Greens is simply a perfect place to relax. A beautiful relaxing oasis with a small pool to cool off, family atmosphere. Not every small detail need to be perfect when the vibe is more than perfect…. I felt like home Do not hesitate to ask the staff for anything, they are around basically 24 hours for you. I definitely recommend this place!

Nice garden with a lovely pool, very friendly staff. The energy inside Greens is something different, very peaceful feeling. Nice area for exercise. Clean and comfortable place. Breakfast is very good. Big dorm with curtains for the bed. This place is so far one of the best places I have visited in Zanzibar.

Very helpful and kind staff, from the managers to the security guard. The place has a peaceful atmosphere (which is not given in Nungwi). We had excellent breakfast every morning.

We had a room with a shared bathroom, and sometimes all common bathrooms were taken.

Very welcoming and relaxing place in the middle of nungwi, it does not feel like a hostel, feels more like coming home to family. Minutes away from main road, supermarket and the beach, perfect location. breakfast was also very good.

Mohammed and Sarah were very nice and attentive, always present and working hard to make sure everything is ok. There is a 24hr Masai security person and location is great with a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. Only the room with shared bathroom was available for us and we were skeptical of it's availability and cleanliness, but it was almost always available and cleaned multiple times a day, that was amazing. Wifi was also good which is apparently uncommon in Zanzibar.

As with even great options, there is always scope for improvements! The place suffered from voltage issues both nights (we were told it's a Zanzibar wide issue in beach locations). Due to this, AC was off for 3-4 hours on first night, and wasn't working for a couple of hours on second night also. But Mohamed stayed awake till voltage improved and AC worked again. Included breakfast was decent but could be improved - more fruits, more than one omelette with at least veggie toppings in it should be there. Also the butter smelled, likely from being kept outside.

This is not my first time staying in Greens and I will definitely be back again. One of the biggest reasons is because of the owner and her staff, it’s amazing how she have been able to create such a family atmosphere between her, the staff and us guests staying there. I really feel like home in Greens. It’s a small quiet oasis in the center of nungwi. Perfect place to meet other people and to relax. Recommend this place 100 percent! Thank you Greens team for accommodating me once again!

The hotel staff Mohammed, Sara were great and helpful. The security guard was very friendly and welcoming. AC was wonderful after a day in the sun at the beach. They kept my bags secure on my last day after checkout without issue. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Location is very central, Sarah, Mohamed and other staff are always very helpfull and friendly, wifi, hot water, nice breakfast, good bed, clean, the garden is like a little oasis....what more can a person need? Especially in this pricerange. All in all i had a great time. Would defenitely recommend 10/10!

Sarah and Mohommed were amazing hosts! So friendly and always so attentive to the needs of the guests, making sure the bathrooms were kept clean and the breakfast was yummy with eggs, crepe and fruits. The beds were comfy and the aircon was great. Great atmosphere and I had so much fun spending New year there. They put on a free bbq for the guests and I think that was such a lovely touch. Thankyou for the amazing stay guys! Would definitely return :)

Some lockers could be nice in the dorm room

Sarah and Mohammed are the best hosts ever. Spent NYE there and had really great time with them. We can totally recommend that place for your stay in nungwi, especially if u wanna connect to other people.
