The best part was the view into the charming village in which it's located and the whole Tuscan atmosphere and vibe. Communication with the host was easy and fluent. The surroundings are a very pleasant sight, with vineyards and green forest all around. As far as the apartment goes, all the indispensables are provided.

We didn't have any issues. But just a few things future guest should know: you'll have to find parking a little bit further from the accommodation. And get bottled water before you arrive if you can.

The accommodation is in a small town between the montains. The apartment is located on the second floor. It was nice, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. The double bed in the bedroom was big and comfortable, but the separate bed squeaked terribly. The sofa bed in the living room was uncomfortable and full of holes. It's not the accomodation's fault, but when we were there, the bell rang every half hour, twice, also at night, which can be quite disturbing. The host was very kind, and helped with everything.

Nice Appartement in a great location

Palaia is a very nice little city. The apartment is in the center of it. There are couple of very nice restaurants around. Host is super nice. We didn't have any troubles while staying. Public parking is available and free in about 150 meters from the apartment and it looks safe, too. Palaia is a very little city though. Based on my opinion, it is perfect for somebody who wants to do daily trips around Tuscany and then come back every evening. Not sure if there is much to do there during the day. This is also how we did it. Probably wouldn't recommend it for anybody coming without his own transport.
