Hacienda Sayulita is an incredible experience! We were a group of 16 and none of us had ever stayed at a fantastic place like this before. The house staff were unbelievable- 3 meals per day, gourmet, were cooked and cleaned up. The house was cleaned daily. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean. Our daughter arranged a special celebration dinner with the staff - they even decorated! Most of us are into yoga and the rooftop space in early morning was perfect (we had 2 different yoga people come to us). Before the trip people had planned on doing quite a few extra activities but once we were there it was pretty much the house and the beach. It was an exquisite week!

This property is absolutely stunning. The view, the house layout, the amenities, everything is top notch. One of our favorite vacations and perfect for a group getaway. We traveled with 8 adult couples and everyone had a wonderful experience. Gabriel, the house lead, was the best! Such a great resource for things to do and explore in the area. The food preparation was so nice to have, making our stay even more enjoyable that we could spend our time lounging by the pool and exploring all the fun things Sayulita has to offer. Gabriel helped schedule massages at the house and even a couple of surprises.
I would not recommend the property for young children and would advise to ask about current construction noise in the area.

Everything about this house is awesome!! The location is perfect, the staff is so accommodating, and the house has an ideal layout for large groups. There could be better organization/communication on the pre-trip planning, but once there it was absolutely perfect. Thank you for such a great birthday celebration!!!

Beautiful house that is well maintained. The pool provided hours of fun. The staff was fantastic. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Delicious meals by Chef Santi. Jibran attended to all our needs with a smile. He was always unveiling another treat. If something needed arranging he took care of it. Angeles and Gladis keep the house neat and clean. A first class operation.
The hill to the house is a challenge. Golf cart highly recommended. Beautiful beach is a 10 minute walk. Definitely hot and humid in August, but the pool made it bearable.

We had a very special stay at this property with a large family aged 3 - 71. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable. The property is stunning and the town is charming. This will be a vacation to remember for a long time.

We took our family of 12 to Hacienda Sayulita for a week and had a fabulous time. The house is beautiful with plenty of bedrooms and baths, a downstairs game room and a gorgeous pool with a view that is just stunning. The house staff was so kind and accommodating. Food was delicious. We felt very spoiled! There is a pretty steep hill that you have to travel up and down to get to town. Even the golf carts have trouble getting up with more than a couple people on them. Shayne was a great help in planning a couple different excursions and getting all our questions answered. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

We had a group of 15-20 people from ages 15-80 for a week. The house has great space for everyone to be able to spread out and enjoy themselves. The staff...Jibram, Santiago, Angeles, Glady's and Junior, went above and beyond to make our stay really great. Make sure to rent a golf cart if you have anyone that is not fairly fit. The house is close to town, but the hill is extremely steep.

I cannot say enough about this property. From the stunning views to the amazing staff and everything in between. This home was perfect for our group of 20. The rooms were absolutely stunning. They kept the house immaculate and were always concerned about our needs. The food was absolutely amazing, we wish we would have had them cook for us more, but wanted to try all of the local cuisine as well. The house manager was so helpful and got us reservations. One day, he had a band come in and play for us after breakfast, it was so fun! He was great to get our golf carts delivered; which is a must as the only downfall is the very steep hill that the house is located on. But the view made up for it! We had such an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again!

This house is beautiful!! The architecture and decor are amazing and the view is unbelievable. We enjoyed the house all the time.
It was our first time traveling to Sayulita and Shayne (manager) provided all the details before arrival. She answered all our questions and had great recommendations.
The house staff is amazing and provided an outstanding service. They are really friendly, we were welcomed all the time.
We traveled there for a birthday celebration; the house staff made this vacation to be really special. They decorated for the main day and we are really thankful for this.
I will start with Santi, he is the chef. All the food that he cooked was delicious and the presentation was so pretty. They were a few people in my family who are vegan and the house staff accommodated their needs accordingly.
Jibram is the houseman. If we had any questions or needed anything, he was able to help us. Also, he prepared delicious and beautiful drinks.
Angeles provided the best maid service. In addition to this, she makes the best desserts!! The flan and chocolate lava cake are the best. Also, I needed a couple of things and she figured out how to make it happen.
Gladis worked really well with Angeles and helped us with everything that we needed.
I highly recommend Hacienda Sayulita! The best house, location, house staff and food!!

