We rented this place for Spring Break with our children, grandma, uncle, aunt, and our family friends. The views were amazing, it was so relaxing to be able to fish off the private river deck area and just enjoy the scenery. Of course we couldn’t tube but we knew that beforehand since it was too cold, but in the summer this would be the perfect spot with direct private river access. The pictures definitely don’t do this place justice you will just have to see it! Oh I forgot the most important part, this house was so clean!!!!! The only problem we had was the toaster didn’t work, it wasn’t a problem though since we only tried it on our last morning while packing up to go. Thanks for some amazing memories we will definitely be back!

Weather did not cooperate. It was cold and rainy all through our 4-night stay. Thank goodness the house was cozy, warm, and comfortable, and lots of space for our small family group. We appreciated the high level of cleanliness, and no musty odors even with the damp weather. Appliances were excellent, and kitchen was quite well-equipped except for the lack of a toaster. We loved the riverfront view! Lots of large, clear windows looking through the covered porch, and spacious deck to the beautiful trees and river. Lots to enjoy!

We attended a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater and chose this property due to close proximity to the venue. The outdoor decks were perfect for gathering together with a view of the river. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t cook anything, so can’t comment on how well stocked the kitchen is for meal preparation. Could use a new coffee pot—very slow. Overall this property served our purposes very well.

What a wonderful house to enjoy with friends and family. We had a great time visiting on the beautiful deck, playing cornhole and watching the wildlife (raccoons, deer and skunk). We were also able to spend some time enjoying the river and tubing. We will definitely be back!

This home is perfect for a nice long weekend on the Guadalupe River! The home and side/guest home are both comfortable and spacious. Location is ideal, not far from the main roads into town yet very calm and scenic view from the attached porch (good amount covered in case of rain!). There's a lower open porch right on the river and it really puts the icing on the cake of this place! Everyone loves sitting on the water-front, enjoying a picnic and visiting. You walk right down to the water if you want to go and float in your tube. I love this place and so will you!

Bohemian Hill is the absolute best home away from home right on the beautiful Guadalupe River, we had so much fun and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this home, we wish it was our own home!

Excellent accommodations for our family of 9! Everything we needed was provided. A little trouble with front door combination dead bolt but otherwise we had a great stay!!

We love to come to bohemian hill every July. It's my most favorite vacation every year. Our family has made so many wonderful memories through the years. The deck is fabulous for early morning coffee and for evening meal time. The kitchen is perfect for cooking. Fully stocked with good quality appliances and cook wear. It just can't get any better

This is our favorite family vacation - the house was clean when we arrived, they were helpful with getting us into the house when we got to the property, and anytime we had a question they answered us immediately.

Stayed for a friends trip - the house was great for our group size (12) and for river location/access. We loved the back deck. Kitchen was stocked decently. Our only issue was towels - there were only 5 bath towels in the house. Luckily we were able to have someone grab some from home. Otherwise the house was great.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a sign that cameras that inform you you are being monitored, but don’t say where. Immediately behind the house is a incredibly busy road. You can’t escape the noise of it in the evening. There is no master suite. The only bedroom suitable for couples has a bathroom down the hall. This was not stated and at this price point is unacceptable. The chains on the deck, multiple negative signs including signs about taking guests to court for leaning on railing, made us feel like the property owner is aggressive towards guests. The decor is ageist and uncomfortable. There was no working TV in any room. There was no ability to use grills or outside equipment; unlike any water rental we’ve ever had. There was no personal touch, welcome from the owner, or thanks for renting. Just lists of rules in most rooms. We would not recommend at all. Unwelcoming; uncomfortable; not worth the cost.

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to prepare our meals. I forgot to bring salt and the salt shaker on the table is empty! LOL

Beautiful please but both bathrooms smelled like throw up. In one of the bathrooms, when they folded the toilet paper for the new arrival, it was like they spit I big pink blob on it.. we threw the roll away. We had to was anything in the kitchen before we used it because they were dirty or had dried food on them. Was disappointed, but had a good stay.

More detail to cleaning the home. Porch trash can was left full. Trash under den recliner.

We stayed three nights just before Thanksgiving - I would recommend this little getaway to anyone. Clean, fully stocked for prepping and cooking meals, and a lovely outdoor experience overlooking the Guadalupe River. Only drawback was the weak WiFI - unfortunately some of us were working during the stay. Otherwise a great stay!

Absolute perfection! Loved it!

This was truly a home away from home. The river in this area is beautiful and deep- great for swimming and floating. The patios are perfect for outdoor cooking and just spending a relaxing day together. We had a big group and it was plenty of space for all of us. We look forward to visiting again!

The property was just as it was posted! Had an issue with the ac on the last day but other than that we enjoyed it very much! It was very close to river outfitters and not far from Gruene.

This place is awesome and we have been coming here for years! Always clean and inviting.

Overall great escape with the Guadalupe River in the backyard and a memorable two-family trip. Backyard river was beautiful and fun, but the water flow was a bit too slow so we sometimes went elsewhere within a 20-min radius to float in faster currents. Company: Sky Run was great to work with as they communicate frequently and make the process easy. We would rent from them again. I suppose my only tiny suggestion is that it would have been nice to hear more about COVID-19 cleaning procedures/standards. House: Good - The backyard is fantastic! The main areas and bedrooms were laid out well and clean. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen area was good with lots of seating. The side house was also nice for families to isolate. Needs Improvement - The house is older, so it lacks a lot of modern updates and decor you would see in other air bnb-like options. The ice maker was really noisy but we just turned it off and were fine. There were thousands of ants in the driveway, but they went away the next day. Atmosphere: Neighborhood is nice and quiet, but there is another rental home next door and there was a very noisy family with their outdoor speakers on full blast all day in the backyard one of the days, which took away from the afternoon napping/serene setting for a day. It is the river, so you can expect some large party groups. The road behind the river in the backyard is a very pretty and scenic drive, but you will hear a lot of roasters, motorcycles, and enthusiasts cruising by. We didn't really mind, but it is there. River: Beautiful view and very relaxing float days with no other "floaters" around. The river access is easy, although it is a more stagnant area with very little flow rate, so we alternated days there and at other parts of the river. There weren't any people since most public tubing is shut down. Small suggestion: I wish the ramp went a little further in the river or there was something to hold on to, as we had elderly people who made it to the edge but couldnt get in. Location: We brought our own food to minimize outside contact, but there was a pizza and donut place nearby. Easy twenty minute drives to town, Canyon lake, etc. Comal Park and New Braunfels and Greune were very nice. All in all, we Would go there again and float.

The BBQ appliances were smokers, not grills so that presented a challenge. The kitchen stove was one of those glass topped electrics, also a challenge. There is no garbage disposal. It did have updated bathrooms in the main house. While there is a WiFi booster the internet service is marginal and the cell phone service is worse, pretty much non exisitent for either on the patio. The patio is very close to one next door, also a rental, so hope for good neighbors. There's a $25 fee for the priveledge of an early checkin at 2 instead of four.It's about 30 minutes to town.

Loved the outside decks! We had a blast singing Karaoke in the living room and tubing in the river, even though we had to drive to find the moving water, it was worth it. The house was set up well for our girl gang getaway.

We loved everything about this property. Great location, beautiful house, great for families and plenty of room. We enjoyed swimming in the river in the backyard and taking in the view from the beautiful deck. The WiFi is spotty and sometimes you can’t get a good signal. Our cell phones couldn’t get a signal in the house but there is a house phone that is available. We will definitely be back!
