quality of bed, bedding, air quality / ventilation was poor, we were sneezing every night, and generally very small living area with no access to backyard unfortunately. Drains easily clogged.

The location in Foz do Douro is exceptional and the flat with garden was superbly equipped. the kitchen, fridge, the combi oven, etc are top, The TV system provides 100+ channels. The calm of the garden while enjoying a glass of Vinho Verde

Very complicated to figure out the keys

Very relaxing and comfortable. Location was very good, easy to catch the bus to the historic district or walk a few blocks to the beach.

The apartament perfectly fitted our needs: quiet location, close to the ocean, amazing number of restaurants on the same street. The real garden in the city you normally do not expect. And finallly big thanks for host's hospitality especially for the arrangement of transport to the airport when the transportation company and Booking.com left us the very last moment without any support.

What I saw on their booking.com page

The responsible didn't show up for the check-in and the google maps link they shared at booking.com is not accurate. The annex they are renting belongs to a house (the one in the pictures) where people live and they use the garden we see on the pictures to make barbecues, listen to music and play with friends. The annex´s entry is a wide window/door. To have privacy, you have to close a blackout and stay in the dark. Otherwise, the people that live in the house that shares the garden see all you are doing. When we came back to sleep on the first night, we found 3 little spiders on the bed. On the second day there was no hot water. When we called, the responsible (André) told us he couldn't do anything in the next hour. After a brief discussion, he told me to leave that he would tell booking to reimburse us. Now he doesn't answer my phone calls and did not authorize booking to refund us.
