The property was beautiful set in a peaceful large garden with a lake and abundant wildlife. We were welcomed by the owner, Jean, and she had spoilt us with bread, butter, home made jam, eggs and fruit juice provided. We stayed two nights but would have liked to stay longer. Definitely one to return to.
Jean has thought of everything so there isn't anything we didn't like. There is a trainline near the property but the sound is not obtrusive and it was quiet at night.

The photos don't do the lodge the justice it deserves. Perfect little getaway in the countryside. Vast gardens and lake. Jean the host was wonderfully welcoming with her homemade bread and jams. The kids loved the toys and DVDs provided. They loved picking apples and blackberries from the garden, spotting rabbits, hens and ducks by the lake.
The lodge was clean and had all the amenities needed for a cosy stay. Thank you Jean for a wonderful holiday. Also close by was a local pub Railway Tavern which did great food!

The location of the property is lovely, with extensive grounds and a lake. The property is comfortable and very well equipped. Liked having an en-suite and a separate bathroom. The welcome pack was very good and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We found the mattress a little too soft for our preference and a larger duvet would be a good idea. Our main difficulty was the cockerel who woke us up very early in the morning and the train noise. We hadn’t realised the line was quite so close.

Location and facilities.the owners are very friendly and welcoming.
The double bed mattress was soft and the bed frame creeks, small points I know, but, when the nights sleep is disturbed then your on the back foot for the rest of the day.

Beautiful, idyllic, a great place to simply unwind. Welcoming hosts and accommodation perfect ! Can't wait to return.

Excellent location for a wedding at the Little Gree. wedding Barn. Nice touch with a welcome pack and good they had items like oil, salt and pepper at the venue already.

Lake View is a beautiful place to stay, the view of the lake and garden from the living room and master bedroom is great. Facilities wise, we had use of pool table, darts and ping pong table, as well as golf clubs, bbq, books, cds, dvds and a comprehensive folder of things to do in the area.. We also found on our arrival a loaf of homemade bread and fresh eggs from the resident chickens.

Wonderful rural location. Amazing facilities especially in out buildings, e.g. pool table, table tennis, table football, darts. Outside is stunning, fishing lake, 4 hole pitch & putt, picnic tables, BBQ.
The hostess met us & had provided complimentary things including free range eggs from their hens & freshly made bread... Which we liked so much we bought more for the next day.
I wish we had booked for longer & would definitely recommend to friends.

Spotlessly clean, loved the welcome hamper including the treats for the dogs. The owners are the most perfect hosts, available if we needed them.

We arrived to an amazing welcome pack that included fresh homemade bread, eggs and orange juice as well as a welcome pack for our dog. The rooms were well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing break
Only thing was probably the poor wifi signal but again there was other things to keep us entertained.

The Welcoming touches like a baked wholemeal loaf and half dozen fresh eggs from the hens. A superb view of the lake and wildlife surrounding it... Great place for a quite break. There are games rooms for children if needed and the lake has carp if you're a fisherman....I am a returning visitor and loved it both times.

The location was amazing with beautiful accessible grounds.We had everything we needed for a very relaxing four night stay.The host had made every effort to made it an enjoyable stay including a games room with table tennis,darts etc.The accommodation was spotless.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

The spacious extremely well-equipped accommodation,, especially the kitchen, TV's in both bedrooms, lovely location, opening doors looking out onto the lake. Welcoming hosts and little touches such as eggs (from their own hens), home made bread and fruit left.
We noticed the noise of the trains going by from the nearby railway line from the bedrooms. although it did not stop us from sleeping.
