and people in your dorm decide to shower at 1:00 am haha)

Está justo en frente del santuario de Tubod (imprescindible ir). El personal totalmente dispuesto a ayudarte con todo: transfers, alquiler de moto... A muy buen precio. Su restaurante también está muy bien.

We stayed in one of the bungalows just outside of the main building. This meant it was really quiet as we were away from the main road and noise. The restaurant on site was very good value. The staff were really helpful and more than happy to help arrange transport for our onward journey, they gave us many options to choose.

The location is fine if you ride a moped however if you don’t it’s quite a bit out of the way from the main restaurants and nightlife. There are lots of tuk tuks during the day however at night it was harder to find one.

Having backpacked Asia for over 3 months we think this is the best place we’ve stayed as the staff are so lovely and really take the time to get to know you and always call you by your names! My husband and I stayed in a private room which was very spacious and comfortable. The daily maid service was excellent and they didn’t just clean the room but also tidied up our clothes etc!! There was a water cooler outside our room and a restaurant serving delicious food! Pier transfers and tours can also be arranged, ferry tickets bought for you and scooter hire, the location is great, right opposite a marine sanctuary for amazing snorkeling. Thank you very much for a lovely stay!

We stayed at the Beethoven family room. The bedsheets were really soft and the beds comfortable.

The AC was not working properly, like it was just in fan mode, but the big ceiling fan helped make the room cooler.

Staff were amazing here, great location just a short walk to the marine sanctuary. The cleaners were exceptional as well. Very comfy stay.

The people who work here are so friendly and gave you the best experience! Nice and calm hostel with a restaurant downstairs with good food! The crew helped me a lot after I had a motorbike accident! I'm forever grateful and will not forget this one!

Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns das Gefühl von “Zuhause” gegeben. Sie haben sich wirklich um alles gekümmert. Es war sauber und auch unser Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und in Ordnung gebracht. Es gibt ein Restaurant und für die Übernachtungsgäste einen extra Aufenthaltsbereich zum relaxen. Wir konnten uns direkt in der Unterkunft Roller Mieten und so alles schnell erreichen (Restaurants, Wasserfälle, Strände etc.).

The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay! We felt very at home. The dorms were comfortable and cool. We booked a tour of the island through reception and it was fantastic. The food was very tasty and a very reasonable price as well

Staff is super friendly. Rooms have curtains and hot shower (appreciate that in Phili). Lockers and good space for your stuff. Their restaurant is pretty good! Definitely worth staying there :)

The restaurant had an intense smoke smell. Not affecting the rooms at all, but just to mention something negative.

-It was the first time I saw staff in a hostel treating guests like in a hotel or resort. They take care of everything for everyone. They provide ferry schedules and book day trips. They offer transportation and advices. They tell you the prices of activities around and everything with an incredible mood and nice talks. You can tell the manager has been trained in hospitality in a resort. He knows how to take care of his team and everyone is always smiling. -Location is top tier, not directly in the middle of San Juan yet very close and right in front of Tubod Beach and Marine Sanctuary. Coco Gove & Dive is 30 seconds away. There is an eatery next to the hostel, as well as shops. -It’s very cheap, there is the lodging restaurant below with good food. -There provide water and there is a terrace common space (yet nobody hangs out there). -They provide for bedding and towels. Lockers are for small bags (not backpacks/suitcases). Other good things include: -comfy bed -clean room -AC -Amay

I think 12 beds in a room like this is a bit too much… I know it’s cheap but during evenings it’s just too many people moving around in such a small space… I’ve stayed in 12 beds rooms that felt far less crowded than this one. Honestly I don’t know how the first bed can even sleep, right in front the door, toilets and bathrooms. You should create a WhatsApp group that guests can join or not, to go out or find buddies for activities, beach outings etc. Because the mood is completely dead between guests for a hostel

Nos encanto el hotel, muy buena ubicación delante de la playa y a 5-10 minutos en moto de los restaurantes. Además el personal muy amable, se aprendían tu nombre y muy serviciales en todo momento. Limpiaban la habitación cada día.

amazing accomodation! staff are outstandinly friendly, they call you by name from the moment you arrive. very good food! a beach with a marine sanctuary is right around the corner where you can snorkel and see a beautiful underwater world. the private rooms are in a „garden“ a few steps away from the restaurant and dorms. it’s a place where you feel very comfortable and at home. would definitely stay here again.
