Entra en esta casa paradisíaca frente a la playa y navega hacia otro mundo. El Admirals Townhouse es un hallazgo raro en una sección prístina y sin aglomeraciones de la playa de Madeira. We weren't able to check in until 530pm on our day of arrival. The cleaning crew was friendly but seemed overworked.

Beautiful townhome that matched every bit of the pictures. Few issues that were responded to immediately! Only issue is that the wading pool was heated. Was not specified in the information sent. I was also told that there were “a couple beach chairs” in the storage unit but there was a lot more beach equipment available. Would have saved us a lot of trouble.

Very standard beach rental, house had musty smell that cleared out over time, seemed hot water tank was in vacation mode first day showers were cold, otherwise some disrepair but a good place to stay, unfortunately we picked a cloudy cool week to stay but were locked in. Great view of the beach, don't bring an extra car unless it is small.

Location is ideal, there are amenities within walking distance, walk to John's pass on the beach from this location. Property is fairly large and open, the 4 bedrooms of good size, note the double bed in the upper level is a murphy bed (comfortable) but the sliding doors do not lend too much privacy and is the smallest bedroom. We found all things in working order and clean. Towels and bedding are good. The kitchen is well stocked. There is parking for 2 cars( 3 cars will be tight) , but note they are one in front of the other, backing out is a little tricky just due to the traffic on the roadway. Other reviews criticism about the dating of the furnishing is well documented and true, however, they are all functional but could use updating. If you’re considering this location I assume it is because you are choosing to spend time outside on the beach, the outdoor furniture is not great. There are two high tables, one on the lower deck( 4 chairs) and one outside the main floor balcony ( 2 Chairs). There are some chairs for the beach, but they are either “well used” or kind of gross. Choices for outdoor beach chair is portable folding chairs (soccer sidelines) and a couple of low end beach chairs, there are no loungers or fully reclining beach chairs, this seems to be a blind spot for a beachfront. We would consider rent again, but would 1st look for a property with better outdoor furniture.

The townhouse was perfect with accommodating 8 adults. Had everything we needed. I do wish the 2 splash pools were one real pool. Thats my only suggestion. The water in the splash pool was hot and not inviting. However, being able to walk right out to the ocean was amazing!

We had a great stay! The property was just as pictured, steps from the beach, which was not at all crowded. We had a small issue with an appliance and the property manager was very responsive and took care of the problem very quickly. It was so nice to be able to use the garage and all the beach supplies as well. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Don’t hesitate to book this townhome. The location on a quiet stretch of beach is amazing. Home sleeps 8 very comfortably. It is well appointed with everything you need. There is even beach chairs, floats and toys for the kids and a grill. The plunge pool is small but perfect for an evening dip.

Absolute amazing! Want a house ON the beach, a quiet beach, and space for all!?? This was IT! Cute little town with walking distance to bars, eats, coffee, activities. Loved the freebie rentals for things we could add to our stay. This was the first vacation I was super sad to leave based on the fresh air coming through the doors every morning, the light sun that would wake us up every morning, and the relaxation of the house (porch, walk to the beach for sunset). TVs were nice at night for all the apps for down time. The stuff under the house to use for the beach was nice! (Think the folks next to us snagged a chair though!)
One suggestion… maybe a new mattress is needed for the master bedroom. It was great—but it may be time to get a new one.
One more thing!! Ice cream shop across the street!!

The house itself was great, right on the water and a short walk to Johns pass where there are a bunch of restaurants, bars and shops. I didnt give 5 stars for cleanliness only because the pool was dirty the whole stay. I contacted the company and they got back right away saying the pool guy would be out in a day or 2. He did come out but didn't clean the pool well, it was still dirty and remained that way for the rest for the rest of the trip. I never called to complained again because if thats what the pool guys says is clean then it wasnt going to get any cleaner.

