Awesome Ocean & Beach Views of Beautiful Samara, Costa Rica - WALK TO BEACH!!
Hermosa cama de 2/2 baño vista al mar acaba de renovar condominio con todo lo nuevo en un pequeño y encantador relajado sentir la ciudad de la playa.
Condominio de seguridad cerrada 24 horas con 17 unidades, aparcamiento seguro con piscina de borde infinito y un montón de sillas de salón. Mi unidad está en el segundo piso y ofrece vistas serenas y espectaculares. Corto sendero a pie de la playa, el mar, restaurantes y la ciudad. O $ 2 de taxi desde el condominio a la ciudad. El condominio cuenta con postes de pesca, 2 tablas de boogie, balones de fútbol, frisbees, sillas de playa, dosel de sombra de playa, nevera, bolsas de playa. Cocina totalmente equipada con mostradores de granito, lavadora / secadora, 55 "TV con reproductor de DVD. Cama king size con baño nuevo. 2 ª habitación tiene 2 camas individuales con baño. Un montón de espacio en el armario. Un montón de actividades cerca - por nombrar algunos - natación, surf, kayak, paseos a caballo, tirolesa, quad tours o simplemente alquiler y crucero, excursiones de pesca, tours de delfines, alquiler de bicicletas, senderismo, etc Un montón de agradable y restaurantes de playa informal. Fantástico médico local (Dr. Freddy) en caso de que necesite uno, bancos, mercados, oficina de correos, estación de policía, tiendas de souvenirs. Más sobre ..... Samara, la ciudad, se encuentra en la provincia de Guanacaste en la costa norte del Pacífico. Está a unos 1,5 horas del Aeropuerto Internacional de Liberia (LIR). La unidad desde el aeropuerto está a lo largo de todas las carreteras pavimentadas, por lo que es un destino fácil de alcanzar.
Uno de los principales dibujos de Samara es su céntrico centro. El centro de la ciudad bordea la playa y está lleno de restaurantes, boutiques de moda, operadores turísticos, mercados y otros servicios. Otro atractivo es su bosque circundante y la vida silvestre. A diferencia de las zonas del norte, el espeso bosque tropical seco limita con Samara. Usted puede encontrar animales como monos, iguanas, y muchos tipos de aves.
La mayor atracción de Samara es su hermosa playa. Playa Samara atrae a todo tipo de viajeros con sus filas de palmeras y arena de color castaño claro. Va a encontrar 20-somethings agarrar una cerveza en uno de los bares junto a la playa, parejas paseando al atardecer, y los niños en el juego en las aguas del océano más tranquilo. John let us check in early! This place was amazing! The pool was wonderful and the walk to the beach is just down some stairs down the hill!
Make sure and eat at the restaurant Bahia we had 3 meals there and they were all so good! Also, Roots bakery is the best!

Loved the location with a short walk to the beach or to town. You do not need to have a car. Some good restaurants right at the end of the beach trail as well.

Beautiful condo with stunning views of the ocean. Walking distance to town, but we chose to drive given the narrow busy road. Condo was very clean and in great location just slightly out of town on a hill with sweeping views. Well stocked with all kitchen utensils and necessities. Good parking and guarded community. Felt very safe. The condo pool was amazing !!

We had a couple of issues when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond and resolve the problems. Very convenient to beach and restaurants with a fantastic view! We did appreciate having a car as the hill from the beach is a bit much to carry a lot of items. Our biggest issue was not having more time there!

This property exceeded our expectations in pretty much every aspect. The view was even more spectacular than the photos show, the location was awesome and the condo was well stocked with amenities. John (the owner) was super easy to communicate with and he answered any questions I had promptly. It was so nice having new appliances, washer & dryer in the unit, comfortable beds, comfy furniture when relaxing, great pool area, etc. I would say my only complaint was that there is not a grill on the property, which would've been nice to have. We made due with no problems and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. I would highly recommend contacting the Samara Info Center to book any excursions as they were super helpful and don't charge any extra booking fees. We really enjoyed visiting the Macaw Recovery Network, the Ora River kayaking tour, the Monte Alto Nature Reserve, and especially our numerous visits to Playa Carrillo! That is one of the top 10 beaches in all of Costa Rica and was a quick 10 minute drive away. We rented a car so we could do more exploring but many people just rent a golf cart or walk to get around Samara. I personally wouldn't recommend riding a bike or walking on the road as it is very narrow and curvy which made the driving a bit more stressful. Overall, a great vacation! Pura Vida!!!

