Die Zimmertüren fallen sehr laut ins Schloss, so dass man durch die Nachbarzimmer immer wieder geweckt wird. Die Waschbecken in den Gemeinschaftsbädern sind zwar schön aber total unpraktisch. Keine Ablagefläche und viel zu schmal.

The Marion is a clean, modern and very well organized hostel with a great vibe. Loved the common rooms and general design of the building. I upgraded last minute to a private room which was pricey but worth it or me having the privacy. Great kitchen and facilities including free tea, coffee and plant based milk! Towels are provided. Washrooms were clean. Staff was very attentive and providing lots of info. Creative space is a nice touch.

I liked the hotel, however, If I had decided on a private room earlier, I might have found something larger with private bathroom at a different hotel... too late to change. And glad I had the experience.

The place was so beautifully designed and clean, the staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home. They offer lots ofcextras like delicious pank cakes for breakfast free of charge, bicicles, board games and so much more. This place is honestly the best back packers in the world.

Curtains on the bed were great for privacy. The decor & artwork all over the hostel was such a great vibe and atmosphere. TV & Chill out spaces were great too.

Some of the staff or volunteers that worked there seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. Sometimes it felt as though you were in their way, even if you weren't.

I was only here for one night and wish I'd been here for longer! A really nice hostel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the communal spaces were large and comfortable. The kitchen was very clean and had everything you'd need including free coffee and tea. There are laundry facilities. The beds are quite pod - like with individual curtains and lights and chargers. Very comfortable. The room is spacious.

The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but still much better than many hostels I've stayed in.

It's been a while since I have stayed in a hostel, sharing a room with others. Considering this fact, the Marion Hostel was a good choice, as I was very well received by "Gui". My room was small, shared with three other travelers. I used a big, complete disabled people bathroom, which was fairly clean the whole time. The bed was good with a personal light and electric outlet

The curtain's of the bunkbed I was in didn't reach the ceiling, so some of the room's light came through this gap, but nothing which could ruined my night of sleep. My room had no views, which is also super OK.

It's clean and spacious everywhere. And modern and fancy decoration just make me recommend this hostel to my friends! I also like the cozy lounges on every floor.

The rooms are spacious, the beds have curtains for more privacy. Kitchen clean and well-equipped.

The hostel is very nice and clean, has everything you need.

I'm a backpacker and love to socialize a bit. The kitchen had a lot of individual, seperate tables which made it hard to socialize. There are not many backpackers staying here and ended up going to other hostels in the evening to be able to meet other people. If you want a nice and quiet stay, definitely go here. If you want to socialize and meet other people you can better book a different hostel.

Staff are really nice and friendly , everything is clean, location is really good

I really liked that there was plunger coffee and millk alternatives (oat). There was also pancakes on the Saturday morning.

The windows only opened a few cm, I like fresh air for sleeping

Staff very welcoming Great location, near to Cuba St & walking distance to big New World supermarket, Basin Reserve, Te Papa museum & airport bus drop off (Courtenay Place). Other sites also within walking distance, but further away include Parliament building & train station. Kitchen facilities excellent & kept clean by both staff & other guests ensuring they cleaned up after themselves. Room had lockable drawer for luggage. Bunk beds have individual lights & power for each person, also shelf behind pillow. Plenty of seating areas both near to kitchen & throughout the building

Room was a bit small, but no other concerns.

everything Wes unbelievably good for a hostel . the whole team made the place run smoothly and exceptionally run in all aspects.

Beautiful interior with lots of wood surfaces, creates cozy atmosphere. Super clean! Kitchen was spacious and organized. Food is neatly inside the cabin. Friendly staff. Rooms also cozy and beautiful. Private power socket next to your bed is very convenient especially when staying in the upper bed. Book this one, you'll love it! 😍

Walls were thin as paper so all loud convo came through.
