Maybe a carpet in the hallway to absorb some noise? Otherwise the place was perfect!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. She replies really fast and always asks if we need help. The room is spacious and cosy. Thank goodness they have room on the ground floor. The room is disabled-friendly. Lastly, the sunset from the room view is splendid.

Located in the center of town near the ferry. Bedroom, bathroom and general areas spotless. Kriztina who was the hostess took really great care of us, really sweet and accommodating. Wish they had more properties around the island!

The optional breakfast buffet was a little limited and we thought it could be better priced. However, it was laid out with care.

Akkeri Guesthouse is a very charming and well maintained property downtown Stykkishólmur close to the harbour. It has parking places in front of the house, so very comfortable if you are coming by car (like probably most people do). In front of the house is a nice wooden terrace, where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun with a cup of coffee. Inside there is a shared living/breakfast place with a couple of tables. We had a room on the ground floor. Good beds, very clean and a good shower. It is possible to open a window to get some fresh air in, something we always really appreciate. The guesthouse has a very good atmosphere. Also the owners are really nice and friendly persons. If you like, you can have breakfast, something I would definitely recommend. It was really nice being here - thank you again!

If you are lucky, you may have the place for yourself or maybe with another couple. At the time we were staying, we had quite some people living in the room above us, which was slightly noisy in the evening due to contact sounds. But well, we shouldn't complain, it really is a great place to stay

Was one of our favorite places we stayed at during our ring road trip. Amazing breakfast options, nice bed and bathroom, great view. Also the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
