Perfect cottage in a perfect location with perfect hosts equals perfect stay in Stuart.

Former resident of Stuart very familiar with the neighborhood where this property is located so I readily booked Vincent and Julia's property for a three week stay to visit family. The location is perfect, halfway between Stuart's lovely downtown area and Hutchinson Island's beaches. The hosts provided everthing to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry with plenty of space to spread out with two inside sitting areas, along with a back patio in a lush, tropical fenced backyard. A short walk to the end of the private street to a green space and dock with seating to watch gorgeous sunsets over the St. Lucie River. The host met me upon arrival to introduce himself, explain various special features of the property, and go over the community rules. Vincent and Julia always notified me when they planned to be on property to complete landscaping and other outside chores. I plan to return soon.

Excellent - Couldn't be any better.

We loved staying at this home and it was one of the better places that we have stayed for the winter. It had a good amount of space with a separate family and living room. Nice kitchen with lots of cabinets and it was well stocked for anything you needed for your visit The sliding screen doors were a plus, letting a wonderful breeze through the house. It also had nice outdoor spaces, and a friendly neighborhood with access to the dock. We will definitely be back.

Vince and Julia made me feel so welcome. Their cottage is lovely as is their beautiful private gardens and yard. They quickly responded to any question I had. And after 3 weeks, it was hard to leave. I wanted to stay forever.

This wasy second time staying in Vince's and Julia's house. I have stayed in many homestays over the years and as far as cleanliness and decor this home is in a class by itself. Julia and Vince are nearby, friendly, and accomodating but not intrusive. The location is convenient to the beaches on Hutchinson island and the neighborhood is beautiful. You won't be disappointed. We had not been to Stuart, FL before staying for 6 weeks in November and part of December and fell in love with the small town feel of the area. The proximity to the ocean (about 10 minute drive) and excellent local restaurants made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will be back to Stuart and explore further.

Location location
Location and price was reason for booking. It was a good base for us to check out all the area offers and proximity to the beaches and golf courses. Just wish one of the beds had been a king. Hosts were attentive and available to assist with any questions.

One of kind
The first thing I noticed when I arrived is that Vincent's and Julia's house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. They took the time to decorate it in a manner that makes a person feel like it is truly a home. A lot thought and time went into this. I stayed there 18 days and felt very much at home. The gardens are beautiful and the back patio is a pleasant place to relax. The location is perfect too. Close to everything but very quiet and peaceful.

Quiet retreat
My husband , dog and I stayed here for 10 days . The location was ideal , close to downtown shops and restaurants and the beaches. and in a quiet walkable neighborhood .The home was clean , comfortable and more spacious than the pictures show. It had everything you could need. The owners were available if you needed anything. The yard was nicely landscaped and well cared for.
Will definitely be coming back .

Right from the beginning, Vince and Julie were in touch to provide information. The property provided parking, a full kitchen, front and back outside seating in lush garden settings, with AC should you need it. The cottage makes you feel as a local, having the privilege of staying there. Julia and Vince are exceptional at making you feel at home.

200 Sailfish is a lovely spot on a quiet street. A beautiful sunset. Close to beaches, grocery, etc. I really enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful vacation spot in Stuart
We rented the Sailfish Cottage in Stuart and had a wonderful time! The owners, Vince and Julia, were spot on with their description of the property and their attention to detail. Just the best
This property is one of the most beautiful on the street with the lovely gardens in front and back tended by Julia daily. Vince and Julia were right there to answer any questions and give help if needed. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Very Enjoyable Stay
This was our third time staying at Sailfish Cottage. Vince and Julia are very attentive hosts should any need arise. The location is central to the area… downtown Stuart and Federal Hwy (US 1) is close by and the beaches of South Hutchinson Island are a short, scenic drive away. The neighborhood is friendly, easy-paced and quiet, a perfect property to base your activities from. We look forward to returning in the future to the comforts of Sailfish Cottage.

Comfortable and attractive
We stayed here a little over a month while prepping our boat to launch from a nearby boatyard. It was a pleasure to end our work days at this house with its lovely landscaping and nicely decorated interior. Very comfortable queen bed for a great rest. A garden retreat out the back door, with table, chairs, awning and grill. The owners had the house spotless for our arrival and deep cleaning was obviously done with precision. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook and the area has many grocery delivery services, which we were glad to use during Covid times (in normal times, Stuart has many wonderful restaurants). Our daily walk down the street to the river's edge gave views of passing boats and wading birds. Good wifi too for streaming. Highly recommend this rental.

