friendly greeting, helpful lovely lady.showed us to our lovely room - even carried our suit case! Tea/coffee on arrival. Sat out in the very pretty garden in the sunshine. we felt right at home!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property! It was so tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! Breakfast was super!

Hosts are amazing, the room is really nice - bathroom is huge, the breakfast was lovely but it’s the nice touches that make it. Exceptionally nice wine, home made raspberry jam, stylish laid back and comfortable decor - Nigel and Caroline have created something special here. We were encouraged to make ourselves at home. We certainly did and felt very relaxed and looked after!

A fantastic B&B where you’re looked after by the lovely owner Caroline. Nothing is ever a problem and the place is emasculate and done to a very high standard. Great beds, lovely sheets and lovely bathrooms.

Bridge House is a gem. A cafe by day serving home-made 'proper good food' there are 3 recently refurbished B&B rooms attached. Our room was spotlessly clean and stylishly appointed with a very comfortable bed, bespoke furniture, quality toiletries in the bathroom and a selection of teas, filter coffee and fresh milk in the room. We hadn't made a reservation for dinner locally but Caroline kindly allowed us to eat our take away from the (excellent) gastropub across the road in the cosy breakfast/sitting room. Breakfast was very good indeed! We were given a big jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, a bottle of apple juice and very good coffee while we chose from the menu which was varied and interesting with lots of options for vegetarians too. Caroline was an excellent host and Nigel a fabulous baker. In summary the best B&B I have stayed in.

Hospitality excellent. Breakfast choices exceptional. Decor throughout would not shame Homes and Gardens, bed high quality and comfortable.

The only (v minor) issue for me was the parking is across the road in a small public car park. I had a dog with me that had to be left in the car. Carolyn kindly let me park in front of their garage, so at least my dog was away from public view.

Amazing host, lovely room which is decorated immaculately. Beautiful toiletries and a great location opposite The Swan pub which has good food. Unfortunately we ended up driving back due to a poorly relative so didn’t experience the bed or breakfast but Caroline was extremely kind and the place is lovely.

A real gem of a b&b - everything was perfect. I loved the decor of my room - cosy but with contemporary touches. Caroline was a perfect host, welcoming me with a complimentary cream tea, it felt like a home from home. The breakfasts were varied and very tasty with home made bread and good coffee. A must visit if you’re in the area!

we loved the beautiful garden and the very lovely room .. it was immaculate and very tastefully done. the breakfast was perfect with homemade bread granola and jams.

Beautifully and sympathetically decorated with gorgeous rooms. Fantastic hosts, with a surprise complimentary cream tea on arrival. Definitely recommend and would book again in a heartbeat!

Fabulous home made food and much kindness

Everything was immaculate and the welcome, service, facilities were lovely, as were the hosts. I would highly recommend.

Smoking wasn't allowed in the garden, which we understood but maybe a little space could be offered.

We spent a night here after our wedding at a local venue and everything was perfect! A beautiful room with lots of unexpected luxuries, a fantastic breakfast full of locally sourced products and a team who couldn't do more for you! Add to that a lovely hidden garden, an Instagram worthy bathroom and water in your room supporting the RNLI- this place is a gem in an already lovely place.

Caroline was an excellent host. She gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