Really liked this condo. Great view of the ocean! The place was clean, easy to check in, had a lot of small amenities that made the trip better: boogie boards, flashlights, well stocked pots/pans/utensils, beach chairs, etc. Owners has thought of many things to make guests comfortable.

This condo sits on a hill above Samara. The view is great. The condo is spacious. It is nice that it is gated and secure. Just note it is a long walk to the beach down the driveway, across a road and through town. We drove to and from the beach each time as we did not want to take the time and energy to walk. We appreciated and enjoyed the extras like beach chairs, umbrella, beach mats, boogie boards and cooler. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice.
Now for the Cons: The owner John is hard to deal with if you have any problems. First of all, we were not sent a map/instructions on how to get there and had to stop in town to ask for directions to the condo. Secondly, the bathrooms were not cleaned before we arrived. There was blood, poop, urine and hair on one of the toilets. The shower floors were not cleaned either. Overall, the place could use a good deep cleaning. The owner quickly responded when we reached out to him but had a hard time accepting that everything was not perfect and made excuses. He was aggressive and accusatory at times. He did offer to refund us our next nights' stays if we wanted to find another place but that just wasn't feasible for us. We told him we would clean the bathrooms that night after finding dinner and then expected the cleaning fee to be refunded. He responded in an an arrogant and unprofessional way and told us that he felt 1/2 the cleaning fee was more than enough to be refunded. I don't agree. It took a lot of our time to deal with this after a long day of travel. The previous people paid a cleaning fee and we did too, therefore the condo should have been clean upon our arrival. It was not a pleasant experience to deal with John. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and have never had an owner communicate with me in such a negative way. Overall, this was a nice place to stay away from the busy part of town but still pretty close. Just beware that if you have a problem, it will not be a good experience.

The view is what initially sold us to rent the property, and it was spectacular. Some things we wish we had realized--the condo is at the top of a 100 foot hill which involves walking up 60 plus steps AND then a hilly gravel driveway....and in the heat, walking up and down once was enough for us.
We also should have realized that having such a view toward the west would mean direct sun into the unit for many hours...and the a/c was set by the owner to not go below an assigned temperature.
We had some mechanical problems--the washing machine was broken and the sink, toilet and shower in the second bedroom did not drain. The washer was never usable during our stay but the drain problems were resolved before we left. As the owner told us "It's just something we live with and repair as we go. It just comes with the territory"

I was travelling with my husband and two adult daughters. The view from the condo was spectacular. Food for the soul. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.The beach was close and beginner surfing was enjoyable for the girls. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely recommend to friends

Nice condo very clean with good a/c. Nice pool and area for breakfast in the morning. Close to the beach. Have to be in shape to climb the hill from the beach to the condo if you walk😉. Parking well supervised. Good communication with John the owner

The drive from San Jose is long (5-6 hours realistically), so the closer airport is a better choice since it is apparently only 2 hours away.
This is a slice of paradise though so it is worth the trip however long!

This property is an excellent value. The owner, John, was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. He made the check-in process as seamless as possible and was available anytime we had questions. The condo itself has a beautiful view of the ocean and is easy walking distance form the beach and the town of Samara.
The only thing people should take note of is that the building is situated on a hillside, so expect a small hike to get there if you are coming from the beach. We are a fit/athletic family, so to me, it was a bonus (i.e. free to eat more gelato), but overweight people and/or people with mobility issues may want to take this into consideration.
Highly recommend. We will be back.

Four senior adults (two couples) stayed here and found it to be just right. From the view with wonderful views of the Pacific and birds, to the access to the beach, to the comfort of helpful appliances, to the helpful staff, we enjoyed our short three day stay and would happily stayed longer. The town offers a nice variety of restaurants and shops too. We rented a golf cart that provided easy transport to town and the beach when we preferred--just let the owner know of you intention ahead of time. Would highly recommend for a fantastic vacation.

Condo Veneto
We stayed at Condo Veneto for three nights. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The condo is located within walking distance to the beach and downtown Samara but climbing the hill back to the condo does require some stamina. We also really enjoyed the pool.

Seriously saved our vacation in Costa Rica
After realizing that Santa Teresa wasn't for us we were extremely fortunate to find this condo available. I can't say enough about how wonderful this property, and the general Samara area, is. The owner, John was very responsive and forthcoming about the amenities and flaws of his property. The staff at the condo property were always attentive and pleasant. The little extras like boogie boards, chairs, games and even a cooler made us feel like locals. To top it all off is the view from the floor to ceiling windows each evening. This place is pura vida.