This is a great house right on the beach. It was nice to wake up and sit on the balcony overlooking the gulf. We are a family of five and had plenty of room to spread out and sleep comfortably. There are two things that could be fixed to make this place five stars - the dining room chairs are upholstered and had several tears and lots of staining. Those need to be fixed or replaced. We avoided using the table. Also, the rooms near the street experienced a lot of noise, even at night. It sounded like a window was open but everything was closed up. Maybe better windows would help with that? Besides those two issues, our stay was good.

The property was great, the views really beautiful. The Beach amazing. The property had everything we needed inside and great water toys, towels and chairs. My only negative is that Gulf Blvd is really noisy and busy and the driveway is small and the garage was long and narrow so it’s impossible to manipulate the 2 cars we had in the garage and driveway. Driveway too small for that and really hard to back out onto the Blvd. The small pool/ hot tub was wonderful too.

Wonderful place to stay. Bright and cheerful. Clean. Direct beach access and small pool on property worked wonderfully with small grandkids who had varying nap times.
My brother-in-law's family rented the other half of the Townhouse which made it the perfect extended family vacation!

The house was in such a great location! A pool and beach were right outside. Our 5 and 2.5 year old especially loved the pool, and we loved that it was shaded most of the day. We seen dolphins almost everyday from the beach!
The house had everything we needed including beach towels and toys, kitchen supplies and plenty of space for everyone. The master bedroom balcony view was incredible!
The property company was very responsive and sent someone right out right away to address one small issue. We were fortunate to not have neighbors most of our stay, but even when we did it was no bother and we couldn’t hear them when we were inside the house.
Make sure to check out the Candy Kitchen across the street for ice cream and fudge, it’s so cool! Also take advantage of the freebies through Xplorie. We waited until the last day and wish we would have done it right away.

Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The inside was very clean while the outside shared space (wading pool and grilling area) could use a broom and a blower cleaning. We would have liked to have better kitchen equipment (pots, pans, knives) and an outdoor gas grill. Also suggest a printed/laminated binder of house and area information.
Overall, a very nice property and a great location for a Mad Beach getaway.

The condo was lovely and had a terrific view of the ocean. We grilled out most of the evenings and had a super time. Anyone would enjoy this beautiful condo.
Only con is that the first floor bathroom's sink did not drain and the toliet was too low

This beachfront townhouse was almost all we could ask for in a VRBO.
There were a couple of areas where a little TLC could have helped, but overall, we were all VERY happy with the “Admiral’s Nest”, and plan to stay there again. The rooms were nicely furnished, and the layout was ideal for a small group to interact with each other and enjoy the beautiful setting. We really appreciated the multi-level organization. Dual zone AC was also very nice.
The only negative is that the kitchen could have used an upgrade to the pots/pans & flatware. This was a minor point for us.
There is a long garage that can fit two cars (we only had one).
The beach has incredible, clean white sand, with warm, calm water and no crowding.
The management company was very responsive to our questions (How to work the digital lock) and had a great suggestion for a birthday dinner location.
I gave this location 4 stars, but I think 4.5 stars is more accurate.

Property location, and amenities were great as advertised and we had a wonderful vacation! Only issues were interior floors were sandy upon arrival throughout living room and kitchen area of house and outdoor charcoal grill was missing a grate. 1 text message to property management and new grate was delivered the next day so not a big issue.

Great location and property management, BUT....
The location next the beach was great and the property management was very quick to respond. It is a duplex so it depends greatly on who is staying in the other side. We never were able to use the pool as the other people were always using it and always outside on their patio. The other negatives were the beds they were all terrible. They were the worst we have ever stay on. Also we had a problem with ants in the kitchen as others had reported in their review. We would not stay here again due the beds and neighbors, but other than that would recommend it if that does not bother you. The beach and area was good.

