The location could not be better, overlooking the cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum. Room is small but comfortable, with private bathroom immediately across the hall. Free parking is indeed available but the large lot can be close to full, and it's a brisk 500 m uphill walk back to the room. You should be aware the listing offers a bedroom and bathroom and that's what you get. We paid 56€ for 2 people, no breakfast, in mid-March Although it's an expansive penthouse, there are no common areas open to guests. Breakfast is served in a nice room but we didn't opt for it. We booked at the last minute and the owner was occupied, so she sent us away for a few hours until she was ready for us. Being allowed to wait in a common area would have made this a trivial inconvenience but we had to occupy ourselves elsewhere.

The location is very central with access to attractions. The room was clean and proper.

Hash problems with the owner. At the beginning, we arrived round 11 pm and the owner started to complain for the late hour arrival despite our apologies for the inconvenience. We booked the room without breakfast but the owner tried to convince us to buy the breakfast despite that the contract did not foreseen it. We asked the owner the check out time and he told us normally it should be 11 am, but the day after we could leave at the hour of our preference because the room was not booked for the day after. Following his instruction, we decided to leave the room at 6 pm, but at our return to the room, he locked the room with our belongings inside. After having reached the owner, he told us with rage and strong verbal statement and bad words we should have left the room at 11 am. This was in contrast with what we agreed the night before. He also stated that he has called us three or four times but we did not receive this call. For retrieving our luggage, he obliged us to give him 65 Euros (62 Euro for one night plus 3 Euro city tax) by cash without any ticket or receipt !!! After giving him the money, we retrieve our luggage and we left. The shutters cannot be closed properly, the window is single layer and the room was very noisy. Be careful the parking for cars is not allocated, but it is a common parking of the town (not safeguarded). Despite the perfect location and the reasonable price, we strongly discourage to book this room for avoiding problems with the owner and paying extra money without receipt.