Wanted to share a few responses from the group. First, the home is stunningly beautiful. Every room was perfection. From beginning to end, we felt the home provided a perfect backdrop for a celebratory vacation.
Second, we loved the staff! We appreciate the hard work from the entire staff. We could tell everyone put in a lot of work to make our stay amazing, in addition to going above and beyond for our birthdays and anniversary. It made us feel the trip was special. The food was spectacular! Every day Santi and the staff prepared some of the best food we’ve had. From prior to the trip until after departing the house manager was communicative and helpful.
We will be back many times!

Our family had a great vacation, many thanks to Jebram! We are very active and he arrange transport to surfing and hiking trips. He also arranged 2 golf carts for our group to go into town.
The whole team was great including Santiago who cooked for 10 meat eaters and 3 vegans!!!

We rented the Hacienda for my husband's 40th birthday party with a large group of friends, and it was wonderful! The house was stunning, the on-site team was incredible, the food was amazing, and our whole group was thrilled with the experience.
When we opened the door to the house, our whole group couldn't believe how gorgeous the property and view was. Jibram, the house manager, was on top of everything. Santiago, the chef, made incredible food. We felt like everything was taken care of and it made for an experience that we will never forget.
A couple things to note that might be helpful for others for planning purposes:
1) We stayed in Dec. 2022 and there was construction next door that was very loud (jack hammers, etc). And when I say "next door" I literally mean 20 feet from the Hacienda. It started at 7am and went all day during the week. Obviously there's nothing that this property could do about it, but bring ear plugs for sleeping if you want to sleep in and headphones for the pool if you want to have a relaxing reading session by the pool during the day. Nothing to complain about, but our group wished we had known.
2) The hill getting up and down to the property is intense. We're from Colorado and we hike all the time in the mountains and we found this hill to be hilarious. We had small children and folks over 70 in our group and they literally couldn't get up and down this hill without help. When our transportation van approached the house, he literally said "it might take a few attempts to get up to the house, which is totally normal." That's how steep and long this thing is :). All of this to say, if you have young kids, older folks, or people with mobility issues, definitely rent the golf cart or a car. (Although our group didn't rent golf carts because none of us were comfortable driving up and down the hill in one ;).
We ended up having more kids than we planned in our group who were all under the age of 7 and made it work. If you bring young kids you'll definitely need to keep an eye on them at all times as the house isn't child-proofed (and we didn't expect it to be). The little living room area off of the dining room made for a great "kids" area for dinner, where we set them up with a movie and pizza most nights while we all ate at the main table.
Anyway, the whole thing was wonderful. Thank you all for everything!!

We booked this house to celebrate a joint 40th birthday for my husband and I. I have to admit that we kept looking at reviews and some made us a little nervous. Don’t listen to any of it. The pictures, don’t do this beautiful home justice. The town is beautiful, safe and full of the Mexican spirit. Everything at hacienda Sayulita is impeccable. Jibram, Santiago, Gladys, Angeles and every single person there make this an absolute dream. We had most our meals there and everything was delicious. There was never a moment they didn’t offer you a drink, made sure everyone was having fun, and everything we needed. Our group ranged from a 4 month old, 4 yr old, 7 years old. Some late 20s, and couples in their 40, 50 and 70s. We enjoyed the pool, and everyone enjoyed the game room. We all had the best time, and keep looking for another occasion to come back. We stayed at Hacienda Sayulita for a joint 40th birthday party with a very large group. From the first moment arriving at the house, all of our expectations were exceeded. Just like the pictures, the house is true luxury. Jibram and the staff really made this experience next level for us— they were welcoming, helpful with anything we needed and just really nice people! Chef Santiago made the best meals, that everyone in our large group loved. No detail at Casa Sayulita is overlooked we couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience!

