Spacious accommodation. Kitchen and bathroom clean but upon arrival the dryer was stuffed with a large blanket and bath towels which were not dry. Dryer vent full of lint. I finished drying these items as we needed washer and dryer. we did not find the back bedroom bed comfortable. Only a mattress no box spring. No complaints about other bed. AC units seemed not at 100%. Opened up and filters were quite dirty. once cleaned much better air flow. Overall good experience and this is a great location

This Victorian was indeed the perfect place to take in Charlestown, and all of Boston.
The combination of being right near the Whole Foods, and having one of the nicest kitchen setups I've seen, made dining-in as enjoyable as dining out; the unit was well stocked, and everything was so easy to find.
It was also nice to be close enough to walk down across the N Washington St bridge on the Freedom Train down into the North End for dinner, or head just behind the Whole Foods to pop into town on the Orange Line.
But since I was in town to enjoy the architecture, my favorite part was having the pleasure of returning to a such a gracious old building at the end of the day, helping make me feel like part of the town.

We had a wonderful stay in this property in Charlestown! The apartment was very clean and comfortable and gorgeous. The window units were plenty to keep us cool. Location is fantastic - easy walking distance to both bus and T lines, and grocery store and restaurants. Easy access to downtown Boston. Would love to stay here again. Checkout was super easy too.

The Charlestown VRBO exceeded our expectations . Very very cute and clean. Within walking distance to most of Boston's major sites, and coffee shops.

Spacious, beautiful stay for a graduation trip. Close to grocery store, wine store, Starbucks and an evening stroll up Bunker Hill. Only downside...an early heat wave before summer AC was installed. Thank goodness for fans!

A great place for Marathon weekend. Easy access to all that the city has to offer. So much to do nearby as well. Hosts were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Unit was exactly as described.

Our stay was wonderful: great kitchen, comfortable beds and a sweet view of bunker hill monument out the back window. We had difficulty with the lock box at the beginning. The levers were sticky and the box got jammed but the problem was solved. Overall experience was great. We would stay there again! Thank you!

Amazing location in the main artery of Charlestown. Walking distance to Bunker Hill and great restaurants. The condo is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. Photos do not do it justice! Will be staying here on my next visit!
Kristen was great to work with and responded immediately to questions.

This home is more charming and elegant than advertised. Safe neighborhood. Parking on street was easier than expected. Only recommendation is to have full cable access for TV. Ladies wanted to watch Christmas movie. Food tip: Bova’s, north end, Salem Street. 🙂

We loved the condo and the location. We stayed for 5 nights visiting family in the area. We were able to cook breakfasts and gather for games and a movie at nights in the comfortable spaces of the condo. It was very convenient that we were close enough for a quick walk to the train to get everywhere in Boston. Great place to stay!

This is a charming & beautifully restored property in the best location, centrally located to everything the Boston area has to offer! Lovely apartment was equipped w/ everything we needed. The beds were fantastic! VERY SAFE & WALKABLE area to North End. Charlestown is a charming area, not to be missed! Steps from the apt is Warren Tavern, where Paul Revere & George Washington gathered and has great food, drinks & lively nightlife. Right outside the door is Starbucks, 7-11, liquor store, Whole Foods, USPS & more. It is an unbelievably convenient location.
Stairs up to 2nd floor were daunting w/ all our heavy luggage but absolutely worth the haul once we entered the lovely apt. We all look forward to a return visit & would positively stay here again!

Beautiful location, convenient to train (5 min walk), grocery store (across the street) and coffee (Starbucks next door and dunks across the street)
Was a nice location to plan day trips around. We stayed out and about and came back to relax. Cozy apartment, large kitchen, comfy beds and hot water, what else can you ask for?
Communication was great, issue with thermostat was discussed with the owner and didn’t affect our stay. Responses to questions were fast and prompt.
Definitely would recommend and stay again.

We had a group of four stay here for a Fall girls getaway. The property is spacious and beautiful and was very clean. The location is absolutely perfect! We felt incredibly safe walking around the area during the day and night, and it is located right next door to a Starbucks, a two minute walk from a Whole Foods, and a 5 minute walk to the Warren Tavern. I definitely plan to stay here again when I make it back to Boston!

Great place with good location - we walked most places & used Uber a few times. Second floor stairs weren’t a problem for us, but certainly could be for others. The hosts’ were very responsive & helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Dexter Row in Charlestown, MA is a beautiful area. It is quiet with several nice restaurants; we ate at Warren Tavern and Brewers Fork, both excellent places. There's a Starbucks next door, 7-11, liquor store and CVS/Whole Foods across the street. We did the Freedom Trail (stop #16 Bunker monuments is only couple blocks away) over two days... lots of history. The condos on Dexter Row were built mid-1800's with modern updates inside. The place was lovely, perfect for a family. One note, there are many hills and steps are usually steep. We did a lot in 4 days, and we'd definitely stay at 4 Dexter Row (the owners were very nice and helpful) or in this area again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

I almost don’t want to share how great this property is but I will. It is in a perfect location, the T, a Whole Foods and other conveniences I are just a couple blocks away. There are three coffee chips within about a block. Great food options within blocks. The property is ideal and so well decorated. They don’t cut corners like some places. When we had questions the owners were very quick to respond. Don’t let the Charles River get in the way of staying in Charlestown. It was a very quick subway ride to all the main spots we wanted to visit.

Charming condo with all the comforts of home! Beautifully decorated, spacious and well stocked to meet our every need. Check in was super easy, great neighborhood to walk with restaurants, Whole foods, CVS and Dunkin Donuts a block away. Easy walk to the Orange line and a quick ride to downtown Boston. Loved our stay there and would definitely stay here again!

We felt very safe in the neighborhood. The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the convenience of local stores and restaurants. The recommendations of restaurants were much appreciated, along with travel guides. We were able to walk almost everywhere. When we didn’t want to walk, we just took the city transit which was very convenient and easy to use. We used a Lyft to and from the airport. It cost $30-$40.

This place was great for a visit to Boston and the surrounding area. Kristen was super responsive, and check in/out was a breeze. The property is not the most centrally located in Boston, but it is a quick bus/train or car ride away to downtown/NE/Back Bay or anywhere else in the city!

Great apartment and location. All of it was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay in Charlestown! The neighborhood is very cute and we walked most everywhere (Freedom trail, North End). We mostly used Uber/Lyft to go to farther places (airport/Fenway, Back Bay) but did walk to North Station to take the train to Salem (also could have used the Orange line to connect). The kitchen is well-appointed (though we just used it to heat up leftovers) and so is the bathroom. We would love to stay here again if visiting Boston again! Just a few things to be aware of - there is some street noise in the smaller bedroom so we’d recommend using the small fan in the closet for white noise or a sound machine app. Also the unit is on the second floor with quite a few steps for anyone with mobility issues.

This is a darling apartment in an excellent location. Walking distance to Whole Foods, coffee, restaurants, the T, and more. This is a huge apartment that is beautifully decorated…the pictures don’t do it justice. We loved our stay! Would absolutely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Boston someday.
