The house is in a great location near the center of town and a couple of blocks from the beach. Everything was in great working order and the kitchen is well appointed. The beach box with chairs and umbrellas is a great convenience!

Great property in short walking distance to everything what Cape May has to offer. Lisa is wonderful person to deal with. Our group of 6 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful time. House is very spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Kids enjoyed the backyard, toys, and books.

Cape May Family Vacation
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect and extras such as bikes, chairs, boogie boards was a nice extra. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The owners was very attentive to our questions and needs.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Myself and 5 friends rented this property for a relaxing bachelorette get away. Upon arrival, there were a few things we noticed in terms of cleanliness. However, it wasn’t until that night when we were going to sleep when we found stains on blankets and hair on sheets. It was very clear these blankets had not been washed. At 11pm, we were inconvenienced with going to Walmart to buy blankets. The next day, an 85 degree day, the air conditioning stopped working. We spend the entire day and night without AC in brutal heat. We reached out to the host who assured us that someone would be going to fix it the next day, despite the fact that we were leaving the next day and therefore we had no choice but to sleep in these awful conditions. Both the host Lisa and VRBO have been extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic to our situation. What was supposed to be a relaxing bachelorette turning into an unsuccessful attempt to find any available hotel in the area, scrambling for relief from the brutal heat and humidity. Do not stay here. Lisa will advertise that there is AC when it is very clearly on its last leg and needs maintenance. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere where the host cares about you enjoying your stay and your well-being.

Perfect bachelorette weekend!
This house was PERFECT. The location was in walking distance to everything including the beach. Beautiful, huge backyard. Would definitely recommend. Lisa was also always available when I had questions prior to our trip & she even checked in during.

Centrally located
Lisa’s place was centrally located, park your car and enjoy Cape May on foot. One group was able to walk to the beach, while another was able to enjoy the town. The location could not have been any better. The house was well equipped with everything a family could need for a short or long stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of positives with this property! Very clean and bright! The landlord was very attentive! Beach box included. Shower stalls a little tight and couches could be a little more comfortable , but overall a very nice place to stay! Thanks Lisa!

Wonderful property and location
This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this home. For the price and the location it is 100% a great value. The house could use some upgrades however. The ceiling in the kitchen is peeling and appears to have water damage, the front porch as wood that is splitting and rotting and the back yard space could use an upgrade.
At the risk of being overly picky, this house was PERFECT for what we were looking for and we wouldn't think twice before renting it again. We would highly recommend the property to prospective buyers.

Easy Beach Living
So close to the beach and the use of the beach box made it easy to go to the beach for a few hours or just 20 minutes without all the hassle of carrying chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.

We were so thankful to find a house on somewhat short notice that accepted pets (our pandemic puppy!) and was in such a great location in Cape May. Plenty of space, huge backyard for our pup to run around and walking distance to everything! We also appreciated Lisa being a great communicator!

Wonderful experience!
We have been lifelong fans of Cape May and the region, having stayed in multiple locations on the island. This location as superb for easy access to the beach, shopping and the restaurants. Also the owner was very accommodating and punctual in handling any of our needs. The beach box and bikes were a particularly nice add on. We highly recommend this property to others and will be back!

Loved the location and the the size of the house was perfect for our group.
The house could use some small updates (stain the front porch, touch up paint, update the showers - both inside and out, add a back yard deck or patio) - but outside of those small things it was amazing.
We would absolutely rent this property again.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable
We had a wonderful stay in Lisa’s property June 2020. The house was clean on arrival, plenty of space for several adults and a young child. Kitchen was fully stocked, beach box had plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and the location was absolutely perfect. Lisa was very responsive throughout our stay. We will definitely book this property again!

Great property for Thanksgiving weekend. Nice large table, easy to use kitchen- could use a few more pots, pans, etc. Very close to town, retail, beach, and Congress Hall.