Wonderful Villa and Staff
We just returned from a five night stay at Hacienda Sayulita as a party of 16, 60+ year olds all of whom have traveled the world and stayed in very luxurious accommodations as well as sparse accommodations! Before writing this review I looked back at the Villa's VRBO site and was surprised to see the mediocre review from Rachel P.
This place was wonderful, is exactly as advertised and the staff was very friendly, unobtrusive, and incredibly willing to assist in any way..
Jibram, the "main man on site" is a hard worker and anxious to make sure whatever you need is available. On those occasions that we ran short of particular items, Jibram would take off on his motor bike without us even noticing and return with what we needed. The ladies in particular, loved Jibram.
We planned two evenings out in Sayulita and three dinners at the Villa. Santiago, the chef, served some amazing meals as specified by our group prior to arrival. We generally ordered from menus provided by the Villa and were not disappointed. Santiago's chili relleno was fabulous! Breakfast was equally as delicious with a wide assortment of choices including pancakes, sausage, bacon, fabulous hash browns, fruit, eggs, frijoles and many local dishes. Best thing was, if you wanted a fried egg, all you had to do is ask and Santiago would cook it for you.
The rest of the staff, three smiling ladies, did a wonderful job of cleaning our rooms and the house. It was a great surprise to return to our rooms following breakfast to find the bed made perfectly and the room and bathroom clean. Most impressive was the beautiful table setting they created for dinners! Following dinner, the team of five worked diligently to clean up our dishes while also serving our party our requested cocktails.
We were not in Sayulita to play games or watch television. While these amenities are appreciated, we did little more than walk in the game room to confirm it existed!
The town of Sayulita, while intimidating at first, is actually very easy to navigate. We had requested four golf carts which Jibram had delivered upon our arrival. these probably were not necessary but appreciated. Again, we are all 60+!
The nearest beach, straight down the hill from the Villa, is very pleasant. I had barely finished the cerveza I brought from the Villa when a gentlemen appeared over my shoulder and asked what we needed? Soon I was sipping a delicious margarita!
All of us would return to Hacienda Sayulita!!!

We had high hopes for this property, which is largely gorgeous, but the service and communication were lack luster. The food was seemingly prepared from a large central kitchen in Puerto Vallarta. Few items were cooked on-site. There is major construction going on less than 20 feet next door (that is continuation of the property) that we were not notified of beforehand. While the staff was generally pleasant, at no point did they go "above and beyond" or even "meet expectations" (except for the housekeepers who make an awesome bed). After a preliminary clean and "tidying" in the morning, there was nothing in the afternoon or evening. We were rarely if ever offered something to drink, had to remind the staff to replenish towels etc. While we arranged for staff on Sunday, early on they seemed to be the last to know of this arrangement, but offered to bring us a quiche for food which never was delivered. The whole experience felt very transactional and lackluster. The media room could use a dehumidifier, and the main tv is approximately 10 years out of date, making streaming impossible (there is no cable tv). This experience was no way in the same category as other staffed villa experiences we've had in nearby Punta Mita. If you're ok with tile sawing, a luke warm hot tub, lots of plain cheese quesadillas with an awesome view and access to a fun and quirky town, this might be the place for you.

Wonderful views, staff and food!
The house was gorgeous, the staff was very accommodating and helpful and we would love to stay again. The hill to arrive is very steep but no problem for our guests. We had some miscommunication with the property manager but likely just a covid issue since our trip was postponed a year. The food was incredible and the views are amazing!

Paradise found
Most amazing house and staff, the views are spectacular and even with 20 people, the house felt very spacious. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable, especially with AC units in each room. The infinity pool and rooftop deck were also nice amenities. Shayne the house manager and the onsite staff are all fabulous, very responsive and helpful. Alex, the houseman and chef Santiago and rest of the staff were friendly and the food/drinks were better than restaurant-quality. Can't wait to return soon!!!

Dream trip
My fiance and I brought our 17 closest friends from all over the states to Hacienda Sayulita. Every detail was perfect. There was more than enough room for everyone and the house is stunning. All the rooms are beautiful, the views are to die for, and the only thing more amazing is the house staff.
Alejandro and his team were a highlight of the trip. They treated us like family and made us beyond comfortable from morning till night. The food and drinks never stopped flowing and we cannot wait to re-book.