Lovely cottage in great location
Sailfish Cottage was the perfect place for us. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. The location is excellent, with easy access to downtown and beaches. Vince and Julia are very accessible and responsive to any problems. They sincerely care about the comfort of their guests. Vince and Julia are great hosts and I would highly recommend Sailfish Cottage to anyone visiting the Stuart area.

Home away from home
We loved it. The yard was beautiful the cottage was beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. The only complaint was they would come work in the yard and come in the back yard when you were home. We we’re done there working so we we’re gone from 6:30 to at least 4 or 5 , 6 days a week and had Sunday off. They had plenty of time to do what they needed to do to the yard. I didn’t need to watch her plant flowers in short shorts . That’s all. At least when you seen our trucks there don’t come in the yard... but other then that it was great!!!

What a great stay!!
We had a great stay at Vince & Julia's place. It was clean and homey. It was a home away from home for us. We stayed there for 3 weeks and it was a great trip. The location was fabulous and Vince & Julia were very accessible. I would recommend this home to anyone staying in the Stuart area.

Little bit of Paradise
The Sailfish Cottage was a great find. The cottage is bigger than it looks online and was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting out on the bench in the front or in the backyard with the lovely flower and herb gardens. The owners Julia and Vince were readily available to answer any questions. Very nice neighborhood. Already booked for next year!

Sweet Stylish Sailfish Cottage
Vince and Julia are excellent property owners.
Their cottage is so comfy and organized for guests.
The cottage is equipped with all one’s needs.
The back patio is filled with beautiful blooming plants and flowers. The patio is such a great spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine.
The beach is ten minutes away from the cottage.
One block away from the cottage one can walk to restaurants and shops!
We would definitely return to Sweet Stylish Sailfish Cottage.

Our stay at Sailfish Cottage
Quiet, friendly neighborhood in a convenient, central location. Cottage has adequate space, is well maintained and is very nicely decorated. Vince and Julia are very attentive hosts, accessible and responsive. Provided us with recommendations of restaurants, places to shop and things to do in the area. The back garden is very lush and peaceful and even has an occasional visit by a rabbit or squirrel. Note of caution - the smoke detector will go off if you burn your toast. We certainly enjoyed our stay at Sailfish Cottage and look forward to the opportunity to return.

We would definitely come back again. Vince and Julia are real nice people. It is close to our family who live in Martin County and close to the hospital when my husband had to have his appendix out the third day we were here.

A beautiful place to stay.
The rental was very nice. The inside was laid out and furnished really nice. There is more room than you think. Everything you would need is there. The bed was comfortable, there was only 2 of us staying so we didn’t use the other bed. The house inside and out was really clean. The back patio area is tastefully planted and very relaxing. The owners are very responsive and really nice. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. It’s also located in a really nice area.

Perfect Vacation Location!
The owners, Vince and Julia, have created the perfect getaway! Everything you need is provided from cooking implements to fresh towels. Access to the waterfront dock with your cup of coffee is a fabulous way to start the day! Master bedroom has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced. Stuart is a quaint vacation destination with several venues for entertainment. Thank you Vince and Julia for an exceptional vacation!

Friendly & quiet little neighborhood
Thanks to Vince & Julia for the lovely stay at Sailfish Cottage. We were in transition from Maryland and Sailfish fit the bill perfectly. Vince & Julia were attentive to our needs and the house was well stocked with necessities. Plenty of storage, great outdoor space (for my boxer, Rocky too) and fabulously clean. Beaches and great local restaurants in close proximity. Great for fishing at the neighborhood pier, evening sunset walks and biking. Would highly recommend and if ever needed, would absolutely stay again. Cheers!

Great weather in Stuart, Florida
We spent 2 months at Vince's home at Sailfish lane. The house was very nice, nicely decorated and all new furniture. Vince was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Sailfish cottage was Perfect!
The cottage has everything you need for a great vacation. Very clean and functional. Vincent and Julia were the best! They are extremely helpful and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Stuart FL is a great area with lots to do. We booked again for next year! Book this rental without hesitation. We had a great time with absolutely no regrets.
