The location was ideal to explore the region. It was a cottage so we had no breakfast, but fresh milk from the farm was in the fridge as a nice bonus.

The double bed was a little small especially when you’re used to a king size bed.

In an ideal location for visiting the area around Thirsk. Easy to find, but far enough off the main road to be in peaceful surroundings.

As we were a party of six, the cottage was perfect. Downstairs bedrooms, upstairs a lovely lounge/kitchen area. Warm, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Set in a quiet location, 10 minutes drive from Thirsk, with walks up to Sutton Bank taking about an hour. Can recommend, brilliant place. We didn't use the laundry, but it's there for next time....

The accommodation is lovely with the upside down living arrangement's. It was great to take the twins (18 months) around the farm in the morning and help feed the animals. Was also great that we got invited to the families private bonfire too, a lovely extra touch.