Family Vacation
Nice to have beach in your back yard! Chairs and floats under the unit were nice to have. Charcoal grill available. Bring your own trash bags- There were only a few trash bags available. Kitchen well stocked with plates, coffee cups, glasses., pots and pans. When we were missing beach towels and had trouble with the cable tv- the staff was quick to remedy the problems. Within 20 minutes. Great place and great stay.

Ultimate Beach Location
Absolute Best Beach Location. Can walk to several restaurants/bars/shops including John's Pass Village. Sleeps 6 adults. Only issue was property was not cleaned at check in. But Mike, Property Manager, was on top of it by getting cleaners in there. He was always available and very accommodating during the whole week stay.

Not impressed
The best thing about this house was location to the beach!! Just steps to the beach. Checkin and out was a breeze. Overall it wasn’t very clean, was dusty, cups smelled like fish, very old washer/dryer, which was overfilled with lint. The upstairs middle bedroom was bothering two of the girls sleeping there so they ended up sleeping on the couch for half the stay. There was no air movement and maybe it was allergies. The furniture was very old and worn, especially living room.
When anyone got a shower upstairs it was so loud everyone could hear!
Master bedroom had one half of one outlet that worked. They just put a new tv in that room and when I told them it wasn’t working because of our outlets, they sent someone over to hook it up and add a long extension cord. Every single outlet didn’t work except the half outlet that the tv was plugged into.
We didn’t even use the Small pool, which didn’t look clean. Lots of stuff under the house like chairs and toys which we were able to use at the beach. There was broken glass on the living room deck so we just cleaned it up. Would be nice if there were a wall or something to block the two patios so you’re not having dinner/drinks with the other group beside you. Overall we had a good time with family but would not go back.

Family spring break
Our family loved the location and the short steps to the beach. I think the pictures made the house look more updated than it was however it was spacious and clean. It is virtually impossible to not bring sand into the home, even after rinsing off. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. We had an enjoyable spring break in the home Thank you!

The beach house was an enjoyable experience. It is close to John's Pass, as well as some good restaurants. The sunsets were fabulous! The condition of external grounds needed some work. The small swimming pool was requested to be cleaned as it was filthy but this nr happened. It was not heated as well so this was a disappointment for the kids. The one bathroom had a cracked toilet tank and worn toilet seat...gross! For the money I would have expected it to be upset. Some areas are due for an update. Fortunately our neighbour's were great! All in all a great time.

Great beach getaway
This was our last Spring break trip with the kids before they all start going their own way as they reach adulthood so the goal was to get something memorable. The admiral house is much bigger than it seems. My wife and I stayed in an amazing master br with a balcony and stunning view of the sea. Our three kids also each had their own bedroom. All the usual amenities including an indoor garage were there and we really didn’t miss anything. What is absolutely unbeatable is the fact that we were right on the beach. No beach packing, planning, trying to get there early to get a parking spot etc. Everyone could make their own schedule and come and go as they go as they pleased. This was priceless. I would hugely recommend this house to others. We had an amazing stay.

It’s all about the beach!!
We love the place. Great access to the beach. Stunning sunsets! We had a great time!! It’s set up for four adults and four kids, we had six adults and no kids, which meant 2 adults were sleeping in twin beds. In spite of that, we are making plans to stay here again next year.

Overall very enjoyable!
We took our adult children and found the house to be roomy enough for all of us. The beach location was a dream and the balconies were perfect for the gorgeous sunsets. Our only complaint was a lack of hot water in every sink and shower. The indoor and outdoor furniture was worn but acceptable. We had one minor maintenance issue and it was handled quickly. We would certainly stay here again.

Girls Trip
The property was clean, exactly as the posted pictures indicated. Mgt was responsive to one minor repair. We were happy there were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas and other items too. The only thing we didn’t like was some street noise, which is inevitable. What’s great about this location is the short walk to Cabby’s…great food and sunset restaurant. We also had an easy walk to Johns Pass for shopping restaurants and entertainment! Overall loved our trip and this part of the beach was relatively quiet and we found lots of shells too! We will be back!
