Un apartamento cómodo y bien equipado con vistas a montañas distantes, ubicado en un bosque junto a una calle sin salida al lado del Centro Aviemore, a solo unos minutos a pie de la estación de tren, tiendas, restaurantes, etc. Aviemore es un popular complejo vacacional ubicado en las montañas Cairngorm en las Highlands de Escocia. perfecto para caminar, andar en bicicleta, vida salvaje, observación de aves y deportes acuáticos. En invierno se puede disfrutar del esquí y es ideal tanto para deportes de verano como de invierno y para hacer turismo. El paisaje es espectacular y la vida silvestre abundante, como se ve en la BBC 'Spring Watch'.
El piso está situado en el centro del pueblo, a poca distancia de la estación, tiendas, restaurantes, bares, etc. Está alejado de la carretera principal en un entorno arbolado junto al complejo hotelero MacDonald con vistas a la montaña. Tiene capacidad para cuatro adultos cómodamente con la posibilidad de alojar también a un niño pequeño. El alojamiento está bien equipado y de alto nivel, con una sensación de "hogar lejos del hogar" y confortable. Hay un amplio estacionamiento y espacio para guardar bicicletas / esquís / cochecitos.
También dentro de cinco minutos a pie se encuentra una reserva natural, un lago de truchas (donde se puede ver Osprey) y el recientemente renovado centro de Aviemore con una piscina, sauna y otras instalaciones deportivas súper nuevas. Hay muchas excursiones para explorar el Parque Nacional de Cairngorms (por ejemplo, para dar un paseo en trineo tirado por perros esquimales, para alimentar a los renos) o más lejos a Inverness, Culloden, Braemar, etc.

Wwe had a wonderful few days finding Munros to climb near Aviemore. Local bus services are great although there are not many. Aviemore seems to have lost some of its shops and restaurants. Lucikly Tesco is open until 10pm , which makes self catering a challenge if like us you re out all day,

Comfortable top floor flat, all clean and well provisioned.
Personally did not use all facilities as was out most of time.
Would definitely stay in this property again.

Property is dark (almost completely surrounded by trees on all sides) and old fashioned. Beds are hard. Only got a key for the flat - not one for the main door. Good shower. Reasonable size. Kitchen and equipment was antiquated and a number of unnecessary items of equipment (e.g an oven tray that didn't fit in the oven).Enjoyed Aviemore and the proximity to the centre of the town and all its facilities.

Great location right in Aviemore with short walks to shops, pubs and restaurants. A very warm comfortable flat which was ideal for a short 3 day stay arranged at the late minute. Excellent communication from host Jackie.

Grampian Court in Aviemore
I will try to summarise our stay at this property and in Aviemore as much as I can even tho I think it will be impossible. Let's go...
10 times AMAZING and we still think that isn't enough to describe the property and the place. We arrived on 29/12/21 and left today 02/01/22 and it was all amazing the communication about the property, how to get there, where to go, what to do it was well informed by the property owner Jackie, everything well explained for the check in and check out and she was very keen to help with everything, as she said whatever the problem big or small please to be in touch with her and she would sort, however I am so glad that with everything that she guide us, was all trouble free. The flat is very nice very cosy and Aviemore is a dream the people is so welcoming that I was thinking to keep this review about the flat and the city only for me so the people over there maybe would keep all this essence and hospitality for when we come back again but my partner said share the experience because for sure they will keep the hospitality is clear it come from their essence. I highly recommend grampian Court flat with Jackie and I highly recommend Aviemore we stay in the winter and for sure we will come back in the summer. But to whatever who is reading this I will tell you something my partner told me to write our experience, but I tell you something if u ready this and experience what we experienced the same magic moment in this place and could be able to keep this a secret, more will be the chance to have this flat empty for the next time when we want to go again lol 😉.

The place was filthy.
In the Flat it smelled like marijuana from the neighbours flats, the bath was filled with long dark hair, all of the mirrors were covered with dust, in the Cubboard there were just two forks for a family of five people, the owner of the flat reacted hostile to the complaints, the location was good and the beds were clean.

Perfect Host and Location
Host:
The host was very easy to deal with and made everything easy, good communicator.

The location was perfectly located.
Parking:
Parking was very easy and we managed to get the same spot every time we came back from our days activities.
Flat:
The flat itself was nice a spacious, nice to have a dining table. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery.
Nice to have hand soap and towels provided but would of been nice to have 2 sets of each towel due to us being here for 5 days.
There was a washing machine but no drier but there was a clothes horse which was broken.
The flat was quiet even with neighbours below us but the floorboards were very creaky in the flat itself.
The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage.
All beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable and i would say this was down to probably needing new mattresses/beds.
The living room was spacious but again unfortunately the sofas were uncomfortable to sit on any length of time.
As before the host, location & flat were ideal.

Family get away long weekend
This property was excellent for our needs and so we’ll places for a very short walk to town for restaurants and shops. Good facilities too. Couldn’t fault it and my kids really enjoyed there stay and the space we had. Would defo book again.

Dated property
This property is a very dated property a lot of the things in the property need updating ie any kitchen appliance, The beds had a lot to be desired especially the single bed the springs where uncomfortable and the bed was squeaky. We where also told to leave earlier than previously told to us by the property manager because the they needed us out earlier because other customers where coming later in the day. Overall I didn’t enjoy my stay and would not recommend…

Perfect for a small family
We loved staying in the flat. It was ideally located for the Cairngorms, for activities around Aviemore and the wider area even as far as the western Highlands.
Well stocked kitchen and clean flat. The owner was helpful throughout with helpful tips. Definitely going back.

This was a cosy apartment situated in a quiet part of aviemore,it was a home from home for us as we also live in a flat so it was good,we didn’t use the kitchen as we were always out but it was a great kitchen with all the appliances for use.over all we really enjoyed our stay in aviemore and staying at this apartment made it so handy to just walk into town which took about 2 minutes. Would highly recommend this for a couple or a family as it’s close to the amenities.

Prima flat super locatie
We zijn gezin met 1 kind van 7. Prima flat met 2 slaapkamers en een bad en verder alles wat je nodig hebt. Wat locatie betreft echt super. Op loopafstand van winkeltjes/restaurantjes. Vlakbij de afslag naar de cairngorm mountains voor diverse wandelingen. (Green loch, loch of eilein, loch morlich of de cairn gorm zelf op en met treintje terug.) Achter de flat ligt het macdonald resort waar je naar de bios kan of eten of naar binnenspeelplaats voor kinderen. Verder fijne communicatie en uitleg eigenaar.

Great Location and Affordable
The apartment was in walking distance of the quaint town of Aviemore. You need a car or bike to explore the national park but restaurants and pubs are close by. This unit is on the 3rd floor so that should be added to the description. But for the price- it was a great base camp for the week in the Highlands.

Ideal Getaway
Property is good value and in an ideal location for Aviemore amenities but immediate area is away from the bustle of the town centre. Flat is well equipped the only negative is the access via flights of stairs so possibly not ideal if one has mobility issues.
Plenty of storage space in building for bicycles etc, although I would recommend bringing a security lock if your bike is valuable.
Communication from the landlady was top class and the sun even put in an appearance during our weeks stay.
Ideal for small family or any group requiring two bedrooms.
