Had a wonderful long weekend here. The location did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed the private beach, lake, fire pit and deck with a beautiful view of the water and sunset. The kitchen was nicely stocked and plenty of linens and towels on hand for all guests. Parts of this house and yard are in need of some TLC but overall very nice, clean and comfortable. The only complaint is there is a sunken living room from the kitchen and it can be very dangerous for older folks or people with balance issues. There is also no shower handle or place to put shampoo etc in the master bathroom. We were also looking forward to using the 2 fire places but they were out of order and we were stuck in the house during a cold hurricane. rain)

Our stay was truly relaxing. The house and property was as described in the listing. The home was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meals and prep. My family of four and our dog Scout enjoyed the lake every day, doing lots of fishing, we played board games at the kitchen island and toasted marshmallows at the fire pit at night. I lounged in the hammock and read several books. It was the perfect break from the crazy work and sports schedules that we are bogged down by all year. Our pre-stay questions were answered quickly by Steve. We didn't venture out to use the beach, tennis courts or other amenities of the community because we just wanted a lazy week and that's exactly what we were able to have. Beautiful home and setting, I definitely recommend staying here. :-)

Our family has 3 acres of land in Central Jersey, big house and land in West Virginia, but Steve’s Lake house has a special place in our hearts. Despite trying other lakefront rentals in Poconos we return to this house every year since 2018.
The house is well-maintained, it is evident that Steve had put considerable thought into every detail, making guests stay both comfortable and enjoyable, we even received a message from host that the house is ready and we can check in 8 hours early :)
The convenience and accessibility of the amenities surpassed expectations. The fully equipped kitchen allows to prepare delicious meals while enjoying the picturesque view. Bedrooms are cozy and provided with a restful sleep after exciting days of exploring the lake and its surroundings.
The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the lake itself. The private dock offered endless opportunities for boating and fishing. Our grandson were enthralled by the countless adventures while discovering the natural wonders surrounding the property.

The house is very clean and well kept. The updated bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The view to the lake is unreal!! The private lake access, beach area and kayaks and boats were the highlight! We had a magical time and regret not staying longer. Like the other reviews mentioned the mattresses are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Feel like sleeping on a pull out couch.... we hope the owner will update those, and then we'd love to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at this lake house. The house is in a nice, private location which was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the easy access to the dock and the beach right on the property. We had a great time and hope to go back again

We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room in the house and the private lake access was really nice. The house was also well stocked and very clean. The only part that bothered us were the beds-they were a little too hard for our liking. Other than that, we loved it!

We all had a great time away from work
And school for spring break. Property was just as it is described and my dog absolutely loved being able to explore and swim in the lake out back. The only issue I had was we were unaware there were forms that needed to be filled out for the cars prior to arriving and that we needed to pay a $5.00 fee per car, which is well and fine it’s just I had none of my friends car information which made things hectic and difficult when I went to check in. Plus the place had no idea we were even coming. The property was very clean and well maintained, Other then that we had an awesome time and will most like be back- truly a beautiful place.

Just as pictured!
The home was just like the pictures. The owner was in great contact with us and allowed us to come up early to enjoy the outside features due to the weather looking bad most of our stay. It rained but we enjoyed the fireplace and movies. We did get some fishing in when the rain passed. Lots of fish caught right from the dock. Overall everything was PERFECT!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home.It was very clean, comfortable and inviting.With the lake views,beach area,big kitchen with island and all the amenities we felt right at home.The updated bathrooms are very nice.The cleanng lady even stopped by to make sure everything was in order.Everything is as pictured in the house info.It slept 8 comfortably.Steve the owner is very prompt in answering any texts I sent.Very nice to deal with...and funny!We will definitely consider this house for our next Girls Weekend.

Bachelorette Weekend
The location was fantastic, we loved the dock and lake and deck. The beach area was in need of attention and the furniture isn’t super great quality. The beds (all of them) were extremely uncomfortable, so hard. The property owner NEEDS to address the beds. Not one person slept well while we were there. Also, no AC in upper level, that was unpleasant on warm days. Otherwise though, it was a perfect spot and the house is beautiful.

