Beautiful cabin and location. Clean. Private. Ample parking. Close to town if you need laundry or groceries. Good WiFi. Plenty of towels and blankets. Pool table was a nice touch. The kids really enjoyed sleeping in the loft! We had a wonderful stay. 5 stars!

Great quiet retreat! Wish we would of stayed longer!

Great cabin! Lots of space, very convenient and clean. Perfect location for the activities we had planned! Nice outdoor spaces as well including a grill, fire pit and 2 decks. Great for a group of friends or a family.

This location was prefect for all the things we wanted to do in the area. From Rushmore, to Needles Highway, to dinner out, and to see wildlife.

Was a wonderful stay, got to sit out back on the porch and watch deer walk by. Was close to town of Custer, Mount Rushmore and Crazy horse monuments. Will try to stay here again in the future, if we are in the area!

This was a great place to stay. Absolutely no complaints. Will keep this on the list if I get a chance to stay there in the area again!

Everything was great. However being from southern Texas and visited during July, we were a little uncomfortable with AC throughout the home. Will need to keep this on our cooler month traveling list.

We were in Custer with friends for the Buffalo Roundup. The location was perfect for getting to the roundup and all of the other sights we wanted to see. The location is just out of town, meaning making a grocery or beer run is no big deal, but the best part of the cabin is that it's a cabin in the woods! Leave your phones in the car, don't look for a remote or game things, play some pool, cards, board games, start reading the book you never get around to reading and smile at the deer in the back yard. It is a great place to have fun the "old fashioned" way again.

We stayed here for a couple of days and it was so peaceful. I loved watching the deer come up to the yard as we drank our morning coffee. I’m not a city girl so long distance grocery stores don’t bother me I like the quiet life. It’s close to Mount Rushmore and other things I will definitely be back with my hubby and grands

While the location of this place was great, too many aspects combined for a lackluster stay. The kitchen is tiny and dark with insufficient and/or mediocre quality kitchenware. The bedrooms don't all have nightstands, and mattresses and linens are subpar. Worse yet, BOTH toilets were unsteady with the seat sliding on one and the whole stool rocking on the other. Bar stool backs fell off, and futon was misshapen. The host kindly offered to have us back at another time when we left early after getting COVID, but without upgrades, we won't be staying here again.

Loved it we had 4 teenagers with us and they really enjoyed being just right out of town

We really enjoyed our stay and the children loved it. It made our S. Dakota stay memorable.

We would recommend this cabin to anyone coming to the Custer area.

This stay was wonderful, from the wildlife on the driveway, to the comfortable sleeping & showers, to the entertaining areas- we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Plenty spacious for the 6 adults and two small children in our group. The cabin is close to Custer so going to the store or restaurant was quick and easy. We used the fire pit and the propane grill a lot! Great place!

We enjoyed our stay even though our younger granddaughter was sick the first couple of days. Our older granddaughter became a pool shark. It was close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Also, we had private times for ourselves. We would dedfintely stay here again.

This cabin was great for us. We enjoyed the pool table and fire pit outside.

The property was as I expected from the pictures, Kitchen area was very small but sufficient for our needs. Dining area was great for hanging out and playing games.

Stayed three nights with two families of four (eight people total). Plenty of room and we never felt crowded. Kitchen is small but very functional. Great location near Custer. Like I stated in the review title, kids absolutely loved the pool table!

The property we stayed at was everything that I was looking for. The property was beautiful and quiet. The house had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We booked our vacation then learned that Sturgis started the weekend we were checking out. Absolutely no issues with the biker crowd, everyone was mellow and having a good time. This is a very nice, rural cabin, with a large ‘great room’ but the kitchen and bedrooms are ‘cozy’. There was a lack of closet/dresser/hanger space in the bedrooms, and luggage was just left on the floor since there were no tables or luggage stands on which to sit it. There is no hair dryer in the cabin. There is a huge loft with plenty of room for sleeping or spreading out, and the entire house was comfortable. Kitchen utensils included the basics, and there were adequate linens for all 7 in our party. All appliances work well, and we had no other issues There is a huge fire pit with chairs in the yard, and little to no road noise could be heard. We ate outside but didn’t attempt a fire as it was mid-August not cool enough to need a fire. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. Really close to the conveniences of Custer, and all the activities around the area. Worth a look!

Quick and easy

The cabin is huge and well equipped and the location is perfect. Quiet, tons of deer and beautiful surroundings but close to town. Our kids loved it. Exceeded expectations!

Great place for our family trip. Lox action to Custer was good! We all loved the fire pit and the pool table. 2 pre-teen boys and not once did they play the x-box they brought along! Win win!!

We had a very positive experience staying here for our family vacation June 19-25. The cabin was clean upon arrival, very spacious, and was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jared was a gracious host and stopped by a couple times to make sure everything was going well. He does live next door but that did not impact our privacy in the least. We will certainly stay again!

Cabin is located just a few miles outside of Custer allowing quiet mornings/evenings but easy access to all the fun of the Black Hills area. We throughly enjoyed our stay and my 10 & 13 year old sons loved getting to play pool during our downtimes! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