Exceeded Our Expectations
From the moment we arrived, Alejandro, Chef Santiago, Karen and Angeles were there to meet our every need and desire! Fresh margaritas, fabulous food and over-the-top accommodations is what this magnificent home offers. The views from the main level and rooftop are extraordinary-the pool provides non-stop entertainment as well as the game room with pool table, Foosball and ping-pong.
This is definitely the place to stay in Sayulita.

The villa is beautiful, but the staff is the icing on top of the cake.
To say that pictures don't do this place justice is hilarious but true, because even the pictures already look incredible - but you have to see it to believe that it's even BETTER than these photos show you. We planned our wedding in 2 months and the manager Shayne, and houseman Alejandro (or "Alex") were such big helps getting flowers, food for the small reception, and music if we wanted setup. Our guests raved all weekend that the villa was perfect down to the piña coladas that didn't stop coming on our pool days! The chef, Santiago, made such wonderful food we didn't bother to eat in town once, except for the one day we went into Puerto Vallarta to explore. The ladies were wonderful and so friendly and brought such a warm energy into the villa during our stay - and surprised us with really sweet decorations in our suite on our wedding night. It was truly so thoughtful and beyond what we expected or thought we'd get at this place!
The only word of caution is that upon arrival in Puerto Vallarta, you really should pull out cash - or at least plan a day trip to PV during your stay to get cash, since the ATMs in Sayulita dry up VERY QUICK and the bank is not very accessible to out of towners. Other than that, really everything about our stay was perfect and Alejandro and the team did everything they could to make our stay feel perfect for the entire group. We can't wait to come back every year for our wedding anniversary. This place is incredible not just for its beauty, but the team it comes with.

Trip of a Lifetime: Forever Grateful for Hacienda Sayulita
We booked this house when it was still under construction because we could see the care that was being put in every detail of the design: from the stones in the flooring to the beautiful wooden doors, to the indoor/outdoor living space, to the endless ocean views from each room. We brought 22 adults and one baby together in one space for 5 days...a huge family celebration. It was a dream of a lifetime to do something like this and because of the space, Shayne's care in answering all of our questions before we came, Alejandro and his staff attending to all of our needs (and ones we didn't even know we had!) and a nice energy flow throughout, we left with our nieces and nephews asking us when we could do this again! It was spacious, with each family getting their own room/bathroom, but also the main space by the pool where everyone gathered. At one point, we counted six different groups gathering in different spaces, feeling like we could have our own conversations, but also still feeling together. Also, we appreciated the small touches--flowers in each room, flowers on the towels, laundry being available, my jewelry being placed on a jewelry holder (!), the fixtures in the bathrooms....we so appreciated all of that.
Alejandro was incredible. He has this wonderful way of connecting with people and giving us what we need at the right time while also knowing when to stay in the background and not disrupt flow of conversation. He has a great personality, directs the staff well, and always made sure we had a margarita in our hand (!) He was creative with using up the food we had vs. buying more. The food was amazing!! Even family members who didn't think they liked Mexican liked it by the time they left. He called us by our name very quickly (!) & was always available with a smile. We loved the roof deck for yoga in the morning & dancing conga in the evening. The game room was also fun--yet another space for families to enjoy. The dining table was big enough to accommodate all of us, which was important to us. We can't wait to go back. We can't think of a better place, space, or staff to celebrate family with then Hacienda Sayulita. Thank you Shayne, Alejandro and the entire staff for the best birthday family celebration, helping us make our dream not only come true but be even better than what we ever could imagine

Pinch me I am Dreaming!
Since the moment we arrived it was heavenly! The views that take your breath away to Alex having a margarita in hand to welcome our group of friends and kids. We were there for 4 days and only once left to explore Sayulita. It is the kinda of place that you really cant think of a reason to leave. The architecture, decor, views , food and service was a 5 star experience. It was one of our best stays anywhere and cant wait to come to Hacienda Sayulita. As much as great as the hacienda is what made it special was the service from booking to Alex and his staff making sure we were taken care of. I cannot recommend this place enough! Do your self a favor and go!

