The house was very nice overall. We had 10 people and there were only 7 forks. We had rainy and gloomy weather all week and needed more lighting in the dining room to play games in the evening, it was very dark. The thermostat was set at 65 on arrival. We turned it up a few times, but we were cold all week probably because of the crummy weather. We still had a good time!

My husband and I took our 3 adult children and their plus ones and our grandson to the lake for a family weekend trip. House has 6 bedrooms so sleeping wasnt a problem! Kitchen is pretty small but we made it work. Houses only had 9 forks so you may want to bring some with you. House was stocked on toilet paper and paper towels (which probably has been the best out of all the ones we've rented over serval year) just dont run the washer in the evening while trying to watch tv in the livingroom because its loud. Id suggest moving the washer and dryer down to the basement.

The property is nice but there are a few things that should be noted.
Driveway will only accommodate 2 trucks with trailers at most.
There is only ONE bedroom with a TV.
If you’re an early riser, don’t take the back 2 bedrooms…the floor creaks very loudly. I know it sounds petty but it was honestly super annoying.
The main living room needs insulation, it gets very warm. Although the house has 2 AC units, the main living room gets hot. Like 20° warmer than the rest of the house.
If anyone in your party is a fall risk, don’t put them in one of the 4 back bedrooms. Carpet runners galore!!
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
Nice backyard that is shared with the other house. Good for outdoor games and kids to play.
Gas grill was definitely a plus!
Overall, we enjoyed our time.

We loved how close it was to Lees Ford and that there was a handy store close by. Was not used to bagging up the trash in the bathrooms. The large family area needs insulating, it gets very hot.

The house was spacious we had room for 12 people comfortably close to beach and Lees Ford Marina kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Great patio with gas grill. Large yard for the kids to play in. An all around great place to stay.

This was our second year my family and I have stayed at this property for Thanksgiving weekend, and plan to stay next year. Plenty of room. Marsha was great to work with and answered all my questions and made sure everything was ok. Thanks, for allowing us to stay. Planning for next year.

I thought it was more secluded but the houses were spaced far enough for privacy. The 3.5 bathrooms was a plus for our party of 10. It was clean and smelled nice. The house was nice and exactly how it was portrayed. This area of lake Cumberland was not very crowded and is not close to any of the “party coves” so this would be a good place for a family to stay or people looking for a very low key time on the lake

FLW Costa Championship
We rented this large house for six fisherman to stay for the FLW Costa Championship. This was the perfect home as we all had our own rooms and we could comfortably share the three full bathrooms.
We were located near several ramps within a 15 minute drive time to get us on to Lake Cumberland.
The kitchen had everything we needed to make full dinners at night.
The staff were extra kind and went out of their way to accommodate us, and even made our check in extra special as it was also my honeymoon and my wife accompanied me. We were greeted with an awesome surprise to make our day extra special.
From check in to check out, this was the perfect house for our stay.

Good for the money
Overall good stay. Some minor tips that could make the stay great - another refrigerator (house holds 14 but only one fridge that was not very cold), more towels (much more), bedroom & bathroom doors do not latch, more bowls in kitchen & more places to hang towels.
Two things we felt were a bit bigger than minor - maybe a way to notify renters of alerts in the area (there was a boil alert for the water that we just "happen to hear") and to not have the owner on the property spraying chemicals while tenants are there and rummaging through the trash. We felt a bit like we were on "watch" during our stay.
All in all for the money it was a good time with great friends! And we would rent there again.

Everything was exactly as they said it would be great space for multiple families like we had. Very close to Lees Ford. Would highly recommend this rental.

Awesome family vacation with kids and grandkids
This was our first time renting a house for our family to stay together and we had a great time. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Loved that we could have our meals altogether at same table and enjoyed being outside in the huge backyard watching our grandson play in his splash mat and be able to run all over. Enjoyed sitting on the shaded front porch in the morning drinking coffee. I would highly recommend staying here for families that want to be together comfortably.

FAMILY FUNCTIONING WITH ROOM FOR EVERYONE! GREAT PLACE TO STAY
We overall had a wonderful time, with the exception of a few days of on and off rain. Kitchen was more than adequately supplied with everything required to make it "just like home" It would be nice to have paddle fans and TV's in every room. The internet capability is the lowest available and the family was not able to utilize some TV family games while there. Had to contact company to find out why things were not working. The one bedroom by the living room had no closet access or accommodation to put suitcase/clothing out of the way. Perhaps decorative hooks on the wall to allow hanging of clothing. No TV in this room. The other bedroom had closets but no hangers. Bathrooms also did not have capability to hang clothing or towels when necessary for showering or dressing. Love that it was located right between the marina and the campground/park with the beach. Having information available for other things to do in the area (on those rainy days) as well as recommendations for "sit down restaurants" would have been helpful. This is definitely on our list to return if we decide to come to Cumberland Lake in the future. Both our contact people were great and helpful. Definitely recommend this for future families. Thank you for making this a place for family to come and relax .

perfect for our needs!
This property was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of sleeping space, sitting space, and bathrooms for the 14 of us. Nice yard for the kids to run around in, rode bikes in parking lot of church next door (busy highway, adult supervision needed!). Kitchen was adequate for our needs. Would have liked some curtains on the front window, and family room door for a bit more privacy. I would consider staying here again!

Great location for large family weekend at Lake Cumberland
We had a enjoyable 4 day weekend this location. Great size rooms...comfortable beds, great kitchen and dining areas for a large group to eat and discuss their daily ventures. A big back yard to enjoy yard games or just relax on the patio with a cup of coffee to watch the sun rise. New A/C units to keep the house at very comfortable 72 degrees.
The house was relocated to this location from Nancy which makes a interesting discussion item. The owner continues to make improvements to this house. The owner owns the surrounding houses which makes it easy to accommodate for a much large family than ours. I recommend this place and consider returning in future.

Loved the location and layout of home but the carpet needs to be replaced throughout the house.
My family spent a week in this home and had a great time. We loved the location to Lees Ford Marina and the park. Lots of room to spread out in the house and lots of seating inside and out to share meals. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. Loved the big room addition area with laminate floors. Only complaint is all the carpeting in the rest of the house is old worn and stained, especially in the large living room that was converted into a dining room. Would love to come back again if carpeting is replaced
