The home was so clean and comfortable. The upstairs has a large family room for gathering and the back yard has a tropical feel to it. The home is a close walk to the beach and after the pool and hot tub are perfect to continue relaxing. My family and I will be returning for sure.

Our group really enjoyed this place. It was well stocked, a lot more spacious than we expected, and location was in a perfect location for walking to lots of great shops, restaurants and of course the beach! Best of all, says the kids, was the private pool!

Place was a block from the beach access at most, very clean(most importantly no critters), and the pool was amazing. There is a nice cafe for breakfast and lunch a short walk away. They had a beach cart and all the things for the beach. I would def stay again.

I am very disappointed to have to share our terrible experience with this property. I stay with VRBO quite a bit and all of my stays are typically very routine and positive. This location however was just picked up by a new property management company and they were not very friendly or accommodating. It began with about 24 hours prior to check-in (we booked the property 3 months prior to travels). I was contacted by the new management company and told that things had now changed and I would need to submit certain paperwork or I would not gain access to the property and that check in would also now be one hour after listing time on the property listing. This was a huge inconvenience since my family and I had already arranged travel plans for the next morning and organized estimated arrival time. I hurried to submit the required paperwork first thing in the morning so my family and I could gain access to our property as planned but an hour later. When I expressed this frustration the new Management company simply stated, "As I explained before, since you booked things have changed with the owner hiring us to manage the property." Thankfully we still were able to proceed with our trip as I was worried that they would end up canceling our reservation altogether. After leaving the property, the management company said 4 beach towels were missing and I would be charged for the towels. I have fully unpacked every single item from the trip and let them know that our family did not in fact accidently take any towels off the premise. After following up may times to get this resolved with no response. The management company just stated, "I think someone has the wrong count. We are charging you for the amount of 4 missing towels. Thank you and goodbye." This us an unacceptable way to do business. Although the property owner seemed very nice, I would not recommend having to go through the headache of dealing with their new management company, Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals.

Everything was fabulous. We really enjoyed everything. Can't wait to go back and rent this property again.

I took my 70 something parents and my 20 something kiddos and we had a wonderful time. Everything you need for the beach is provided including lush beach towels and boogie boards. Friday night Fireworks can be seen from the balcony. Location is excellent.

Overall this property was great. We had the pool to ourselves the entire time amd it was nice and warm. Having 3 full restrooms was great so multiple of us could take a shower at the same time. Having tvs all throughout the house was great. My main complaint was that the upstairs bedrooms are listed as a king size bed and a queen size bed. However the queen size was actually a full size bed. My kids tried sharing the full size bed, but it didn't work out. So we had to switch things up. This would be the only reason I would not book this property again if the same 6 of us went. If it's only 4 of us, then we definitely will. Thanks again for having a pool at your property, it really was the best part!

The home was clean and tidy. Only the downstairs bathroom had soap products so we had to buy some products. That was the only minor issue. Plenty of towels in all three bathrooms but guests should bring own beach towels. Pool and hot tub were great. Very short walk to the beach. Downstairs is great if traveling with elderly or handicap who can’t use stairs. There’s a handicap access beach ramp a block away w great parking if the block walk is too much. There is a small apartment attached to the home w long term lease but we didn’t really see them and never had issue with sharing the pool area - they never used it. I’ve stayed at fancier beach front homes that cost way way more, so I thought this home was great for the price point. I did have to call the manager on the day of check in because had not received instructions for check in. There were also no check out instructions so hopefully we did ok with that. I’d stay again.

It was a great way to celebrate my 50th birthday

The house was perfect for my family and I. We really enjoyed the pool. It was also great that they allowed dogs as we had to bring our 2 dogs. Ana was VERY fast at responding and making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this property.

Our family stayed here for close to a week. Great house, very clean and roomy - we had a ton of space to spread out and a great upstairs living room we used for board games at night. 5 minute walk to the beach was wonderful. Ana was easy to reach and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had.

If you are looking for a nice getaway to SPI, DO NOT STAY HERE. If those last four words haven't changed your mind, let me enlighten you about our stay. When we walked through the door we noticed that the home does not adequately represent any of the photos listed for the property. The home DEFINITELY needed some TLC. The walls, cabinets, couches and floor were filthy. We spent the entire evening sweeping and washing all of the bath matts, because there was sand everywhere. We had to cover the couches with towels because they were disgusting! Looked like the owner had never stepped foot into the house. We notified the property manager and she offered to have house cleaning come and take care of it, but we had already finished cleaning at that point. The pool was also dirty and she did have someone come clean the pool the next day. Despite all of that, we wanted to enjoy ourselves in what was supposed to be our *OWN PRIVATE HOME WITH A PRIVATE POOL * (that was under the property description when I rented it) but we had been fooled. The next day around 3 pm the property manager told someone else was checking in. Checking in? This was supposed to be a private home? That's what we payed $2,600 for 3 nights for. (Ridiculous, I know) We thought there was some kind of mistake. But no. We had no idea there was a separate apartment attached to the house on the side. A family of at least 10 had checked in. Talk about FIRE HAZARD! Besides that, the owner completely breeched our contract and refused to answer any of our calls and text to address the situation. The only response we received from her was to tell us it was" too late to cancel" . At this point we were furious. There were no curtains or shades to the back yard/ pool and the other family could see directly into the home. There was no privacy what so ever. The property manager felt so bad for us but there was nothing she could do except give us the owners number. After hours of trying to reach the owner, (who mind you, lived at SPI) and still no word from her we decided to pack up and leave in the morning. ( A day early) All we wanted was our money back. Rightfully, since she breeched the contract. But still nothing to this day. Our stay was supposed to be from 7/8-7/11. And if that still didn't change your mind, VRBO does not care about the situation or their customers. On the phone with them for 3 + hours only to get hung up on. Still haven't received a refund. Please rent local.
