Lovely, cozy cottage with an excellent dog friendly fenced back yard. Doggie poop bags were even provided! Clean, quiet neighborhood, close to everything. The hot tub is definite plus. Very much enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

The house was nice, and the fenced backyard was great for the dogs. Unfortunately, shortly after arrival our sweet Black Jack collapsed and was hospitalized. He died several hours later. So, we can’t say we enjoyed our trip. We can say the accommodations would have been very good under different circumstances.

I would consider staying again. The house is cute and comfortable, in a quiet residential neighborhood that is well located for exploring Black Mountain and environs.

Great stay. The fence in the backyard might be a little too easy for athletic dogs to jump. I have trained pointers but sometimes if they chase something they may need a fence with a little more height. Did not want to just let them Out. Anyway everything else was great.

I have a Brother that lives near by and this house is in a great location for everything we need. Love the back yard for my kids(dogs) we spend a-lot of time there. Definitely would recommend this house.

Property was just right..even more than what we needed! Quiet and a short drive to many hikes and Asheville downtown area.

Everything was very nice! All basic amenities were there and convenient. My only complaint is that the water in the shower could have been hotter.

Had a great stay with my sister and 3 pups. The dogs loved the yard and we all were very comfortable inside and out. Great amenities and within minutes of DT black mountain and 20 minutes to Asheville.

This property was fantastic for my sisters and our dogs! We had all of the things we needed for an enjoyable long weekend. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus for the dogs. Location was great for us as we were looking to hike as well as spend time in downtown Asheville. There is a little town with breweries and restaurants nearby as well. The fire pit and hot tub were also great extras! Highly recommend and hope to be back!

This was a nice house with a great backyard for our dog. It’s in walking distance to some great restaurants and shops, and it’s a short drive to downtown Asheville and Biltmore. I would stay here again!

All in all, we had an okay stay.. The home was clean and only one story, which was good for us. I do not usually leave negative reviews and have been lucky with VRBO thus far. We had an okay stay but left a day early even though we paid for another night. We checked in at 5pm, but the place was supposed to be ready after 4pm. There was a woman there when we arrived, but she rushed off without speaking. One of the beds and pillows were disheveled as though she had been on the bed, but we don't know for sure. It was just strange. I notified the owner but received no response. The jets in the front part of the hot tub were not working, but we could not figure out how to turn them on and nothing was found in the directions. We asked the owner about this, but again received no response. The fan in one of the bathrooms was so loud it was uncomfortable to use the bathroom. The backyard was not mowed, and there were a lot of clover and bees. I could not let my small dog walk around in the fenced in yard because of the weeds and bees. There was a hammock in the back, but the wood on one end was snapped in half making it unusable. We informed the owner about this but received no response. Only one kitchen towel was provided, so we had to use paper towels. The cooking utensils were very worn, and the drawer they were stored in was broke and almost falls out when you open it. Finally, I was not expecting the view out the front window to be a mobile home. I would say that we chose poorly and would not stay there again.

My wife, myself and our dog loved the property! It was so relaxing and comfortable, the amenities and location close to downtown was very convenient. We loved the serenity of the backyard with the large fenced in property for our dog. The fire pit and chairs were so peaceful for evening star gazing. The hot tub was such an enjoyable feature for this Florida couple enduring the 40 degree temperatures! We truly enjoyed every facet of this vacation. Thank you so much for having us!

Yeah this place great- so clean! And the hot tub was hot and ready for us when we checked in! The amazing back yard kept our pup corralled while we enjoyed the a fire in the pit. Very private. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again -Thanks y’all :)

This place was so cute and close to everything! 20min into Asheville, 5-10min to restaurants and breweries, and super close to different hiking trails! We loved the fire pit and our dogs loved running around in the back yard! Thank you for letting us stay!!

Great stay in a great part of Black Mountain! The house was clean and well stocked, the yard was perfect for our dog.

Easy process. Short walk to downtown. House was perfect.

Great location- quiet and close to everything. Enjoyed local restaurants and the area. Close to hiking areas and to Asheville.

This house has everything you need for a perfect weekend in the mountains... complete with hot tub and fire pit! They even have plenty of firewood available so no need to worry about getting any. Property manager very responsive and quick communication. Easy walk into Black Mountain for a coffee at the Dripolator (about a mile) but there are 2 bikes available for use. We also hiked Greybeard trail and the trailhead is only 2 miles away in Montreat. Won’t be disappointed with this rental!

We had a wonderful weekend at this newly renovated home! It was a short ride to Biltmore and very close to everything to see and do in downtown Black Mountain. It had a well stocked kitchen and a fenced backyard for the pups to explore. We would definitely stay here again.

The Grey Eagle is a new addition to the Black Mountain area. The location is great. The furnishing are new. The hot tub is wonderful. There's a nice yard for your 4 legged family member. Our dog loved it!

We spent a month in Black Mountain and absolutely loved it. This home is in a perfect location - 3 minutes from both downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Nice remodeled home with a great backyard and deck. Perhaps a little small for big families but our family of four + dog fit in the house great. No real complaints - nice home. Jessica was great to work with - on top of it, communicative, and easy to work with. Definitely recommend it.