A relaxing getaway!
Our family stayed here over Father's Day weekend. The large window in the living room allowed us to look at the water and watch the sunset right from the couch. It was gorgeous! The water is steps away from the back door and there's a small private "beach" and dock to enjoy the beautiful views. The house can use some updating but overall it is an amazing place. Spectacular views
We had a great stay at this location, the view from the house couldn't be beat. We enjoyed watching the sunsets over the lake while making smores around the fire pit. The house was very clean and spacious, the fact that linens and towels were provided was a nice perk. The owner was very responsive to our communication. We had trouble getting one of the fireplaces to work, and some parts of the house seemed dated, but overall a great experience, and we would definitely come back!

Property was in really good shape. Very clean when we checked in. Had all the necessities. The beach area by the lake was great. The only recommendation I would have is to reinforce the dock a bit. The decking has quite a bit of bend it is near the shore line. Absolutely plan on staying here again!

Amazing View
Perfect retreat to get away with the family. 5 star on everything at this house. Kitchen had everything we needed! Loved the steam shower in the master bath! Loved the two person hammock in the gazebo and beautiful lights. The path to the lake glowed every night, leading me to perfect quite, watching the stars reflect on the lake. The beds were a perfect firm for us. We brought our kayaks and SUP board to enjoy the lake. The house had a nice canoe too. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank You!!!!!

Very nice well stocked kitchen. Nice floor plan and clean bathrooms. Could not get the fireplaces or the baseboard heat to work. Better instructions would have been nice. Turned very chilly.

Great place to stay with the family. Lots of windows and lovely lake breezes. Plenty of sleeping space, amazing television and the hammock was really wonderful. Definitely needs some love and care- grill is barely functional was so dirty (we cleaned as best we could but really needs and update), beds are far from comfortable, space by the water has a lot of potential that’s unused, and dock is rickety, it’s clear this is a rental that’s not used by owners. But it’s a lovely place, we had a great time!

Slice of Heaven.
House was very clean and well kept. The view from the living room is nothing short of breathtaking. We had a lot of fun fishing and launching our kayaks right from our own dock. Enjoyed the nights down by the water with a roaring fire in the conveniently located fire pit. There were seven of us who want all together and the house was more than big enough. Located near some great trails and killer ice cream joints; the one right up the street had some really good cereal milk milkshakes lol. Property owner was very nice and helpful. I would honestly plan my vacation here again in a heartbeat.

Great Summer get away
The house was really exactly as stated in the write up. The Lake location is so nice that we never had to even walk over to the main beach. If you need to that is no more than a 5 minute walk. Perfect location really inside the community.
While the beds were a little hard and the toilets do need to be careful with to not clog, the house had everything you need. Everything seemed to work fine and the process / communication with host was easy.
I even left something behind and the host Steve worked with the cleaning staff to get it right back in the mail to me. Great customer service!!
The canoe worked great could use another paddle so two could go but the water was fresh and clean and felt great to jump in each morning. Thank you again for access to the house would love to be able to come back one day

Awesome family bonding experience
This was our fourth summer visit. The home and property and private beach access to the lake is stunningly beautiful! We enjoyed early morning coffee and fishing off the private dock, and loved the easy launching of our kayaks. Our son and dog really enjoyed the freedom to play and swim in the beautiful lake ... this is our only annual trip and we look forward to it all year. The home itself is PERFECTLY appointed! The screened in porch is a perfect pit stop to drop wet sandy shoes and clothes and cleaning pups paws before coming inside this beautifully furnished home. There is a huge deck with a gas grill, outdoor eating and a gas fire pit. There is a screened in hammock! This home boasts an impressive view of the property beach and lake. We are already dreaming of our next visit 2021 🤗�

Overall the experience was good. There were a few small appliances that were broken. But did not affect our stay. This property had no air conditioning an no mention of this in the listing.
