The rental house was just as advertised. It was very clean and had all the amenities we would want, plus some extra perks from our hosts. Check in was very easy and there was great communication with our hosts. There are two bedrooms upstairs with comfortable beds. There was a small covered porch outside one of the bedrooms. There is a Toto toilet in the bathroom.
It was very hot in Portland during our stay, so the upstairs and downstairs air conditioning kept us very comfortable. There was a nearby street light and a motion sensor on the garage as we approached the house. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It is a short walk down Alberta Street to food trucks, restaurants and shops. There is a grocery store less than a block away.
We have stayed in several rentals in Portland before, but this place is our favorite. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was as described and pictured. The host was super helpful and the place was well-equipped. The breakfast items were a nice touch. This is a great neighborhood with places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Jennifer and James are truly in the business to provide clients with an amazing place to call home during your visit to Portland. My husband and I both decided if we were single and living in Portland this would be a great apartment. When we arrived it was welcoming to know that we didn't have to hit the grocery store that night. They provided everything you would need for breakfast. This quaint VRBO had more than just what we needed it also provided things we wanted. This may sound weird but if you stay here you will probably want to add a Bidet to your own bathroom. I do! If I ever get back to Portland I will be staying here again. Thank you for being amazing hosts.

We absolutely loved this rental. It was perfect for the 3 of us. Everything was so clean and exactly as described in the listing. The owners were super easy to work with and the unit is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I also really appreciated all the extra touches! Thank you so much- I would love to stay here again!

The hosts have thought of everything. Great amenities; fun little surprises. And no rules book that makes you feel as if you are in second grade being yelled at by the teacher before you even do anything wrong. Said another way, guests are treated as adults and that's a welcoming experience. Perfect location; quiet neighborhood. Easy walking to lots of high quality food and coffee. This VRBO has now become my go-to place when visiting Portland. Thank you hosts!

This property is the nicest cottage I've ever stayed in. It's very well appointed with things you might need, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. We didn't do any cooking but easily could have. It's lovely, nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and beds, just a very well designed cottage. Exceptionally clean. Love the Portland-themed decor and the books and brochures were helpful. The owners are lovely people. My family and I highly recommend this place.

Great, quiet location! Safe! We took the bus to and from the convention center everyday and never felt unsafe. It was convenient. We also walked from the convention center to the apartment. Longer walk but it allowed us to explore the neighborhood. Our hosts were kind and discrete! I would recommend for a business or family vacation.

This one of the best rentals we've stayed at. It's adorable, very clean and communication with owners was friendly and timely. It was stocked with everything we'd need and more. Location was great and made it easy to get around town and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

This beautiful space was a wonderful place to chill for a much needed get-away with family. The location was wonderful. Walkable to a nearby brewery and within a 15 minutes drive to almost anything else you'd want to do in the city. We appreciated the impeccable workmanship of the apt. and took full advantage of the balcony and patio area of the property. Owner was pleasant, welcoming, and easy to reach. I'd highly recommend this space if you're looking for a place to stay in the Portland area.

Enjoyed the neighborhood and access to shops and public transport
There were three of us (adults). This is a guest house with its own entrance and a lovely balcony seating area on the second floor. The kitchen was stocked with freshly ground coffee and English muffins and butter. The bath and kitchen had everything we needed. The grocery store location was a walkable distance. There were several bus stops within walking distance. We always like using the buses and trains since those amenities are not available in our home location. Communication was easy. We enjoyed the privacy. Everything was very clean and well kept. Instructions were available. Check out was easy. We would stay here again.

This place had everything we needed and was close to everywhere we needed and wanted to be. We had clear and easy instructions on how to use their place. Very clean and cozy. My kids loved it and we would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed and good location
The house was small but accommodated our family of 4. The location was lovely. We could walk to food trucks and the grocery. It was about the nicest Vrbo we’ve ever been to in terms of the amenities and appliances. It had lots of nice touches and excellent coffee! I would highly recommend.

Let me start by saying I wish I was lucky enough to have a rental property like this one! The hosts have invested time, money and a good deal of consideration to make this one of the best-valued rentals I've ever stayed at.

This was an ideal property for a long weekend getaway in Portland, OR. Close to everything with a great neighborhood and grocery/shops within walking distance. The upstairs balcony is great for reading and relaxing. Would highly recommend this property!

Centrally located in Portland
Our family enjoyed our stay in this rental. The amenities are excellent and the kitchen is properly equipped with everything you’ll need to cook. I suggest you check in before going to the market as their pantry is well stocked. Market is 2 minute walk from this place. It was in a quiet neighborhood and amazing restaurants and coffee shops within a mile or less. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was great and in an amazing location. Several shop and stores are within walking distance and a quick ride share to downtown. Everything in the house was clean and well organized.

Great little house!
This spot was a perfect home base for our first experience visiting Portland and the surrounding area- no more than a 15 minute drive anywhere and also very walkable to dining and shopping for several areas. The house was super clean, well taken care of and very quiet. The hosts were very attentive also. We had a great week!

great place in quiet neighborhood
This is a first-class spot. The knives were sharp, the beds were comfortable. We began each morning of our five night stay sipping coffee on our upstairs porch, overlooking a quiet city street, watching the squirrels racing across the wires. Then, in the evenings, we had our happy hour in our private patio downstairs. Just one block away is an outstanding micro-brewery and pizza parlor. The place is easy to find, and easy to navigate around. Our hosts, Jennifer and James, were very outgoing; we spent several delightful hours conversing with them over glasses of Oregon wine. This will be our place to stay whenever we visit our family and friends again.

Great experience in Portland!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, comfortable and private. Great location. James and Jennifer were extremely attentive when we had a couple questions/needs. Especially enjoyed sitting on deck in the evenings. I would definitely stay there again!

Well Kept Secret
The location was amazing; very friendly neighborhood & it was near bars, restaurants and cool small business shops. The house itself was perfect for our group. It was clean & comfortable; it's clear they've put a lot of work into the home. The owner was friendly & gave an awesome eatery recommendation.

My three teens and I stayed here while visiting Portland for the first time. It was such a nice, quiet place to stay and we felt very safe. Within walking distance to shopping, food and coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Portland graduation party!
Our family stayed in this house for four days and because of the pandemic we were able to enjoy a zoom graduation in a very comfortable environment. The hosts were welcoming and the neighborhood is charming for lovely walks past beautiful gardens

Lovely
Staying in Portland to visit our son and granddaughter. The accommodations were great, such a beautiful place to stay. Everything was cleaned and well stocked, decorated wonderfully. It was great to wake up after traveling cross country to eggs, muffins and coffee to prepare did not have to leave and go get breakfast. This will be our go to spot from now on when visiting Portland. The owners communicated well and were very nice.

Hospitality At It's Best!
One of the biggest reasons our family enjoys vacation rentals is that we cook our own meals together. The hosts of this VRBO thought of everything right down to the meat thermometer and waffle maker. Well kept and organized, too! Additionally, the added touches of fresh eggs and half & half, spare toothbrushes, should you need one, and lovely local artistry arranged on the walls, makes this house a home, even for weekend visitors. Hospitality at it's best.