Picture perfect view of the ocean from the moment we opened the front door!!The condo is beautiful and spacious. The sunsets from the dining table are breathtaking. The host, John, was fantastic. He sent us so much information about things to do, places to eat, and other recommendations in Samara, prior to our arrival. We highly recommend this property !!!

Excellent Stay in Samara and Host!
Our family (5 & 3 yr olds) had a great time in the Samara area of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Incredible condo with spectacular views. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. John was easy and quick to communicate to with before and during our stay.
We would definitely recommend this condo for a vaca. It is a little bit of a walk up/down the hill to the beach, but nothing too difficult for us.
The beach in Samara was wonderful to walk during the daylight hours. So was the town of Samara.
The adjacent beaches in the area were also worth visiting and exploring. We only wish we had more time to spend in the area and vacation/holiday.

Rest, Relaxation and Re-boot in Paradise
My father is getting older and wanted an adventure before the world gets "Completely Crazy", and this was perfect! We did have a later flight and had to find the place in the dark. That was an experience in itself! There are no street names!!
Then we did go during the "off" season and the pool was unavailable for a couple days. Other than those couple little bumps, this place was everything we hoped for! We will go again for sure :-)

Modern and well equipped apartment
The modern apartment is equipped with everything one could ask for and more, beautifully decorated and with surprisingly comfortable beds (especially compared to properties owned by locals). Only small issue is that it’s very difficult to completely close the windows in the living room and master bathroom, which I assume will cause higher electricity bills for the owner. Nice pool and sun deck, close three minute walk to the Samara beach (five minutes with kids). However, we preferred the more beautiful Carrillo beach a seven minute drive away. Would definitely recommend this well maintained property even though it is on the pricey side for a local expat family as us.

Samara is such a cool little town, with such a nice laid- back vibe and great people, both ex-pats and Ticas and Ticos. Weather was really nice (12/1-12/6/2020)
Gusto Beach and La Dolce Vita were our favorite haunts, but many other bars and restaurants line the beach and streets.
This Condo was everything we looked for and we were so pleased we found this Gem. And John was so responsive and easy to deal with, despite this being a very last minute trip. You will not regret booking a Condo here for your Vacation.

Great views and nice condo
We enjoyed our stay in Sumara. The condo was convenient and had wonderful views. The sunrises and sunsets were fantastic. The pool was large and had shade which was great on hot afternoons. You can walk to the beach ( but if a climb but nit bad unless you are carrying groceries! ) the beach us great fir long walks. We had a car and the Corrillo beach which is quite close us probably the nicest beach we had ever been in and we travel slot. Mikes if sand and shady palm trees with a nice surf and blue skies- who could ask for more . You can walk to the town along the beach . The town is lay back but has several nice restaurants, grocery store and a few shops. You might see a horse wandering through town but that adds to the charm.
The condo was well equipped and the bed was comfortable which is a must for us. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiries .

Well positioned condo with a great view
My wife and I enjoyed easy access to the marvelous Samara beach. Out time there was memorable, with the condo and small town of Samara providing us with many options for our enjoyment. The condo owner was friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend a stay.

Perfect Costa Rica beach vacation spot
Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo in Samara! The location was ideal with just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants in town. The condo itself was comfortably furnished and stocked with everything we needed for our 3-night stay. And the view! It’s incredible. We had a short 5 days for our first visit to Costa Rica and are so pleased we chose to come to Samara and Condo Veneto. It’s truly a slice of paradise. We hope to return again soon!

Amazing place in Sámara
John’s place was awesome! The condo is very nice and has everything you need. I was truly impressed by this property. The view is great, everything was super comfortable/clean and the pool at the complex was a plus! I would definitely stay again :)

Beautiful condo in a beautiful location
We have stayed in several condos in CR, and this is one of our two favourites (the other being in Playa Flamingo). It is extremely comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The owner was great to deal with; the entire process was simple and John was very responsive to our questions. If we are lucky to return to Samara in the future, we will look no further than this condo.

Views and location can’t be beat!
John’s condo was the perfect holiday getaway for my husband and myself. It had a wonderful view of the ocean and was in walking distance to the town. Lots of great restaurants were around-even right on the beach. If you want to stay home, the condo was completely furnished for cooking. Can’t say enough about this place. Will definitely book it again. Only wish there was a second condo to rent at the same time for our sons and daughter in laws.
