GergHouse is the great place to start Etseri - Ushguli hike, very easy to reach from the main road leading to Mestia. The room is clean, comfortable with new furniture. Facilities are shared, but very modern and clean as well. Food was fantastic!

We have started our 6 day trek to Ushguli here. An ideal location. They advised us where to park our car for a week. We found a car without cows scratches. Food was good and plentiful. Room clean, warm and comfortable. Good shared bathroom / shower.

- No Wi-Fi (mobile reception of beeline/magti is good) - Hosts gave us the least welcoming feeling comparing to any other guest house in 2 years travelling of Georgia. - They rounded payment into their favour without asking (fee GEL, but still)

The cook is superb - worth travelling to Svaneti for her food alone!

Very helpful hosts -- took us on a walk around the village to point out cool sites. Comfy beds and good shower. Natia speaks great English and was able to help us navigate taxis, marshrutkas, etc. The meals were delicious and huge with quality vegetarian options. Beautiful views from the balcony.

Very nice location in the quiet village of Esteri, we got extremely well welcome with lots of flexibility from the hosts, together with excellent breakfast and dinner on the terrasse. The rooms and bathroom are fully new and nicely equipped. Couldn't recommend it more!

A wonderful stay. The village is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The accommodations are comfortable and the household has a very nice courtyard and terraces for eating and sitting to watch the Mountain views. The host family is very caring and helpful. We recommend the breakfast and dinners since it is very delicious homemade Georgian food. Not only well-known dishes but also local ones.

Make sure to check GPS coordinates on Booking.com as of August’19 Google Maps location is not correct (30’ drive from actual location).