Exquisite villa with insane view
A group of 20 of us stayed at Hacienda Sayulita for 3 nights and we couldn't have had a more memorable time. Walking into the house is incredibly impressive with stunning ocean and town views. Once you walk into the beautiful entry (complete with a striking agave plant), you are greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff, ready to make your stay even more perfect. The rooms are elegantly decorated in beach chic and the beds and pillows are fantastic. This home is expansive and even though we had 16 adults and 4 kids, we had enough space and then some. The kids (and some of the overgrown boys;) thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped game room and movie room and spent a ton of time at the infinity pool. The staff could not have been better. Friendly, unobtrusive and very talented. The chef cooked incredible dinners, including a stuffed chicken with a delicious poblano cream sauce and encrusted fish the following day. Alex, the house manager, is adept at keeping abreast of anything you may need and makes a killer margarita! Shayne, the owner, communicated with us from the onset about any special requests we may have. We could not have asked for a more picture perfect home to enjoy Sayulita. This home is truly incredible and we cannot wait to return soon! Thank you, Alex and Shayne!

Incredible Vacation, Incredible Villa!
We were fortunate to find this amazing house on HomeAway for a vacation of family and friends. Sayulita is a great town, but when you're staying in this house nobody in the group will want to leave! The tropical birds will greet you with their songs in the morning and the sunsets will take your breath away before bed. The food prepared by the chef was outstanding and all of our delicious mixed drinks hit the spot all day long! There was no detail that was spared in the design and fabrication of the home. The adults can enjoy a cocktail by the pool as the kids are entertained in the game room. While this home is absolutely massive, it also feels cozy. In the same sense, a moment of privacy is easy to find - we had a 4 month old baby who needed some quiet nap time and he was able to find peace and quite throughout our stay, even with the rest of the group enjoying music in the living room. One of the best aspects of the home is the wonderful terrace that the whole family can enjoy on the rooftop. We were able to see many constellations in the night sky and the sea breeze made for the perfect evening tranquility. We all cannot stop talking about this beautiful masterpiece and we can't wait to return for another perfect vacation! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

A LUXURIOUS GIRLFRIEND GETAWAY
Pinch me! We arrived at a Mansion!!! with amazing views over Sayulita town and beach!. The house is brand new, an architectural jewel with super high ceilings and luxurious finishes, my room had an amazing terrace with a hammock on it! The sheets and covers are all first class and even though the villa has 11 bedrooms you feel you are in a very cosy environment. The common areas are so cool, with gray touches and comfortable furniture. The pool is huge and heated!! with a black rock finish that makes it look very modern. The staff is amazing and they prepare the best margaritas and the best salsas and quesadillas! I am trying very hard to place a balanced review here but I can't think of anything bad. You are like 15 minutes walking from the hippie shops and restaurants of downtown Sayulita (I went on my own, as my friends refused to leave the pool). The jacuzzi is enormous and a lot of people can fit in there. I just loved every minute there. I cant wait to go back!

Superb Sayulita getaway
The moment you walk into Hacienda Sayulita you loose your breath, first thing before your eyes is “the view”; AMAZING wouldn’t start describing what it is. The whole feeling of the house is so homie, it really invites you to kick of your shoes and just relax.
Kitchen, dinning room, living room are all facing “the view” and the pool is just feet away, and that salt water pool and jacuzzi are just Heaven! Each bethroom is a different experience, a different feeling, everything looks and feels so amazing, so Mexican , so Sayulita.
We had delicious margaritas as welcoming cocktails, they we're delicious, as well as guacamole, chips and salsa.
The staff was amazing, attentive and cordial all the time. The food that was prepared for us at all times was delicious and with amazing quality.
To top it all of, the rooftop is the place to be at night, watch the town and the stars, you can stretch out in confortable couches and cozy up and just feel the sea breeze .
Kids had fun in the game room too and doing all kind of activities in town. My family and I are definitely coming back, and we recommend Hacienda Sayulita 100%. Loved this place