Fun July 4th in Cape May
This a nice house, very close to beach and restaurants/shopping. Owners were very communicative and responsive. The house has spacious bedrooms and abundant bathrooms-- more than adequate for 5 adults and 2 small children. Driveway parking for two cars was convenient in such a popular neighborhood. Central A/C was great for a hot and muggy July 4th week. The only minor issue worth noting is the bed in the upstairs master bedroom is very squeaky/creaky-- not good when small children are occupying the adjoining small room. Any small movement in the bed creates noise that wakes up children and can even be heard from the master bedroom on the first floor (directly beneath). Despite this small issue, we had a very nice stay and would recommend it.

Great location, good house
We were very happy with location and overall condition of the house. However, just a couple issues. One, the kitchen is not well-outfitted for people who actually plan to cook. Very few utensils and cookware that we needed and no measuring devices whatsoever. Would have liked some kid-friendly bowls and plastic cups too. Two, the upstairs master bed and mattress should be replaced. It was the noisiest bed I have ever encountered and my husband just laying down sounded lucky we were really going at it. Mattress was very hard. Another couple said their twin beds in the back bedroom were loud as well. Showers are not quite as big as a phone booth, but that’s not bad for a week’s vacation. Felt it was a good house with kids, appreciated the bunk room and the first floor master and layout was perfect for my disabled father-in-law. My MIL commented it could not have been a better house for his needs.

Perfect from start to finish!!!
First, we are locals to Cape May, but needed a place to rent for our whole family to come and celebrate our son's high school graduation. We rented both sides to accommodate our family. It was absolutely perfect! The place was so clean and had everything! The location was ideal-close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Great location to take advantage of all Cape May has to offer. The back yard was perfect to have a family celebration. We even brought a volleyball net and corn hole to enjoy for the week! When we saw that they provided "beach chairs"-that was such an understatement! To our surprise there were chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and bikes! It was such fun!
Lisa went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I honestly have to say this was the nicest place we have ever stayed. A wonderful family vacation spot from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place if you want a perfect spot for a memorable vacation in Cape May!

Great beach house, perfect location
We spent the weekend in Cape May for a wedding and the house couldn't have been better. It was a perfect size for us (me, my wife, my 8 month old daughter, Mom and 8 year old lab) to stretch out and not be on top of each other. Tons of windows let in a lot of light and the house was nice and airy. I would absolutely recommend the house for a large family or several couples looking for a getaway.

PERFECT for a girls weekend getaway!
This place was perfect for our getaway weekend! Not easy to find a place with enough bathrooms and beds for 10 women and this place had lots of room! The house also has all the amenities you need and parking for at least 3 cars. 3 blocks to the beach and walking distance to the best parts of Cape May. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property near the end of the summer. Our group had two families of four. The location was great-you truly can walk everywhere and with little kids, that made things much easier. The house is well equipped and there was enough space for everyone to have their own bedroom. We also really appreciated having the backyard and grill. The owner was also very responsive, helpful and easy to work with.
The only reason I am not giving this property 5 stars is because the carpets either should be replaced or removed all together. Even though the house was very clean upon our arrival (surfaces and bathrooms were spotless), the carpet seems to be at a point where regular vacuuming may no longer be sufficient to keep it clean. The carpet was dirty and we could see it on our feet if we walked around downstairs without flip flops. While it was not a deal breaker (I would still recommend staying here-it is a vacation house, not a permanent residence after all), it was enough of an issue that I feel it's worth mentioning in my review. If you have babies or toddlers who will be on the floor, laying a blanket down to cover it would be a good idea.
Overall, this is a solid rental and we enjoyed our stay.

All vacations should be this ideal. Just finished a getaway with girlfriends, could not have asked for more. Charming, sunny & meticulous home, plenty of space was well as privacy for all. You can park your car & walk or bike yourself every where!
A 1 minute walk brings you to one of the best beaches ( i am a beach snob) and some of NJ's best restaurants ( restaurant snob too..) Wildlife & zoo are a lovely change of pace too. I will be returning with my family in the fall! It is truly peace meets perfection!

The front porch is perfect. The beds were so comfortable. The location is perfect for the beach and walks to really nice restaurants . This is a great house to soak in all Cape May has to offer.
